Burnout Syndrome, Shift Work Disorder, Work Rumination and Quality of Work Life among Nursing A Valuable Staff

Nursing is a profession within health care sector, focused on the care of individuals, families, and communities so that they may attain, maintain, or recover optimal health and quality of life. Nurses play a pivotal role in the health care system. Today, nursing profession is facing numerous challenges, leading to poor quality of nursing care delivery to patients. In an attempt to look into this problem, this study considers the following concepts

New Design Criteria in Performance Based Earthquake Engineering

In order to increase the resistance of the building against earthquake effect in performance based design, the main objective is to select a performance target as design criteria and to design the structure to meet this target. In the nonlinear analysis with finite element method, the formation of the plastic hinge can lead to great potential damage to the building, so they are one of the basic data to determine the state of the building. Accordingly, if the number of plastic hinges in the building is increased, the total horizontal load carrying capacity of the structure increases proportionally. Theoretically, when the structure of plane frame bearing system reaches a plus value of the degree of indeterminacy of the structure, the structure will reach the capacity to bear the largest final horizontal load. For this reason, in this study, in addition to the current design criteria in the relevant codes, it is aimed to increase the structure to the maximum load carrying capacity level by adding the new criterion “to increase the number of plastic hinges to be formed in the structure as much as possible and to keep the structure below its targeted performance by code”. As a result of the studies conducted according to the new performance criteria presented, the load bearing capacity of the frame bearing system has increased by 50 compared to the current code results.

Microcontroller Based High Voltage Low Voltage Protection System

This paper presents methods for estimation and autonomous control of voltage which is done by an unmanned microcontroller based protection system with thermistor. It used to check temperature along with voltage protection. The transformer used is copper cored and it works only on alternating current source. The thermistor is used to detect the temperature in case of overheating or fire problems.GPS module is also used to aware the owner of the system by sending the text message on phone in case of detection of any unusual activity. Such as low voltage, high voltage, high temperature. The main challenge is to make a sequence of codes for proper functioning.

Effect of Twisted Tape Insert on Heat Transfer Enhancement in Counter Flow Co Axial Double Pipe Heat Exchanger using CFD

The twisted tape has great potential as a device for enhancing heat transfer. Twisted tapes hold the advantage over other techniques as they ease of installation and operation. From the previous studies, it is also found that there were rare researches on a combination of twisted tape insert and nanofluids. Therefore, the scope of the present study is concerned with the enhancement of the double pipe heat exchanger performance through twisted tape insert. To achieve these aims, a numerical model was constructed in order to investigate the effect of twisted tape on the heat transfer coefficient. This study investigates the heat transfer characteristics of Counter flow co axial double pipe heat exchanger using Al2O3 water nanofluids by inserting twisted tape turbulator of pitch 25mm inside the inner tube. The Al2O3 water nanofluids 0.4 1.6 particle volume concentrations were used. The simulation were conducted under the turbulent flow in the Reynold’s number range of 4000 Re 20000. It is found that from the computational outcomes, the heat exchanger with twisted tape insert unveiled the best Nusselt number of 487.24 at Re=20,000 at 1.6 vol. of nanoparticle. By comparison, the Nusselt number of double pipe heat exchanger with twisted tape insert is 8.27 higher than with wire coil insert.

Experimental Approach to IoT Based Secure Online Voting System using Raspberry PI and Extended Facilities with Arduino UNO

Electronic voting machine has developed and used in many countries all over world, India is one of them who has world’s largest democracy. Some politician takes advantage of electronic voting machine to submit vote on behalf of absent people or died peoples. This is the most important and controversial topic in India. Most of the people doesn’t have a faith on EVM machine and Opponent parties in India still having issue with EVM. Recently in India during Loksabha election 2019 election commission of India started using VVPAT to synchronize votes. But still some opponents have doubt on Electronic voting machine and VVPAT too. So all opponent parties are requesting to conduct a election on ballot paper which is easy to vote but hard to count and time consuming system. Hence we try to overcome some disadvantage of EVM by introducing Advance Electronic voting machine to avoid bogus and fake voting. This advance Electronic voting machine is IoT Internet of Things based machine which is directly linked with Governments servers to access and compare voters valid data. This project is designed for integrating Electronic Voting Machine with the data of the voter as in the Aadhar.

A Research on Affordable Housing

The need for achieving sustainability in social housing has been widely acknowledged in the literature and society in general. Housing problems occur both in rich and poor communities across the planet. The target of this research is to review housing problems which cause unwholesome environmental conditions. The tactic used could also be a review of educational articles, textbooks, internet materials, news articles and publicly available materials on housing problems. Onward taking up any work for its execution, the owner or builder should have a thorough knowledge about the volume of work that can be completed within the limits of his funds or the probable cost that may be required to complete the proposed work. It is hereby necessary to modulate the probable cost or estimate for the proposed work from its plan and specification. Otherwise, it may happen that the work has to be stopped in the middle of construction due to shortage of funds or materials. At present there is plenty of cost effective technology which can be used for construction of affordable houses at large scales. But due to lack of their technical knowledge, they are still not in use. In future with the increase of their technical aspect, these technologies can be used for mass construction of affordable housing projects in India for the poor and needy.

Fabrication and Study the Effect of Mechanical Properties of Coconut Shell Powder and Rice Husk

In this present work experimental investigation has been carried out to fabricate and study the effect of CSP and Rice husk powder at different weight percentages 30, 40 and 50 with epoxy resin. An epoxy resin has very good electrical insulation properties and outstanding mechanical strength including tensile and flexural. The composite material is fabricated by using hand lay up method. Then the composite material is tested on universal testing machine UTM for tensile strength. The addition of CSP and Rice husk powder weight percentage has improves the mechanical properties. it is observed that the strength of the composite material is increased with the increase in the CSP and Rice husk powder content in epoxy matrix.
