Significance of Basic Design Elements in Spatial and Cultural Environment of Built Forms

Built form in any Organization carries the essence of any design and doing nothing is also a form of design. Elements of Design needs to be carefully studied and applied to creation of any space. Design sometimes suffers from a dilemma about its identity. It is not solely either an art or a science but is a combination of both. Applied design is not like physics or biology or writing or painting, but it involves these areas and more. Design tends towards a generalized approach, collecting specifics from diverse areas as needed. Design is a combination of art, science, technology and intuition. Design does contain sound proven principals and criteria for judging its success. It is a combination of ideas, methods, deliverables, forms, functions and appearance. These criteria centre on the relationship between human needs and human environmental possible. The measure of the success of a particular applied design is how well it meets the needs of the people experiencing it. This paper discuss about the elements of design and the techniques used to incorporate them in ideal spatial creation. Balance and Positive combinations of form and functions

Strategies for Development of Peri Urban Areas in a Developing Country A Case Study of Bhubaneswar

The world is experiencing a new phenomena – peri urbanism. As the population is increasing and cities are infrastructurally upgraded, there has been a gradual shift of the urban population from the more developed regions to the less developed ones, aimed at availing free open spaces to live, grow and setting up new communities. This movement of urban population in large numbers has led to formation of peri urban spaces. With no such boundary to define the peri urban spaces, these areas are the outskirts of the urban centres which are to be explored. A detailed understanding about the dynamics of urbanisation is necessary for coping with the negative effects poised by urban sprawling on the peri urban areas. Being designated as one of the first smart city of India, Bhubaneswar city is experiencing formation of urban sprawls around the major urban nodes. In order to further examine the need for policy formulation, a detailed study has been done to understand the demographic, economic and social profile of the inhabitants residing within the fringe areas of Bhubaneswar. The emperical approach of the paper is based on the study of the infrastructure and development issues of the area using remote sensing and GIS techniques. The final findings of the study includes the issues, problems and recommendations to be applicable for a planned and controlled development in the peri urban areas of Bhubaneswar.

An AI Based ATM Intelligent Security System using Open CV and YOLO

Nowadays most of the surveillance cameras in ATM doesn’t record with detail for analysis of incidents. Due to this most of the ATM cases gets unsolved. In this paper a system to improve ATM security is proposed. The proposed system deals with the development of a application using Open CV, YOLO and AI for automation of video surveillance in ATM machines and detect any type of potential criminal activities that might be arising.

A Review on Salesforce Integration

Nowadays Salesforce is one of the world’s leading customer relationship management CRM programs. It helps to manage customers, sales and service in one platform and salesforce provides many automation and reporting tools. Salesforce Integration is the process of connecting Salesforce.com to other 3rd party external systems and applications like Facebook, LinkedIn, Gmail, Outlook, Hub Soft, Heroku, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, WordPress CMS and external websites. The Salesforce API is as vast as deep blue sea because it uses an API first approach for building features on the Salesforce platform. API first means to build a robust API before designing its UI. This approach provides the flexibility to mold the data in whatever format required. Appropriate Salesforce Integration allows enough access and also allows the analysis of information. A Salesforce Integration solution is a software that puts together and oversees correspondence between Salesforce CRM and distinct frameworks, utilizing APIs to decode messages that systems exchange. The decision of a Salesforce integration pattern depends upon the number of frameworks to incorporate and their particulars, as well as the number of integration levels to enfold.

Accessories of Design

Elements of Design needs to be carefully studied and applied to creation of any space. Design sometimes suffers from a dilemma about combination of Art and its appreciation elements of Design. Light in a house not solely either an art or a science but is a combination of both. Applied design is not like physics or biology or writing or painting, but it involves these areas and more. Design tends towards a generalized approach, collecting specifics from diverse areas as needed. Design is a combination of art, science, technology and intuition. Composition of rhythm Balance, Contrast and light in a built space plays an important role in the functioning and feeling of an space. Apart from the basic design elements there is always an added feature associated with the design and it is termed as accessories. This added feature may be a kind of light. Colour, shade, Proportion, Shape or anything else added which elaborates the whoe design and makes it’s a unique combination of Aesthetics and utility. Lustrous, Luminous, rendered and graphical applications to basic deisgn create a balance and harmony within the space and its surrounding. This paper discuss about the Visual element of design as an accessory in accordance with luminance and Lustrous element which when added make the Design different from the others. and the techniques used to incorporate them in ideal spatial creation. Structural Balance Theory Based Recommendation for Social Service Portal

There is enormous data present in our world. Therefore in order to access the most accurate information is becoming more difficult and complicated. As a result many relevant information gets missed which leads to much duplication of work and effort. Due to the huge search results, the user will generally have difficulty in identifying the relevant ones. To solve this problem, a recommendation system is used. A recommendation system is nothing but a filtering information system, which is used to predict the relevance of retrieved information according to the user’s needs for some criteria. Hence, it can provide the user with the results that best fit their needs. The services provided through the web normally provide huge records about any requested item or service. A proper recommendation system is used to separate this information result. A recommendation system can be improved further if supported with a level of trust information. That is, recommendations are prioritized according to their level of trust. Recommending appropriate needs social service to the target volunteers will become the key to ensure continuous success of social service. Today, many social service systems does not adopt any recommendation techniques. They provide advertisement or highlights request for a small commission.

Low Cost Temperature and Humidity Estimator with Atmega8 Microcontroller

This paper presents a efficient but also cost effective system to determine two parameters of the atmosphere, which are the temperature and humidity. The Digital Temperature and Humidity Sensor 22 DHT 22 is used to measure the temperature and humidity. The temperature measured is the ambient temperature of the atmosphere and humidity is the relative humidity of the atmosphere. The system is constructed with AVR atmega8 as a controller and a LCD liquid crystal display 16x2 display as a means to display the temperature and humidity. Through the Arduino IDE Integrated Development Environment code Is uploaded to the ATmega8. Also as the display is operated in 4 bit mode thus there are many pins of the ATmega8 which are available for other purposes and the system becomes compact. Thus the small device can be adjusted in different places for use. As it is using a ATmega8 it can be used to command various devices as temperature and humidity varies.
