Data Storing in Multitenant Clouds using Split and Merge Method

Resource Accounting of Shared IT Resources is a technique that distributes the excess dynamic local workload evenly across all the nodes. It is used for achieving a better service provisioning and resource utilization ratio, hence improving the overall performance of the system Incoming tasks are coming from different location are received by the load balancer and then distributed to the data center, for the proper load distribution. Also accounting of the shared resources is very important to process the new requests. Hence in this project, we have designed and implemented the resource accounting technique, called Rameter.

Rameter consists of 2 parts : 1. Keeps track of the distributed requests. 2. Keeps an account of the resource usage. Also integrated Linear Regression (LR) to monitor the accountability of the CPU usage. For experimental results, we are implementing Apache server as the accounting load balancer to keep track of the virtual machine status. Tomcat server is installed in virtual machine to obtain the job status.

For data secure repository or data recovery in cloud storage we proposed muti-cloud architecture, where the user data is split into 2 parts and both files are encrypted and stored in Cloud 1 and Cloud 2. During the request our technique will merge the 2 parts and provide the response to the requested user. For Cloud storage we are invoking public clouds namely Dropbox and CloudMe.

Data Injection using Kalman-Like Particle Filter Based Smoother is Diagonalized into Subsystem

Web applications are typically developed with hard time constraints and are often deployed with security vulnerabilities. Automatic web vulnerability scanners can help to locate these vulnerabilities and are popular tools among developers of web applications. Their purpose is to stress the application from the attacker's point of view by issuing a huge amount of interaction within it. Two of the most widely spread and dangerous vulnerabilities in web applications are SQL injection and cross site scripting (XSS), because of the damage they may cause to the victim business.

The most common types of software faults are injected in the web application code which is then checked by the scanners. The results are compared by analyzing coverage of vulnerability detection and false positives. Added to this it checks whether the domain or URL gives is present in any of the domain blacklist sites. It also provides I Category- the category classification for the given domain.

So this gives the analyst an advantage of having the Domain rating for the given domain with a lookup on top blacklist providing sites and also the Category Classification for the given domain. Three leading commercial scanning tools are evaluated and the results show that in general the coverage is low and the percentage of false positives is very high.

User Data Integrating with Anti-Collusion Scheme and SVC in Cloud Groups

In cloud computing, user can share data among group members with the characters of less maintenance and little management cost. Sharing data must have security guarantees, if they are out sourced. Sharing data while providing privacy preserving is still a challenging problem, when change of the membership. It might cause to the collusion attack for an unsecured cloud. For existing technique, security of key distribution is based on the secure communication channel, however, to have such channel is a strong assumption and is difficult for practice. We propose a secure data sharing scheme for dynamic users.

Key distribution done without any secure communication channels and the user can get the individual key from group manager.Data deduplication is one of the techniques which used to solve the repetition of data. Our proposed system prevents the replication of files and media file like images, videos. The deduplication techniques are generally used in the cloud server for reducing the space of the server. To prevent the unauthorized use of data accessing and create duplicate data on cloud the encryption technique to encrypt the data before stored on cloud server.

CloudMe is proposed for cloud storage. All files of data owners are encrypted using AES algorithm and stored in real cloud. Thus we present a secure system architecture design as our initial effort towards this direction, which bridges together the advancements of video coding techniques and secure deduplication. Our design enables the cloud with the crucial deduplication functionality to completely eliminate the extra storage and bandwidth cost.

Analysis and Control of Grid Connected DFIG Under Sub & Super Synchronous Modes of Operation

The most reliable system in the present scenario for effective use of the wind power is grid integrated Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG). The implementation of a simple power converter arrangement in the rotor circuit for variable speeds has been proposed. Depending on wind speed, a DFIG based variable speed wind turbine is capable of operating in sub-synchronous or super-synchronous mode of operation using power electronic converters.

The power flow in the rotor circuit is controlled for controlling the stator power in both the modes of operation by effecting rotor voltage through IGBT in sub-synchronous mode whereas in super-synchronous mode it is controlled by current sequence through LCI. The complete system has been modeled Using MATLAB/SIMULINK blocks and simulation study has been conducted, the operation of the proposed scheme is illustrated at different operating conditions i.e. above and below synchronous speeds.

Automated Greenhouse

Proper ecological conditions are fundamental for ideal plant development, enhanced harvest yields, and ecient utilization of water and different assets, and ecient use of water and other resources. Automating the data acquisition process of the soil conditions and various climatic parameters that over run plant growth allows information to be collected at high frequency with less labour requirements. The main objective of the project is to analyze the atmospheric conditions like soil moisture, humidity, and temperature under a closed path using Arduino mega.

The productivity can be increased to a greater extend using greenhouse automation. The DC pump is provided in which the relay switches on and off conditions as per the actions. This makes the DC pump to transfer water for the future process. All the atmospheric conditions are maintained at room temperature using different sensors.

These automation processes can be done using various electrical components including Arduino. The main advantage of Arduino is ease of understandability and easily modifiable. We can gather the information using IOT basis. The IOT basis helps people to gather information of the current status about the updates of automation as soon as possible.

Injector Based Smart Vada Maker

A compact table-top automatic Vada making a machine for use at lunch counters, in-store bakery counters, small bakeries, and the like, where freshly cooked vada are sold in moderately large volume. The machine is particularly adaptable to varying volume requirements, being an adjustable crank mechanism employed in the system. The machine includes a generally rectangular compact tank containing the cooking fat or oil which is heated by automatic thermostatically controlled means.

A removable insert in the tanks defines a circuitous path along which the Vada flow in the course of being cooked.

A removable vada extruding from the injector unit is mounted over one end of the tank to form and drop rings of raw dough into the oil. The Vada is moved along the surface of the cooking oil by a propulsion pump inducing a continuous flow of oil as the Vada is first cooked on one side, turned over automatically, cooked on the other side and discharged from the machine. The machine can be readily disassembled for easy cleaning.

The coating on Al6061 Aluminium alloy surface with WC/Ni powder compact electrode using electrical discharge machining

EDM is an unconventional machining process widely used for machining tough material. A special aspect of EDM is surface modification by transferring the tool electrode material to workpiece surface. In the present work, electrode prepared with tungsten carbide (WC) and nickel (Ni) by powder metallurgy route as tool and Al6061 as workpiece substrate. By changing the polarity of EDM (workpiece as cathode and tool as anode), the hard carbide layer of WC/Ni tool has been deposited on the workpiece.

The influence of compaction load through P/M method, discharge current and pulse on time during electrical discharge coating (EDC) on metal transfer rate (MTR) and tool wear rate (TWR) have been studied. As design of experiment, face centered central composite of response surface methodology (RSM) has been adopted to study the influence of various parameter on EDC.

The Performance Analysis of PAPR Reduction using a SLM technique at different parameters u and M in OFDM-MIMO System

The ecological functions of urban areas are degraded; the infrastructures of cities and the built-up regions have enormous impacts on ecosystems and ecology of the urban environment. In this paper, we focused on the connections of urban ecology and urban design, urbanisation impacts on urban ecosystems functions and ecological urbanism approach to degraded urban areas. The studies revealed the relationship of urban ecology and urban design and the ecosystem services they provide in the urban environment.

In Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is an new method for fourth generation wireless communication. MIMO-OFDM has become a promising candidate for high performance 4G broadband wireless communications. However, one main disadvantage of MIMO-OFDM is the high peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) of the transmitter's output signal on different antennas. In this paper, we present a new noble SLM PAPR reduction techniques such as selective mapping technique and Partial transmit sequence techniques and shows which of these PAPR reduction techniques are more effective to reduce PAPR in OFDM-MIMO.

Fault Testing and Diagnosis of Sram based FBGA using Built-In-Self-Test-Architecture

A new low-power (LP) scan-based built-in self test (BIST) technique is proposed based on weighted pseudorandom test pattern generation and reseeding. A new LP scan architecture is proposed, which supports both pseudorandom testing and deterministic BIST. During the pseudorandom testing phase, an LP weighted random test pattern generation scheme is proposed by disabling a part of scan chains. During the deterministic BIST phase, the design-for-testability architecture is modified slightly while short. Built in Self-Test (BIST) is a design technique that allows a circuit to test itself .

The proposed method of a built-in self-test (BIST) design for fault detection and fault diagnosis of static-RAM (SRAM)-based field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). can test both the interconnect resources [wire channels and programmable switches (PSs)] and lookup tables (LUTs) in the configurable logic blocks (CLBs).The test pattern generator and output response analyzer are configured by CLBs in FPGAs.

The target fault detection/diagnosis of the proposed BIST structure are open/short and delay faults in the wire channels, stuck on/off faults in PSs, andstuck-at-0/1 faults in LUTs. The testing process is performed by configuring the Test Pattern Generator (TPG), Output Response Analyzer (ORA) and Block under Test (BUT) in each test block.

Symmetric Key Cryptography Algorithm for Data Security

Ambiguous Multi-Symmetric Cryptography (AMSC) that hide multiple plain-texts in a cipher-text using the same number of keys. The goal of this method is to overcome the problem of symmetric cryptography failure when the shared key is exposed. The proposed method AMSC is a cryptographic primitive that preserves plausible deniability after a cryptographic key is discovered. We evaluate AMSC in terms of security and complexity. The security analysis shows that our scheme withstands all security attack models with different knowledge of the adversary.

In terms of time complexity, AMSC produces the cipher-text in polynomial time with respect to the number and size of the plaintexts and keys. AMSC has two main applications: a) It sends multiple messages for multiple receivers through one cipher-text. b) It sends one real message and multiple decoys to defeat attacks by providing security beyond conventional brute-force bounds. For both applications, AMSC can be used to deny encryption.

Experimental Study on Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow Characteristcs of Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger using hiTRAN Wire Inserts

Heating and cooling process of fluid streams is a standard operation in petrochemical and other industries. This operation is often performed in heat exchangers where the hot or cold fluid flows inside and outside the tubes. Shell and tube heat exchangers are most widely used in practical applications. They are also having special importance in process industries as well as in refrigeration and air conditioning industries. The analysis of heat exchanger performance is difficult, since it involves both forced and natural convection heat transfer due to the complex mechanisms conditions are considered. Heat transfer in case of laminar flow (Re < 2000) regimes is normally low but can be enhanced by the use of tube inserts or tabulators.

Design and Fabrication of Sentry Gun based on Mechatronics System

The project is concerned with the design and fabrication of sentry gun using Mechatronics System. It is a gun which is automatically aims and fires at the targets that are detected by a camera. The sentry gun uses a camera based weapon system to detect/track a target and hardware to aim and fire at the target. As per today's military status, this system is not readily used by the military even though it has a greater potential. The system would replace the active function of an armed guard while keeping a human life out of harm. Overall, this system has a lot of potential in the modern-day military strategy and would help soldiers in the field of operation.

The main components of the project are Arduino, Servo motor, Camera, Paintball gun. An Arduino is a microcontroller, which can be interfaced with the computer and can control the servo motor. Three servo motors are used to control the movement of the gun and base, such as 'Å“Pan' control servo motor, 'Å“Tilt' control servo motor and 'Å“Trigger' control servo motor. The Pan Servo motor controls the side-to-side movement of the gun.

The Tilt servo motor controls the up-down movement of the gun and the remaining servo motor is used to squeeze the trigger of the gun. The camera will scan the object depending upon the Arduino code and the feedback is sent back to the Arduino controller. The gun has the ability to scan its field of view using a camera and can fire automatically at the target. The camera image is processed in the Arduino controller and the target is fixed with the help of servo motor and the target is aimed and fired.

This project can be used as a defensive gun/ weapon in military battlefields and it can also be used for the local security purpose, businesses or as a house guard. The benefit of this sentry gun gives more accuracy, safety, less cost, nil risk for the guard and has a diverse scope in future battle fields.

Design and Analysis of Air Intake System for Single Cylinder Engine

Our understanding of Air flow behavior around an object makes us better designer in order to achieve better performances from our automobiles. In this paper we present an analysis of air flow via air-intake system required to meet FSAE norms in SUPRA Vehicles. The aim of this project is to create a flow restriction device to be fitted in the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) car being built by Team Zenith, GB Pant Engineering College, New Delhi.

The car is an open wheeled race vehicle, designed to go from 0-60 mph in under 4 seconds and have a top speed of about 80-90 mph.An Air-intake system in a FSAE SUPRA Vehicle consists of various components as followed: -1) Air Filter2) Air Restrictor3) Plenum4) Intake Manifold.Air enters at the filter and passes through restrictor, which is used to increase velocity and drop pressure and then enters into plenum which is used to provide better distribution of air flow and to prevent further drop in pressure.Design of Air restrictor is critical as per norms of FSAE due to fixed minimum neck diameter of 20 mm as demonstrated below.

Fig: - Basic structure of restrictor, plenum and runnerThis is done primarily to limit the power capability from the engine. Since the maximum mass flow rate is now a fixed parameter because of the restrictor, the aim is to allow the engine to achieve the maximum mass flow with minimal pull from the engine. In short, the pressure difference between atmosphere and the pressure created in the cylinder should be minimal, so that maximum airflow into the engine at all times.

Our study revolves around finding such combination of angles of inclination and rise of the restrictor which should provide the vehicle maximum performance within limits directed by FSAE.We have simulated various design of Air restrictors based on different pair of angles for the Air-restrictor that could make a significant impact in the performance of the engine. The software we used for the same are ANSYS, SolidWorks.

Application & Analysis of Banana Stem Fibre use as Construction Material

This project reviews the properties of banana fibres. These banana fibres were investigated by different researchers as a construction material to be used in composites (such as mortar and concrete). The different research carried out and the conclusions drawn are briefly presented. The aim of review is to compile the available data of banana fibres evaluated in last few decades and thus, it can be used as a references/guideline for the upcoming result of a particular fibre.

Natural fibres are use to increase the strength properties of the composites. But all properties cannot be improved at the same time because fibres have their own characteristics. So it is recommended that appropriate fibre should be use for a particular purpose. Also, there should be guideline/criteria for acceptance of banana fibres, because of variable properties of a particular fibre in different regions. No doubt, banana fibres can be used in a variety of manners, but still, there is a need of research for investigating the further properties of fibres.

Review on Detection and Grading the Cataract based on Image Processing

This paper gives overview of development of system to detect & grade the cataract based on image processing.Cataract is when lens gets cloudy. It is leading cause of blindness worldwide. It causes a blurred and foggy vision. Catarct can lead to partial or complete loss of eyesight. A protein layer is developed gradually and the lens becomes cloudy over a long period of time which reduces vision and leads to blindness. Early treatment can lessen the difficulties faced by cataract.

Early stage of cataract is not detected by manual method then it will cause problem. Accurate diagnosis and timely treatment of nuclear cataract is essential to prevent vision loss. Severity of cataract is given by grading system. Cataract is classified into three types based on the area of protein deposition named as nuclear cataract, cortical cataract, posterior sub capsular cataract. With the development of image processing techniques, efforts have been put in the development of automatic systems to improve grading objectivity.
