Separate Conductors for AC and DC Supply

AC and DC supplies are ruling in this present electricity world. Involvement of both AC and DC supply can be seen from small circuits to big giant machineries. But is there conductor separation needed for both distinguish supply forms Are we wasting time, money and materials by using same conductors for both dissimilar supplies In my opinion, it is the right time to take decision to separate conductors for both rulers.

Analysis of Power Quality Issues and Implementation of UPQC Topologies to Enhance Power System Stability

Due to the depletion of fossil fuels, coal, and oil, traditional electricity generation has a difficult task for utilities. A cheaper and more efficient method of doing this is required. A different source is required to fulfill the consumers power requirements. The alternate source should be sustainable and capable of meeting the consumers requirements. The integration of renewable energy into the grid is a useful way to fulfill demand. Renewable energy integration confronts three major problems frequency variation, power quality concerns, and power system instability. The following problems were of critical importance. An analytic hierarchy approach based expert system is utilized to identify and categorize power quality incidents. Before, it could sense things like sag, swell, transients, harmonics, interrupts, and flickers. An error free event classification system has been suggested. Simplified procedure allows for improved detection and categorization of power quality incidents. an investigation of power quality incidents and their mitigation using unified power quality conditioners UPQC An Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System ANFIS is used to minimize various power quality issues. Integrating renewable energy sources efficiently minimizes the environmental impact. The suggested method provides a solution to voltage unbalances and lowers overall harmonic distortion at the point of common coupling PCC . The addition of an ANFIS controlled DVR is used to reduce voltage irregularities caused by integrating renewable energy sources and faults in the transmission line. An artificial fault was added to power quality events with the goal of making use of renewable energy. To minimize the adverse effects of power quality incidents, the ANFIS controlled DVR proposal is in place. ANFIS controlled DVR is contrasted to a traditional technique of surveillance. Distributed static compensator D STATCOM is used to prevent voltage flickers, and total harmonic distortion, caused by nonlinear loads. D STATCOM is suggested to use three control methods Instantaneous power theory, Synchronous vector PI Control, and Harmonic elimination. Under extreme load circumstances, the D efficacy STATCOMs is evaluated. The suggested expert system and the bespoke power devices will be analyzed and discussed using various control techniques.

A Study on Customer Perception of Electric Vehicle and Its Impact on Traditional Supply Chain in India

India traditionally has been belligerent to any changes. But with the need to curb environmental emissions it has been identified that there is a need to switch from ICE vehicles to Electric Vehicles. This switch is eminent and a necessity in order to fight the climatic and environmental changes which is affecting all living life whether in land, water or air. It is a fact that with substantial shift in the automobile industry towards Electric Vehicles disruption in the automobile supply Chain in imminent. It is true that for those suppliers who are heavily leveraged and unable to adapt it could spell a disastrous financial troubles ahead. This study is an attempt to identify how production and supply of electric vehicles will impact the traditional supply chain in India and suggest ways and methods to incorporate the changes. An attempt has also been made in this study to identify the perception of individuals regarding Electric Vehicle. Because it is the people's choice which will lead to boon or bane for this segment of automobiles.

Analysis and Design of Box Underpass Bridge Using Software

In the last few decades, there has been an enormous increase in traffic volume on highways due to population growth and rapid urbanization. To maintain traffic flow, numerous new highways and flyovers have been built. As part of the modern world, bridge construction has come to be considered of international importance. It provides passage over obstructions without closing off the path below. Recent technological advancements have made conventional bridges obsolete. Innovative and cost effective structural systems have replaced conventional bridges. These days, box type bridges are becoming more popular in modern highway systems, including urban interchanges, because of their efficient dispersal of congested traffic, their economic considerations, and their aesthetic appeal. The structures have many advantages that are useful in freeway and bridge construction, including structural efficiency, serviceability.

Analysis and Design of Reinforced Concrete Solid Slab Bridge

Structural planning and analysis is an art and science of designing with economy, elegance and sturdiness. Structural designing requires an in depth structural analysis on which the planning is predicted, to compete within the ever competitive market, The use of software can save many man hours and efforts in structural analysis and an effort was made in the present study to achieve this objective. The purpose of this study is to analyze and design the solid deck slab bridge by STAAD Pro and manual method under different loading conditions. And also the analysis results in term of shear, bending moment, axial force and deflection were checked by STAAD Pro which is passes through many different load combinations. The maximum design moments resulting from the combinations of various loading cases.part 1 The study deals with the planning and analysis of Solid Deck Slab using Staad Pro software. In this study solid deck slab having 8.2 m long span and the thickness of slab 0.65 m and the slab is simply supported. The drafting and detailing work was completed using AutoCAD software and thereafter the entire design work was completed using “Staad Pro v8i ss6.

A Review on Various Topologies of Generators, Power Converters and Control Schemes in Wind Energy Systems

In the field of renewable energy, conversion of wind energy has become a point of major interest to the researcher. Converters are no more a small part of the wind energy system WES due to the development of generators in the WES and advancement in applications of power electronics in the WES. This paper presents a review of different topologies of converts used in the extraction of energy from wind using various generators and their combination with different converter topologies. Control scheme complexity, cost, the power consumed, and efficiency are the points considered for the comparison of converters-generator combination schemes.

Correlation between Terms of 5G Networks, IoT and D2D Communication

The proliferation of heterogeneous devices connected through large scale networks is a clear sign that the vision of the Internet of Things IoT is getting closer to becoming a reality. Many researchers and experts in the field share the opinion that the next to come fifth generation 5G cellular systems will be a strong boost for the IoT deployment. Device to Device D2D appears as a key communication paradigm to support heterogeneous objects interconnection and to guarantee important benefits. Future research directions are then presented towards a fully converged 5G IoT ecosystem. In this paper, we analyze existing data about D2D communication systems and its relation of 5G IoT networks. The enhancement of such networks will bring several spheres to learn for.
