RFID Based Product Identification in a Closed Box
The main aim of this project is to manage inspection efficiently within the stipulated time line with at most accuracy The carton box containing the products with RFID tags is arranged accordingly. The efficient management system is developed to identify and sort out the quantity of products available in the box without unboxing. The box containing the product is placed in the conveyor once the box is placed a sensor senses the box and sends signal thereby switching ON the conveyor. The box then moves in the conveyor crosses the QR code scanner which reads the master data and sends it to the system the box then travels into the inspection chamber which has the two RFID reader antenna which emits signal and capture total number of RFID tags available in the box and similar tags hence sends the captured data to the system. If the total number of products, tags is matched with the master data the box moves to the selection section. In case if there is any mismatch found like different tags, product count with the master data the product is send for rejection during inspection of product if the product count is found to be less than the count mentioned in the master data a special operation is performed known as shake operation . Where the conveyor is moved back and forth continuously and again the product is inspected if it matches the master data it is sent for selection else the product is moved to rejection section by an arm.

Factors Affecting Job Satisfaction and Productivity of Sewing Line Workers A Study on Selected Readymade Garment Industries in Myanmar
A basic requirement for job satisfaction among sewing line workers is a working environment that allows workers to perform their work at an optimal level in a comfortable environment. The working environment plays an essential role in workers job satisfaction and the impact of job satisfaction on productivity. A causal study was conducted to examine the impact of the working environment on job satisfaction and productivity of workers in the garment manufacturing industries. In this study, six factors of the work environment were considered for job satisfaction, which are, working conditions, remuneration, job security, psychosocial work environment, ergonomics and work participation. Data was collected from four readymade garment industries in Myanmar using random sampling. Multiple regression analysis and simple linear regression were used to predict the correlation. Based on the finding, this study showed that working conditions, remuneration and psychosocial work environment have strong casual effect on workers’ job satisfaction and job security and ergonomics are moderate and work participation is low casual effect on workers’ job satisfaction.

Productivity Improvement in a Sewing Line Through Line Balancing in a Garment Manufacturing Company in the Philippines

It was noted that the average productivity rate of the selected assembly line was only seventy-one (71) percent way down below from their target output. Based on the findings of the study, plant layout was one of the contributing factors that causes bottleneck in the assembly line particularly in the pairing and aligning of cut goods.
Task time involved in each process was studied and computed based on optimal number of manpower and expected productivity rate. In effect, combining the processes of pairing and aligning of cut goods in one line contributes great impact in reduction of machine requirements per process to improve the productivity rate of the company.
