Aqua Silencer

Global warming is increasing on our earth due to major increase in the pollution. Air pollution is very serious on our earth. So it is required to solve these problems by taking various serious attempts. Hence to reduce these pollutants from Exhaust of Engine a new technology is introduced called Aqua silencer. Sound produced under water is less hearable than it produced in atmosphere. This mainly because of small sprockets in water molecules, which lowers its amplitude thus, lowers the sound level. Because of this property water is used in this silencer and hence its name AQUA SILENCER.

Aqua Silencer is a modified version of a conventional silencer aimed at the reduction of toxic emission. Aqua silencer is one of the attempt taken in reduce the air pollution. It is fitted to the exhaust pipe of engine or system. These Silencers is used to reduce the noise and control the emission of dangerous gases. An aqua silencer is an attempt in this direction which is mainly dealing with control of emission and noise. . The aqua silencer system is design for replace commonly used single unit silencers in engine with its slender structure and less weight. Batta Mahesh "Aqua Silencer"

Modified Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy M-LEACH Protocol For WSN

In this work, M-LEACH Modified Distributed Energy Efficient Clustering protocol, a new variant of LEACH is proposed. The proposed M-LEACH is designed for three different segregations for the nodes to elongate the stability and lifetime of the network. Hence, it increases the heterogeneity and energy level of the network. In LEACH, amplification energy is set same for all kinds of transmissions.

Using low energy level for intra cluster transmissions with respect to cluster head to BS transmission leads in saving much amount of energy. Moreover, multi power levels also reduce the packet drop ratio, collisions and or interference for other signals. The proposed M-LEACH outperforms in all other existing LEACH variants when compared for FND, HND and LND.

An Experimental Study on Low-Calcium Flyash and Metakaolin Based Geo-Polymer Concrete

Geo-polymer concrete is known as one of environmental- friendly construction materials. Using by-product material such as flyash and metakaolin replace cement would avoid carbon dioxide CO2 emission during the manufacturing process of ordinary Portland cement OPC . The objective of his research work was to produce a carbon dioxide emission free cementious material. This paper discusses low-calcium Flyash and metakaolin based geo-polymer concrete with different proportion of binder and molarities.

The alkaline liquids used in this study for the polymerization are the solutions of Sodium hydroxide NaOH and sodium silicate Na2Sio3 . In this paper variation of source material for low-calcium Fly ash and Metakaoline and at various molarities like 10M, 12M and 14M is done to achieve compressive strength for medium grade of concrete of M-25. They are curing by oven at 600C for 24 hours then after ambient temperature. It is found that geo-polymer concrete with Metakoline and low-calcium Fly ash as increase its strength and shows good strength with increase in the molarity of the alkaline solution also comparable with that of Ordinary portland cement concrete.

Identifying the Slider-Crank Mechanism System by the MPSO Method

This paper mainly proposes an efficient modified particle swarm optimization MPSO method, to identify a slider-crank mechanism driven by a field-oriented PM synchronous motor, dynamic formulations of a slider-crank mechanism have been successfully formulated with only one independent variable. The parameters of many industrial machines are difficult to obtain if these machines cannot be taken apart. In system identification, we adopt the MPSO method to find parameters of the slider-crank mechanism. This new algorithm is added with "distance" term in the traditional PSO's fitness function to avoid converging to a local optimum.

It is found that the MPSO method can obtain optimal high-quality solution, high calculation efficiency, and its feasibility and effectiveness. Finally, the comparisons of numerical simulations and experimental results prove that the MPSO identification method for the slider-crank mechanism is feasible.

Condition Monitoring of Wear Progress in Hydrostatic Pumps

This paper represents a practical methodology for monitoring the wear in the displacement elements in hydrostatic pumps. The technique is based on appropriate signal processing of the output pressure wave which reflects the geometrical changes in the internal parts. The geometry deviates in case of wear and the degree of deviation can be spatially analyzed to gain an indicator to the wear progress. The method is effective and computationally efficient in comparison to other algorithms, for ex. wavelet transformation. The design is followed by a successful experimental validation, for a case of internal gear pump IGP.

Homogeneous Swarm Robots Exploration

Exploration process in a real application seems had attracts the interest from researchers and academics nowadays. The usage of robots rather than human themselves give many benefit in term of security and safety, also in time and energy consumption. This project aims to generate a code represent the exploration technique in an unknown environment for homogeneous multi-agents systems. In multi-agents system, there are many variable involve in the result of the exploration process.

The number of the agents, network connectivity, type of hardware, the environment and other aspects must be considered in multi-agents system exploration investigation. However, due to time constraint, this project only studies the effect of the number of robots or agents in the exploration task. The technique chose for the task must have a certain rules and assumptions to make the exploration process run smoothly and efficient.

The code has been developed by using NetLogo due to the availability of sample models and toolboxes. Recording of the data was also done through the use of NetLogo. Finally, the data is arranged by using Microsoft Excel to extract the recorded data for analysis process. The usage of Minitab software is used to plot the graph. Hopefully, this system can be used in real application with the appropriate hardware.

Investigation on the Existing Geometry of Pathein Suspension Bridge

Pathein Suspension Bridge constructed across Pathein River completed in 2004 is a single-span suspension bridge. The region has soft alluvial ground. According to 2012 bridge inspection report, Current Situation and Issues of Myanmars Bridge Work, this suspension bridge had lost a great deal of camber since completion. And also it is found that there are some problems such as movement of anchor block, tilting tower. In this study, investigations on the existing of Pathein suspension bridge are presented by using 3D laser scanner, and site surveying.

According to the investigation results, it is found that all towers are inclined towards river and the maximum inclination occurs the downstream tower of Chaungthar side. The downstream main cable sag is lower than the upstream one. Most hangers are inclined towards Pathein side and the maximum inclination degree occurs at middle portion. The existing truss profile is very different from as per drawing and all truss nodes are under the horizontal surface. Therefore seismic risk assessment and disaster mitigation plan for unexpected future severe earthquake should be developed.
