Utilizing Viola Jones with Haar Cascade Along with Neural Networks for Face Detection and Recognition

Viola– Jones object detection frameworkintroduced in 2001 by Dr. Paul Viola and Dr. Michael Jones is an object detection framework which can be trained for detecting a variety of object classes .It is primarily used for the problem of face detection. In most video recording or surveillance systems it became impossible for human beings to retrieve large image datasets and analyze them for potential results. Now a days accurate facial recognition has a great impact in our ecosystem be it face unlock or face recognition in cameras for auto adjust. Implemented in two stages our proposed methodology will first utilize one of the widely accepted methods to detect faces i.e. viola Jones which utilizes Haar Classifiers and in the second stage we will recognise the face using Principal Component Analysis PCA and Feed Forward Neural Network. Bio ID Face Database is used as a training database. Test is conducted on webcam video and image snapshots.

Evolution of Quantitative Effects of Construction Changes on Labor Productivity, Time and Cost Control Using Building Information Modeling

In spite of the fact that the development business has been advancing for quite a long time and analysts have been looking for imaginative answers for quite a long time, different difficulties actually exist for making the development cycle quicker, more secure, less expensive, and more precise. Nonetheless, it is presently accepted that Building Information Modeling BIM can prompt more noteworthy productivity through the gradual cooperation. The information in BIM framework are incredibly helpful and can be produced to streamline the task conveyance measures. Since BIM fabricates the arrangement cost and requires a significant desire to assimilate data, adventure individuals are totally stressed over the endeavor cost, forestalling the gathering of BIM for the undertaking transport. The rise of Building Information Model BIM , an elective innovation is accepted to fathom issues identified with venture cost and time control as it productively expands coordinated effort between partners. The point of this paper is to audit and sum up the reasons for deferral and cost overwhelm in development enterprises, which are the fundamental driver of debates and deserting of ventures in the business. It was discovered that postponements and cost overwhelm eat profound into the business and leave the development business with an awful picture for quite a long time even with quick headway in innovation.

Heat Transfer Characteristics of a Different Shaped Dimpled Protrusioned Pin Fin Wedge Duct for Turbine Blade using CFD

The tip of the turbine blade is exposed to gas at high temperatures and speeds. Cooling in this region has a significant impact on the safety of the turbine blade. Generally, internal convective cooling and external film cooling are simultaneously used for cooling in the blade tip region. For some turbine blades, only an internal cooling channel is used so that the cooling of the blade tip is completely dependent on internal convective cooling. In recent years, in the tip region of the turbine blade, multiple augmentation devices such as fins, ribs, pins, and dimples protrusions have gained a lot of attention to enhance heat transfer. Many computational simulations have been conducted in the meantime. The cooling performance of the blade inner tip area should be further investigated on the basis of analysis, especially when organised with a heat transfer enhancement structure. A very few studies have focused on the flow structure and heat transfer in a pin fin wedge duct with dimples protrusions. A wedge duct is explored by a numerical process in this present work, with the result of various dimples or protrusion shapes placed on the heated end wall surface. The model of a wedge duct on Workbench of ANSYS 17.0 Program, with different shapes of dimples or protrusions for turbine blade. It is observed that the Pin fin dimple wedge duct with trapezoidal dimples or protrusions form produces stronger heat transfer enhancement due to flow acceleration, increase in the region of impingement and shrinkage in the dimple of the flow recirculation field.

Analysis and Design of Pre Cast Box for Road under Bridge RUB and Road Over Bridge ROB by using STAAD Pro. and Box Pushing Technique

A level intersection or a level intersection is where a railroad line and a road meet each other at a comparative level. In the Urban locales generally the level crossing points are checked by qualified railroad staffs that screen the train advancement and close the level convergence entryway to stop the intruding road traffic yet such closing of portals prompts gridlock in roads, makes loss of time the road customers and from time to time similarly prompts a disaster. The most ideal decisions to murder the level going across are Road under Bridge RUB and Road over Bridge ROB . There are 3 essential systems for advancement of road under framework. Box pushing system, Cut and spread procedure, moving strategy using RH support. In this paper an arrangement of Road under Bridge or Subway by Box Pushing Method is presented. During that time, traffic is proceeding with overhead ordinarily, uninformed of the improvement underneath. The no risky nature of the cycle alongside its unavoidable prosperity, ease and economy make box pushing an important mechanical assembly for the practicing auxiliary fashioner. This paper intends to convey a more essential involvement in the carton pushing cycle to the peruser and subsequently give a couple of considerations and rules to help engineers in arranging an endeavor that can be collected using the holder pushing methodology. Box pushing is a settled strategies for planning conduits or entries under rail banks or streams to oblige road or rail traffic.

Development of an Equation to Estimate the Monthly Rainfall A Case Study for Catarman, Northern Samar, Philippines

This study aimed to derived an equation to estimate the monthly rainfall for Catarman, Northern Samar. The observed monthly rainfall data for Catarman N. Samar, Catbalogan Samar, Legazpi City and Masbate were obtained from the Philippine Atmospheric Geographical Astronomical Services Administration PAGASA . The monthly rainfall records of the three 3 neighboring stations Catbalogan, Legazpi, Masbate were used to identify which of the existing rainfall prediction methods, namely, Normal Ratio Method, Distance Power Method and Multi Linear Regression Method is the basis in the development of a new equation. The accuracy by which the existing methods predict the observed monthly rainfall in Catarman was evaluated using T test for correlated samples and the Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient. Since none of the methods produced estimates nearest to the observed monthly rainfall in Catarman, an equation has been derived Celeste A.

Cascaded Multiport Converter for SRM Based Hybrid Electrical Vehicle

This article about a cascaded multiport switched reluctance motor SRM drive for hybrid electric vehicle HEV , which gives two performances first thing flexible energy conversion among the generator ac grid, the battery bank, solar panel and the motor, second achieves battery management BM function for state of charge SOC balance control and bus voltage regulation. SRM accelerate the excitation and demagnetization processes during the commutation region, extend the speed range, reduce the voltage stress on the switches, and improve the torque capability and system efficiency by integrating the battery packs into the AHB converter, the cascaded BM modules are designed to configure multilevel bus voltage and current capacity for SRM drive. It includes different operation requirements like the multiple driving modes, regenerative braking modes, and charging modes. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed cascaded multiport SRM drive are verified by the simulation experiment on a three phase SRM.

Control and Monitoring of Hydro Power Plants A Review

In hydro power plants there is a main interest for the implementation of digital systems for control and monitoring replacing the conventional control systems for power, speed and voltage. As a result it is indispensable to build up mathematical models accomplished to accurately describe both dynamic and stationary behavior of the hydro plants, in order to be able to execute digital control algorithms. A significant development in stability of the system has been observed. This paper presents the comparison of simulation and modeling of the hydro power plants and performs of different control structures and algorithms.
