Comparison of Cooling Load Calculations by using Theoretical Analysis and E 20 Software for Aesthetic Clinic with Time Series

This paper provides the calculating of cooling load by using not only theoretical analysis and cooling load software E 20 for aesthetic clinic. According to the surveys and measurement, the materials used for this clinic are roof with steel sheet without insulation but with finished ceiling, 10 cm thickness single clear glass with interior curtain shades and wall with 10 cm common brick with 2.5 cm insulation are used. According to the theoretical analysis, the clinic required 124.53 KW while required 131 KW based on E 20 software. The values difference between theoretical analysis and E 20 software for this clinic is 5 .

Solar Wind Hybrid Generation System Integration with Grid

Wind and solar energy are becoming popular owing to the abundance, availability and ease of harnessing the energy for electrical power generation. This paper focuses on an integrated hybrid renewable energy system consisting of wind and solar energies. Grid tied power generation systems make use of solar PV or wind turbines to produce electricity and supply the load by connecting to the grid. In this study, the HOMER Hybrid Optimization Model for Electric Renewable MATLAB modeling has been used to model the power system, its physical behavior and its life cycle cost. Through the use of simulations, the installation of ten 2 MW wind turbines and 2.5 MW solar PV was evaluated.

Performance Analysis and Comparison of Transmission Line Varying the Capacitor Value with PI and PID Controllers using TCSC

In this paper, performance analysis of transmission line 11 KV with thyristor controlled series capacitor providing stability and power enhancement under the application of PI and PID controllers is compared after varying the capacitance of transmission line capacitor. Simulation results of uncompensated and also for compensated transmission line of 11 KV are compared with PI and PID controllers working with the transmission line system for improving the real power as well as reactive power in the supportive MATLAB environment self tuning is applied through MATLAB PID TUNER for both PID and PI controllers.

Introduction to Shifting Solution Synchronizer

The Synchronizer is a part of synchromesh manual transmission that allows the smooth engagement of the gears. Synchronizer is a kind of clutch that allows the component turning at different speeds to synchronize their speeds using cone friction. The main function of the Synchronizer is synchronizing the speeds of the components and preventing the engagement of the gears until synchronization is achieved.

Diabetic Retinopathy Detection System from Retinal Images

Diabetes Mellitus is a disorder in metabolism of carbohydrates, and due to lack of the pancreatic hormone insulin sugars in the body are not oxidized to produce energy. Diabetic Retinopathy is a disorder of the retina resulting in impairment or vision loss. Improper blood sugar control is the main cause of diabetic retinopathy. That is the reason why early detection of retinopathy is crucial to prevent vision loss. Appearance of exudates, microaneurysms and hemorrhages are the early indications. In this study, we propose an algorithm for detection and classification of diabetic retinopathy. The proposed algorithm is based on the combination of various image processing techniques, which includes Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization, Green channelization, Filtering and Thresholding. The objective measurements such as homogeneity, entropy, contrast, energy, dissimilarity, asm, correlation, mean and standard deviation are computed from processed images. These measurements are finally fed to Support Vector Machine and k Nearest Neighbors classifiers for classification and their results were analysed and compared.

Synchronization and Reactive Current Support of PMSG Based Wind Farm during Severe Grid Fault

Grid codes require wind farm to remain on grid and inject specific reactive current when grid fault occurs. To satisfy the requirements, reactive power devices such as the static synchronous compensator STATCOM are usually used in modern wind farms. In order to produce reactive currents, the wind energy generation system WECS and the STATCOM are normally controlled with the phase locked loop PLL oriented vector control methods. The paper is about synchronization and reactive current support of PMSG.

A Detailed Investigation and Testing of Grid Voltage Oriented Sliding Mode Control for DFIG Doubly Fed Induction Generator

Doubly Fed Induction mills DFIGs are widely utilized in variable velocity wind mills in spite of the nicely frequent overall performance of DFIGs, those mills are particularly realistic to grid faults. Therefore, the presence of grid faults ought to be taken into consideration inside the layout of any manage device to be deployed on DFIGs. Sliding Mode manage SMC is a beneficial alternative for electric powered equipment manipulate because SMC offers rapid dynamic reaction and less sensitivity to parameter versions and disturbances.
