Mechanical Energy Harvesting using Piezo Triboelectric Nanogenerator

As there is a rapid growth of portable electronic gadgets, sustainable energy sources for these devices become indispensable. The possibility to power them by energy harvested from renewable sources have to be found. Triboelectric nanogenerators are the most viable solution to harvest energy from low frequency mechanical motions. A TENG is an energy harvesting device that converts external mechanical energy into electricity by a conjunction of contact electrification and electrostatic induction and this electricity is used to power our electronic gadgets wirelessly by using wireless module and piezoelectric nanogenerators also do the same on applying the pressure. This device opens a new horizons for ways to produce and store wasted energy from our surroundings and in a near future to power wireless sensors and electronic gadgets using hybrid piezo triboelectric nanogenerators.

An Automatic Load Controller for Domestic Applications

This paper presents a system to avoid the procedure of load shedding. Here the relation with frequency and power is utilized. A system of automatic controlling of devices which will help us to save the power to a greater extend is proposed here. For each device connected to the system, a cutoff frequency is fixed. When the frequency of the power supply goes below this cutoff frequency, the particular device will be automatically turned off and the device will return to its normal operating condition when the frequency reaches its normal value.

Assessment for Water Quality of Mutha River using Correlation

river is a natural flowing watercourse, usually freshwater, flowing towards an ocean, sea. Mula Mutha river is one of the major river of Pune city. Mula originates from Mulshi dam and it passes through Poud, Lavasa, Wakad, Balewadi, Baner, Aundh, Khadki, Vishrantwadi, and ends at Sangamwadi. Monitoring of river involves comparison of water quality data between stations, analysis of water quality trends, development of cause effect relationships between water quality data and environmental data. Present work deals with the analysis of physico chemical parameters of Mutha river i.e from Khadakwasla Dam to Sangam Bridge. Water samples are collected from four locations. Water quality assessment is carried out by "correlation coefficient r "is determined using "correlation matrix" to identify the highly correlated and interrelated water quality parameters. The study involves certain physico chemical parameters such as dam pH, Turbidity, Electrical Conductivity, Hardness, Alkalinity, BOD, COD, TDS and correlation between them.

Power Quality Improvement using Shunt Active Power Filter with PI and PID Controller

Problems caused by power quality have great adverse economical impact on the utilities and customers. Current harmonics are one of the most common power quality problems and are usually resolved by the use of shunt passive or active lters. In this paper we have compared the THD values of Shunt active power filter with PI and PID controller application for a given model. The design concept of the adaptive shunt active lter is veri ed through simulation studies and the results obtained are discussed. THD is most suitable to control the shunt active power filter in term of total harmonic reduction THD . MATLAB SIMULINK power system toolbox is used to simulate the proposed system. Cloud Computing Architecture, Services, Deployment Models, Storage, Benefits and Challenges

Cloud computing is known to all as one of the most popular technology in IT industries. Even non IT people are becoming habituated to u
se many applications of cloud computing day by day as well. New techniques of cloud computing are used to align information technology and business targets. So many opportunities are creating daily in the field of cloud computing. It offers easier access and excellent performance to execute the data on server through internet. Cloud Computing is forming itself as the soul of Internet gradually. Most of the internet users visit some common but very much popular websites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn which are all based on cloud computing. Apart from these, people use YouTube, Gmail and so on as well which are completely dependent on cloud storage. Here in this paper, we will discuss in brief on cloud architecture, services, storage, deployment models, benefits and challenges of cloud computing in real life.

Smart Aeterial Blood Gas Analyzer

The Patient's blood sample records are all not able to get properly as more no of samples are used daily in that machine. More samples, transportation and storage that are lead to loss of data or it will become some technical issues. So it is important to get data securely to doctor's hands. We have taken ABG machine's database to store and retrieve information whenever it is necessary. Blood gas analysis is used to measure oxygenation level, partial pressure, electrolytes and other parameters. We are using Arduino and cloud netwo
rk that offers proven solution for backing databases to the storage. The readings can be view by the mobile application.
