Automated Water Management and Distribution System using DTMF

Water shortage is a genuine issue in major cities. One of the foremost critical viewpoints of any town administration includes water management. It may be a pivotal perspective as nowadays water assets are exceptionally constrained and nobody can bear its wastage. This project deals with approximate mechanization within the water conveyance and administration with specialized advances. In this system, water volume will be detected by the water level sensor. As the water volume drops the motor is automatically turned on. The supply of water to diverse regions computerized through the utilize of DTMF. Different Solenoid valves are controlled by using the microcontroller for the conveyance of water. Motor speed is controlled with respect to tank water level. This extends deals around the versatile controlled water dispersion totally different zones and conveyance of water.

Photocatalytic Degradation of Ciprofloxacin using TiO2 in a Slurry Photocatalytic Reactor Optimization

A slurry photocatalytic reactor assessed for the degradation of ciprofloxacin CFX . The effect of operating parameters like initial ciprofloxacin concentration, catalyst dosage and pH on ciprofloxacin degradation was analysed in this study. Batch study was conducted and it showed 90 degradation of the CFX. It was observed the optimum concentration of CFX was 1500 µg l, catalyst dosage was 1 g l at the pH of 9 for the duration of 3 hours. The photocatalytic degradation of CFX followed the pseudo first order kinetics.

Computational Intelligence plus Network Connected Based Soil Irrigation and Soil Health Monitoring using PV Grid Tie Inverter System

The future tomorrow requires a clean and renewable source of energy to generate more power and maintain its increasing demands. One of the most cost effective and practical viable sources for clean energy is solar photovoltaics. India is an agricultural country. Agriculture is the most important occupation for the most of the Indian families. In India, agriculture contributes about 16 of total GDP and 10 of total exports. Water is main resource for agriculture, irrigation is one method to supply water but, in some cases, there will be lot of water wastage. This paper completely discuss about how the Grid tie Inverter PV system is used for production of energy and how it is used for running of electric pump in the field with smart irrigation system and soil health monitoring system which helps to decrease the wastage of water and also makes us easy to have a note of soil condition anytime and anywhere. In this proposed system we are using different types of soil sensor which senses the moisture value and the land gets automatically irrigated by ON OFF of the motor using relay unit.

Speed Torque Characteristics of BLDC Motor with Load Variations

Nowadays, Brushless DC motors are in high demand due to its high efficiency and other significant features. As there is no use of brushes, this type of motor is having many advantages like high torque to inertia ratio, high speed, and power density and low cost compared to conventional brushed motors. This paper determines speed torque characteristics of brushless dc motor with different load variation by using the proposed method and the developed controller. The variation in motor speed torque characteristics for half load, full load, and overloading condition is analyzed. This research has been conducted to analyze the model and compared with the simulation results which are very useful in studying the performance of motor system. The simulation is carried out in MATLAB Simulink environment.

Performance Evaluation of a Developed Multipurpose Solar Dryer

Post harvest losses in developing countries have contributed to the unavailability of foodstuff. Estimation of these losses is generally cited to be of the order of 4 but under very adverse conditions, it is estimated as high as 100 . A significant percentage of these losses are related to improper and or untimely preservation of foodstuffs. This research work is therefore aimed at developing a multipurpose solar dryer. The solar dryer consists mainly of solar collector and dryer chamber compartment. The materials used in this research work include based frame, transparent fiberglass cover, an absorber oven baked Aluminium , thermometer, wire gauze, etc. The frame was constructed from a wood bars with a dimension of 900 mm x 900 mm x 600 mm. The dryer chamber is a truncated rectangle and it comprises of a double walls made up of a plain ply board measuring 800 mm x 800 mm x by 500 mm with a transparent fiberglass cover inclined at an angle of 15o. Three different samples namely sample A sliced plantains , sample B sliced yams , and sample C fish were used for test performance evaluation of the developed multipurpose solar dryer. The results obtained reveal that overall heat energy transfer coefficient of 4.91w m0C, dryer chamber rate of 0.654 kg hr., and dryer chamber area of 0.659 m2 were required by the solar dryer. Besides, the solar dryer dried the three samples used in this research work within duration of 8 hours i.e., 9am 5pm . The maximum solar chamber dryer temperature and ambient temperature were recorded as 55.00 oC and 35.46 oC respectively. Besides, the minimum lower temperature values recorded were obtained as 40.45 oC for solar chamber dryer temperature and 29.02 oC for ambient temperature. The improved results obtained with the multipurpose solar dryer were due to improved temperature obtained with the solar dryer chamber.
