A Review on Optimization Techniques for Power Quality Improvement using DSTATCOM Neural Network Approach

As demand for electricity has risen exponentially, power production and transmission are affected by scarce energy, environmental constraints and other losses. Soft computing methods to fix the sag, swell and disruption of the supply voltage in the distributed device. At present, a broad variety of highly versatile controls that leverage on newly available power electronics components are evolving for custom power applications. Control electronic equipment intended to improve the stability and efficiency of electricity flows in low voltage distribution networks. The control algorithm is used to derive the fundamental weighted value of the active and reactive power components. Using a digital signal processor, DSTATCOM is built and its output as a DSTATCOM is found to be satisfactory for different types of loads.

Development of Neuro Fuzzy Based Temperature Control for Egg Hatchery

Neuro fuzzy have been successfully applied to extract knowledge from data in the form of fuzzy rules. This project describes the development of Adaptive Neuro fuzzy system applied to the temperature variable of a thermal system with a range of 35 to 40°C for Egg Hatchery control. The system developed was based on heat transfer based on the principle of radiation to actualize the system. The generation of membership function is a challenging problem for fuzzy systems and the response of fuzzy systems depends mainly on the membership functions. The ANFIS based input output model is used to tune the membership functions in neuro fuzzy system. Experimental results were determiner. Processing the membership function the ANFIS was trained, tested and validated. The neuro fuzzy controller used the neural network learning techniques to tune the membership functions while keeping the semantics of the fuzzy logic controller intact. Both the architecture and the learning algorithm are presented for a general neuro fuzzy controller. In conclusion, a resulting effective system temperature control with energy conservation up to 100 eggs was achieved. The developed system finds application in egg incubation system industry.

Partial Replacement on Cement with Flyash and Cowdung Ash

The usage of cement in concrete is rising day by day. Cement is mostly used in Civil Engineering filed due to the infra structures development and urbanization. The production of cement is emitting the carbon dioxide and effect the environmental problem like global warming, etc. The way to reduce carbon dioxide in cement by the waste material. The fly ash is massive waste disposal in power plants. Cow dung is a used for fuel in domestic proposes like cooking, etc. In current year’s engineers has start using the waste materials in structural component and decrease the rate of concrete. This material is under the category of eco friendly green materials under the carbon foot print and continuous alternate grow without harming the environment. The paper is revealed that the fly ash and cow dung is particle replaced with cement in concrete. The cubes are prepared by the dimension of 150 150 150 mm and M25 grade of concrete are used. The cubes are cure under the period of 7 days, 14days and 28 day. The cubes are tested through the compression testing machine.

Analysis and Simulation of Asynchronous Machine Connected with Load Accomplished with Chopper Control and PWM Based Inverter

This paper presents the simulation analysis of pulse width modulation based induction motor drive. The main objective of this paper is analysis of asynchronous machine with PWM fed inverter and harmonic analysis of active and reactive power as well as voltage and current. Space vector pulse width modulation technique is used in various industrial applications. Variation in voltage and frequency supply to ac drives is produced from a voltage source inverter and space vector PWM is used frequently now a day due to their easy understanding. This work is based on a SVPWM based induction motor based on space vector theory. The simulation is done on MATLAB software and the simulation results obtained and analyzed.

Online Voting System

In the present pandemic situation, the normal voting method may become dangerous for the lives of voters. So, the online voting method may be a better alternative to conduct elections. As a matter of fact, the online voting method can be developed as a website. Online voting system that facilitates user voter , candidate and administrator who will be in charge and will verify all the user and information to participate in online voting. our online voting system is highly secured, and it has a simple and interactive user interface. The proposed online portal is secured and have unique security feature such as unique id generation that adds another layer of security except login id and password and gives admin the ability to verify the user information and to decide whether he is eligible to vote or not. It also creates and manages voting and an election detail as all the users must login by user name and password and click on candidates to register vote. Our system is also equipped with a chat bot that works as a support or guide to the voters, this helps the users in the voting process.

Experimental Investigation on Performance and Exhaust Emissions of a Diesel Engine Fueled With Palm Oil Shea Butter Oil Blends Biodiesels

In this study, experimental investigations on the performance and exhaust emissions of a diesel engine was carried out using Palm oil Shea butter oil biodiesel as fuel. The two vegetable oils, Shea butter SB and Palm oil PO were blended in the proportion 25 75 , 50 50 , and 75 25 v v. The transesterification of the blended oils were carried out using ethanol, with potassium hydroxide as catalyst. The chemo physical properties of the biodiesels produced were determined experimentally and compared with that of petroleum diesel. Engine performance and emission test were conducted using the engine test bed with the instrumentation unit, emission gas analyzer, and the produced biodiesels as fuel. From the results, it was observed that, the petroleum diesel recorded the highest torque, while biodiesels recorded reduced values of torque at all the loads with the 100 SB and 75 SB 25 PO biodiesels both recorded the same values of torque at all the loads. The 100 SB biodiesel recorded the highest exhaust temperature, while the petroleum diesel recorded the lowest exhaust temperature at all the loads. Exhaust gas temperature increase as the load increases. Biodiesels showed reduced brake power as compared to petroleum diesel, but the 100 SB and 75 SB 25 PO both recorded the highest brake power among the biodiesels at all the loads. Biodiesels recorded higher values of BSFC as compared to petroleum diesel, with the 25 SB 75 PO biodiesel having the highest BSFC at all the loads. The brake thermal efficiency BTE of the petroleum diesel was highest as compared to biodiesels at all the loads. The 25 SB 75 PO and 100 PO biodiesels both recorded the least carbon monoxide CO emissions, and CO emissions decreases with increase in loads. The petroleum diesel recorded the highest CO emissions for all the three loads. The carbon dioxide CO2 emissions increases with increase in loads, with the petroleum diesel recording the least CO2 emissions at all the loads. The petroleum diesel showed increased hydrocarbon HC emissions for all the loads, while the 25 SB 75 PO and 100 PO biodiesels recorded the least HC emission. The 100 SB biodiesel recorded the highest NOx emissions, while the petroleum diesel recorded the least NOx emissions at all the loads. Thus, the 25 SB 75 PO and 75 SB 25 PO with improved engine performance and reduced emissions is suitable for use in diesel engine without engine modification.
