Adversarial Multi Scale Features Learning for Person Re Identification

Person re identification Re ID is the task of matching a target person across different cameras, which has drawn extensive attention in computer vision and has become an essential component in the video surveillance system. Pried can be considered as a problem of image retrieval. Existing person re identification methods depend mostly on single scale appearance information. In this work, to address issues, we demonstrate the benefits of a deep model with Multi scale Feature Representation Learning MFRL using Convolutional Neural Networks CNN and Random Batch Feature Mask RBFM is proposed for pre id in this study. The RBFM is enlightened by the drop block and Batch Drop Block BDB dropout based approaches. However, great challenges are being faced in the pre id task. First, in different scenarios, appearance of the same pedestrian changes dramatically by reason of the body misalignment frequently, various background clutters, large variations of camera views and occlusion. Second, in a public space, different pedestrians wear the same or similar clothes. Therefore, the distinctions between different pedestrian images are subtle. These make the topic of pre id a huge challenge. The proposed methods are only performed in the training phase and discarded in the testing phase, thus, enhancing the effectiveness of the model. Our model achieves the state of the art on the popular benchmark datasets including Market 1501, duke mtmc re id and CUHK03. Besides, we conduct a set of ablation experiments to verify the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Experimental Assessment of the Effect of Paper Waste on Improvement of Concrete Behavior

India is facing a significant challenge in disposing the waste in landfills throughout the country. The landfill disposal is leading to high disposal costs and potential environmental problems. If the current trend continues, waste production will grow by 5 each year, which will ultimately result in a saturated capacity of landfills by 2020. The use of paper industry waste in concrete formulations was investigated as an alternate to landfill disposal. The cement has been replaced by paper sludge accordingly within the range of fifty to fifteen by weight for the M 20 mix. By using an adequate amount of paper and water, concrete mixtures were produced and compared in terms of slump and strength with the traditional concrete. The concrete specimens were tested for compressive strength. These tests were administered to judge the mechanical properties for up to twenty eight days. As a result, the compressive increased up to 5 addition of paper waste and further increased in waste paper reduces the strengths gradually. The research on the use of paper waste can be further carried out in concrete manufacturing as a new recycled material.

A Review Paper on AWS Product and Services

AWS is a cloud service provider that manages and maintains the technology infrastructure in a secure environment so the customer can access the cloud resources. The AWS service is provided by the Amazon that uses distributed IT infrastructure to provide different IT resources available on demand. It provides different services such as infrastructure as a service IaaS , platform as a service PaaS and packaged software as a service SaaS . It is a cloud computing platform which is globally available. A large enterprise spread across the globe can utilize the AWS to deliver the training to the distributed workforce. APN is a global partner program that helps partners use the AWS to build their businesses.

Study on Recycled Aggregate Concrete

In the last decade, the volume of construction waste has risen significantly and social and environmental issues around waste recycling have also been increased. Many analysts contend that recycled concrete aggregates RCAs are mainly useful for non structural concrete purposes. However, this study reveals that the recycled aggregates obtained from concrete collections have good quality concrete. Baton waste from the collapsing structure has been treated and a vast variety of various concentrations are used for the preparation of fresh concrete. Recycled and renewable buildings Waste has long been known to recover manufacturing renewable energy and energy. Among some, gross output is missing. The usage of recycled aggregates decreases the quality of recycled aggregate concrete, which limits its use. Various surface treatment methods were tested to improve the quality of the recycled gross aggregate, such as the purification of the recycled aggregates by water and diluted acid. The pressure characteristics of the refined and untreated field aggregate is contrasted. The results revealed that the tensile strength of the recycled aggregate was compressive, bent and crack less than the natural aggregate.

Methods of Plant Propagation Sexual and Vegetative

The fruit plants are propagated by two main methods, namely, sexual method and asexual method. Most of the fruit plants do not produce seedlings true to type. Using the asexual method of propagation the fruit plants produce true to type clones of the parent plant. Moreover, these plants also produce uniform yield, fruit size and quality. Although seedling plants produce heavy crop, the fruit size and quality is inferior and do not fetch good return in market. The seedling plants for several fruit crops have long juvenile period and have more vigorous growth habit, which creates difficulty in taking plant protection measures and harvesting of fruits. The fruits of seedling plants do not mature in one stroke and hence, affect the marketing. The asexual methods of plant propagation are of the four types, Cutting, Layering, Budding and Grafting. In this communication we present review on the Sexual method of propagation Seed along with all the asexual or vegetative methods like, Cutting, Layering, Budding and Grafting methods of plant propagation. The cutting method includes root, stem, scion and leaf cutting methods of vegetative propagation. The layering method category encompasses the Natural, Simple, Tip, Compound or Serpentine, Trench, Mound and Air layering methods. The budding method of the asexual propagation includes, T Shield, Inverted T Shield, Chip, I, Patch, Forkert, Flute and Ring Annular Budding methods.

Design, Development, and Performance Evaluation of a Mechanical Device for Harvesting Pineapple

Pineapple Ananas comosus in family Bromeliaceaeis a large, succulent, and tasty fruit with immense health benefits. Among all the cultivation activities of pineapple, harvesting is the most difficult, time consuming, and energy intensive process due to the higher plant density and spiny leaves of pineapple plants. Although, mechanization helps to increase the efficiency and post harvest quality, very little attention has been drawn to the mechanization of the harvesting process. Therefore, the aim of this study was to introduce an efficient mechanical method for harvesting to overcome the practical problems associated with manual harvesting. The major concept of this is to harvest more fruits from one place by minimizing movement in the cultivation. The long handle, fruit picker, stalk holder, cutter, and operating levers are the major components of this device. The remotely operated cutter and fruit gripper are fixed in one end of the 2m long handle and operating levers are attached to other end so that all the fruits within a nearly 2m radius circular area can be harvested from a one place. The performance of the mechanical harvester was evaluated compared to the manual method at a pineapple field in Kurunegala district of Sri Lanka. The Actual harvesting capacity of the device was 385 fruits h 1with 84 efficiency while the manual method recorded it as 210 fruitsh 1 with 64 efficiency when it is operated by males in double row cultivation systems. Results clearly showed that the mechanical method saves more time considerably than the manual method.

Significance of Basic Design Elements in Spatial and Cultural Environment of Built Forms

Built form in any Organization carries the essence of any design and doing nothing is also a form of design. Elements of Design needs to be carefully studied and applied to creation of any space. Design sometimes suffers from a dilemma about its identity. It is not solely either an art or a science but is a combination of both. Applied design is not like physics or biology or writing or painting, but it involves these areas and more. Design tends towards a generalized approach, collecting specifics from diverse areas as needed. Design is a combination of art, science, technology and intuition. Design does contain sound proven principals and criteria for judging its success. It is a combination of ideas, methods, deliverables, forms, functions and appearance. These criteria centre on the relationship between human needs and human environmental possible. The measure of the success of a particular applied design is how well it meets the needs of the people experiencing it. This paper discuss about the elements of design and the techniques used to incorporate them in ideal spatial creation. Balance and Positive combinations of form and functions
