Improvement of a Radon Counter Sensitivity Using High-Voltage Ion Chamber

Radon is an invisible, odorless, and chemically inactive radioactive gas produced by the decay of uranium ore. Various types of equipment and components have been proposed for use in effective radon detection. In this paper, we used a radon counter with a PIN photodiode radon-sensor module. Using electrostatic collection and the PIN photodiode, a high sensitivity radon detector for air has been developed. The calibration system has also been developed using a linear regression analysis technique.

Automatic Gemstone Setting Machine in Jewels

Because of increment utilizing of mechanical robot arms, an advancement to that theme started attempting to emulate human developments in a detail mode. For instance a gathering of understudies in Korea made an outline of development that mechanical arm assess moving hand, weight lifting, chine's calligraphy composing and shading arrangement.

Another gathering of designers at USA create eight level of flexibility robotic arm. This robot can get a handle on numerous articles with a great deal of shapes from a pen to a ball and reproducing likewise the hand of person. In space, the space, carry remote controller framework, known as SSRMS or Canadair, and its successor is case of multi level of opportunity robot arm that have been utilized to play out an assortment of assignments, for example, review of the bus utilizing a uniquely conveyed blast with cameras and sensors joined toward the end effectors.

In this venture we utilize a mechanical arm to pick and place the gemstone in the gems. The possibility of the venture is to build up a moderate machine to make the gemstone setting process in gems simple. The target can be accomplished by actualizing the Independent Robot setup (3-arrange Pivot) to PICK and PLACE the gemstone into the decorations in a predefined position. A sensor is utilized to recognize the area of the gap where the stone is to be put in the trimming.

And after that stone is come to that pre characterized position utilizing an automated arm which is accomplished by a small scale controller. The fundamental intention of the framework is to keep away from the breakage of stone and also the adornments. The framework will lessen the human effort and give a high accurate finishing to the adornments at less cost &time.

Thermal Imaging based Search Operation using Drone

In current scenario, if any person is trapped under the damaged building then the only way to identify its position is to search in the pile of concrete. This process is time consuming and chances of finding the body in short period of time are less. So to reduce the risk of life, we can use thermal sensors which can detect the position of the body with the help of energy wave radiated by it. In this paper, we will be able to detect the location of trapped body easily and risk of losing life will reduce.

Prototype of Automatic Fan

Sensors are used to detect the different parameters which are used to improve the performance of any system. In market, different types of sensors are available which have their own specified functions. In this project, Infrared Radiation sensors are used to detect the human body and with the help of this input, table fan orientation is made automatic.

Comparison Study Between Hydrogen Palladium Sensor and Hydrogen Manganese Dioxide Sensor

This research work oriented to compares between Palladium (Pd) thin films sensor that have been prepared on glass substrates and hydrogen sensor using optical ?ber, coated with Manganese dioxide (MnO2) nanostructures. Palladium thin films prepared by vaporization deposition technique with annealing temperature around 600C0.

Where, manganese dioxide, prepared on Optical Multimode Fiber (MMF)of 125m in diameter as the transducing platform was tapered to 20m to enhance the evanescent ?eld of the light propagates in the ?ber core. The optical characteristics of the prepared films showed that they are highly sensitive, but their properties considerably vary when the measurements conducted in vacuum or in air.

The response-recovery time of Pd materials to hydrogen gas is characterized to be extremely short. The tapered optical ?ber coated with Pd/MnO2 nanograins was found to be sensitive towards hydrogen with different concentrations in synthetic air at 240-°C operating temperature.

The annealed sensor showed higher response and sensitivity compared with the as-prepared sensors when measured in the visible to near infrared optical wavelength range. The absorbance response of the annealed Pd/MnO2 on ?ber has increased to 65% compared to 20% for the as-prepared Pd/MnO2 upon exposure to 1% Hydrogenin synthetic air.

Simulation based Performance Analysis of Histogram Shifting Method on Various Cover Images

In this paper we have simulated and analyzed histogram shifting method on different types of cover images. Secret image which is used to hide in cover image is called payload. We have analyzed this algorithm in MATLAB simulation tool. This analysis is performed to find out the performance of this method on different types of cover images. We have analyzed this to find out how much accuracy can we get when extracting payload from cover image. We have computed peak signal to noise ratio, mean square error.

Review Paper on Improved Exhaust Emission Control by The Use of Cu-Zeolite Catalyst Based Catalytic Converter

In the present time, the automobiles running on the roads have drastically increased in number due to the advancement in the sector with low cost to offer to the people. Though this has made the life sophisticated as well as has made our life easier in terms of travelling and transportation, this has dragged us towards a major issue regarding the pollution it causes to the atmosphere. The compression ignition engine that are used in the vehicles produces a large amount of obnoxious gases like NOX, HC, CO, etc.

The existing catalytic converter that is used in order to convert this harmful gases are not meeting the demands of euro 6 emission standards as well as they are inadequate to work in very high temperature. In order overcome this issue and make the system more efficient, the existing catalytic converter's ceramic structure can be modified by applying a wash coat of Cu-Zeolite catalyst to it which results in lower NOX emission even at high exhaust temperature.
