Experimental Study on Utilization of Hybrid Fibers in Self Compacting Concrete

Self compacting concrete is a non segregating concrete that is placed by means of its own weight. It is highly flow able concrete that can spread without need of vibration. In this study steel and polypropylene fiber are used as hybrid fiber to enhance the workability of the concrete. In addition to this, CONPLAST SP 430 is used as a chemical admixture which is added to SCC by the volume of 2 of cement. These components like hybrid fiber and super plasticizer are added to the concrete to improve the better strength and durability of SCC. In this study, the various mix proportions of fibers discussed in this study are 0 , 0.25 , 0.5 , 0.75 , 1 , 1.5 determined by preliminary test on self compacted materials. By this desired compositions test for fresh concrete such as slump flow, L box and V funnel, U box, J ring are performed for SCC. It is found that compression and split tensile strength has been improved by the addition of hybrid fibers at 1 respectively. This experimental investigation is carried out to improve the compressive, split tensile and flexural strength in SCC for obtaining the optimum value.

Investigations on a Diesel Engine Run on used Lubricating Oil Biodiesel Blend as an Alternative Fuel

Exhaust emission coming from IC engines affects not only the environment but also the human health. This serious issue has got attention by the government as well as from the researchers throughout the world. In this regard it is necessary to find out alternative to not only fossil fuel but also environment cooperative fuel. In this regard, investigations were carried out by using Jatropha biodiesel and its blend with used lubricating oil which was discarded after use. The test was carried in a single cylinder diesel engine and different terms such as performance and emissions of diesel engine were found out and compared with diesel operation. It was noticed that engine can be run by using these kinds of fuels. By using these fuels not only we are solving waste disposal problem but also replacing diesel fuel and environment friendly fuel. The used lubricating oils were blended with Jatropha biodiesel in different proportions and test were done.

Digital Notice Board

But sticking multiple notices each day is a hectic process. An individual character is wanted to take care of these notices. This mission is about advanced mobile board. The venture is built around raspberry pi. Display is obtained on LCD. A wi fi constantly used for Data transmission. we can add or erase or vary the textual content in accordance to our need. At transmitter, authorized PC is used for sending notices. At receiving quit wi fi fidelity is linked to raspberry pi. When a licensed consumer sends a message that is to be displayed from his system, it is familiar by way of receiver. Wireless is a popular technology known that how to approve digital device to alternate information over a computer network, together with high velocity wireless connections. The statistics is acquired from authenticated user, then it sends the records to raspberry pi.

Time Based Smart Speed Breaker using Embedded Systems

traffic in intelligent way the automatic speed breaker is used. When there is no need of speed breaker it disappear from the road and when there is need it comes on the road from the ground. In implementation of this project iron made hemi cyl indrical pipe is used as speed breaker which is capable of rotating itself by using control circuitry of embedded system. In this project RTC is connected to control circuitry. When the control circuitry receives the RF signal the RTC will start and speed breaker comes on the road it remains until the countdown gets zero. We can adjust the time according to our requirement. It is also called as dynamic traffic control system. It provides priority to the emergency vehicles. So this type of speed breaker are very useful before any schools and organization.

Comprehensive Performance Evaluation on Multiplication of Matrices using MPI

problem solving. Multiplication of huge matrices requires a lot of computing time as its complexity is O n3 . Because most engineering science applications require higher computational throughput with minimum time, many sequential and analogue algorithms are developed. In this paper, methods of matrix multiplication are elect, implemented, and analyzed. A performance analysis is evaluated, and some recommendations are given when using open MP and MPI methods of parallel of latitude computing.

Performance Evaluation of Hybrid Fiber Reinforced Concrete using Copper Slag as Replacement Material of Fine Aggregate

strength is relatively low. The introduction of steel fibers in concrete converts its nature from brittle to ductile. Cracks plays an important role in construction as they change concrete structure into permeable elements and with a high risk of corrosion. It is important to reduce the crack width and this can be achieved by adding polypropylene fibers to concrete. In this experimental investigation, the mechanical properties of HFRC containing Copper slag with various percentages of fibers like Steel fiber and Polypropylene fiber is evaluated. The mixes were designed for five different percentages such as 10 , 20 , 30 , 40 and 50 of Copper slag as replacement of fine aggregate with the small percentage of fibers as constant. The mechanical properties of these mixes were found and then comparing those results with the conventional concrete. The optimum dosage of Copper slag has to be found from these results. By the usage of optimum dosage, structural behaviour and durability characteristics will be evaluated.

IoT Based Remote Monitoring and Controlling for Shutter Systems

The technological advancement of the current technology has affected the processes of the most of the economic and social related businesses. The aims of this advancement are to serve and make human life more comfortable and however, there are still lots of areas in our daily life where manual processes are used. Taking as an example in the water control and management systems, where many authorities use manual systems for water controland management. Especially nowadays most of the countriesare still using manual system for controlling and monitoring the dams. Due to the complicated and time consuming process in a manual system, a model for Remote Monitoring and Controlling of Dams is proposed that uses remote control technology, linked to the web technology, to attain great success in monitoring and controlling water levels in managing dams. This paper is to present a new solution which it is to implemental proposed system called as RMCD ""Remote Monitoring and Controlling of Dams"". With the proposed system it will allow the user to control and monitor the dams remotely which it is saving a lot of efforts, reducing the cost and also increasing the monitoring quality as the users are going to use automated system rather than using of manual system.
