Analysis of Construction Criteria on Suspension Bridge A Perspective View

A bridge is a structure built to span a valley, road, body of water, or other physical obstacle, for the purpose of providing passage over the obstacle. Nowadays suspension bridges are the pioneers in bridge technology. Of all the bridge types in use today, the suspension bridge allows for the longest span ranging from 2,000 to 7,000 feet. This type of bridge has cables suspended between towers and the cables support vertical suspender cables that carry the weight of the deck below. This arrangement allows the deck to be level or to arc upward for additional clearance. They are ideal for covering busy waterways. In this paper limitation, assumption analysis, how it can be constructing and loads acting on the bridge is described.

Design and Implementation of Smart Solar Lamp with Automation

This paper proposes design and implementation of energy efficient smart solar lamp with automatic turn on or off mechanism for outdoor lighting purpose. The main objective is to design energy efficient smart solar lamp for energy conservation in existing lighting system in rural area, urban area and exclusively for smart cities. The system consists of LED luminaire, solar panel, light sensor, motion sensor, battery. The smart solar lamp’s lighting is controlled on the basis of motion in it’s surrounding and day night time. The system is design to automatically turn off during the hours of daylight and only operate during the night or when the light intensity is very low. Many times we see that our outdoor lights are remain switched ON even during day time, this is total of wastes of electricity while India is facing lack of electricity. Another problem is the traditional lamp e.g. Sodium vapour, Metal halide, Incandescent, Fluorescent lamps consumes more power as compared to new advanced Led Lights. Smart solar lamp can be operated free of cost by using automatic controlled and self powered.

Classification and Detection of Vehicles using Deep Learning

The vehicle classification and detecting its license plate are important tasks in intelligent security and transportation systems. The traditional methods of vehicle classification and detection are highly complex which provides coarse grained results due to suffering from limited viewpoints. Because of the latest achievements of Deep Learning, it was successfully applied to image classification and detection of objects. This paper presents a method based on a convolutional neural network, which consists of two steps vehicle classification and vehicle license plate recognition. Several typical neural network modules have been applied in training and testing the vehicle Classification and detection of license plate model, such as CNN convolutional neural networks , TensorFlow, Tesseract OCR. The proposed method can identify the vehicle type, number plate and other information accurately. This model provides security and log details regarding vehicles by using AI Surveillance. It guides the surveillance operators and assists human resources. With the help of the original training dataset and enriched testing dataset, the algorithm can obtain results with an average accuracy of about 97.32 in the classification and detection of vehicles. By increasing the amount of the data, the mean error and misclassification rate gradually decreases. So, this algorithm which is based on Deep Learning has good superiority and adaptability. When compared to the leading methods in the challenging Image datasets, our deep learning approach obtains highly competitive results. Finally, this paper proposes modern methods for the improvement of the algorithm and prospects the development direction of deep learning in the field of machine learning and artificial intelligence.

The Designing and Weighting of Key Performance Indicators using the SCOR Approach and AHP in XYZ Weaving Company

Competition between companies is becoming more intense, which is why each company must improve their performance. Supply Chain Management becomes an important part of a company in order to determine an efficient business strategy. One way is to measure supply chain performance. The first step that must be taken is to determine and weigh the Key Performance Indicator as a measurement of supply chain performance measurement in XYZ Weaving Company with the Supply Chain Operations Reference SCOR approach. The result of the study is that there are 23 KPIs with their respective weights on each level. The highest weight on Level 1 is on the Make process with a weight value of 0.357. The highest weight on level 2 is on the Reliability variable with a total weight of 0.424, while the highest weight on level 3 is on the Time needed to manufacture products with a total weight of 0.067.

Study of an Innovative Construction Material - “Basalt Fiber”

Basalt fiber BCF is an inorganic fiber material. It is an all natural material and originates from volcanic rock. Basalt rock is melted at high temperature 1450° C and rapidly drawn into a continuous fiber. It then can be chopped into various lengths. Its color can vary between brown, gold, or gray. The basic characteristics of Basalt materials are high temperature resistance, high corrosion resistance, resistance to acids and alkalis, high strength and thermal stability. Basalt materials can be used as a reinforcing composite material for the construction industry, specifically as a less expensive alternative to other fiber. In addition to high specific strength, high specific modulus, BCF also has excellent temperature resistance 260~700 , anti oxidation, anti radiation, thermal and sound insulation, filtration, anti compression strength and high shear strength, high availability, and good cost performance. It is found in nature as an inorganic non metal material and is a new basic material and high tech fiber that can satisfy the demand for the development of basic infrastructures.

Application of High Voltage Engineering for Air Pollution Control ESP

The fastest growing Industrialization in today’s world of has resulted into degradation of environmental in terms of air pollution. It is not possible physically to achieve a 100 per cent pollution free environment with industries operating. Considering the hazardous effects due to air pollution it is important to make sure that, the least pollution caused by industrial units. To achieve this effective and adequate pollution control techniques are required to implement, so that effects on the environment are minimized. The electrostatic precipitator is one of the major applications of high voltage engineering for air pollution control. It became one of the key control in get rid of harmful particulates coming out and mixing in environment from different industries. Already various research and invetstments in the area of Electro Static Precipitator is growing by looking at the key benefits resulting through the use of it. As numerous projects are in working even at this very moment all over the world, this paper a comprehensive review is attempted to focus on elements of ESP.

Linearity of Feature Extraction Techniques for Medical Images by using Scale Invariant Feature Transform

In Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition and in the field of image processing, Feature Extraction starts from an initial set of the measured data. Builds derived values are intended to be informative and non redundant, facilating the subsequent learning and in some cases leading to the better human interpretations. Feature Extraction is a dimensionally reduction process, where an initial set of raw variables has been reduced to more manageable groups. Many data analysis software packages provide for feature extraction and for dimension reduction. Determining a subset of the initial features is also known as feature extraction. Common Numerical programming environments are MATLAB, SciLab, NumPy, etc.
