Review on Intrusion Detection in MANETs

Now a day the technology is improving day by day. The wired network has been changed to wireless network. There are many advantages of wireless network over wired network. One of the main advantage is we can walk around freely in a network area and accesses internet. Security is one of the challenging issues. Intrusion Detection System is one of the systematic ways to detect malicious node in a mobile ad hoc network MANET and it is driven by battery power. This paper gives a survey on various intrusion detection systems in MANET.

An Impact on Content Based Image Retrival A Perspective View

The explosive increase and ubiquitous accessibility of visual data on the Web have led to the prosperity of research activity in image search or retrieval. With the ignorance of visual content as a ranking clue, methods with text search techniques for visual retrieval may suffer inconsistency between the text words and visual content. Content based image retrieval CBIR , which makes use of the representation of visual content to identify relevant images, has attracted sustained attention in recent two decades. Such a problem is challenging due to the intention gap and the semantic gap problems. Numerous techniques have been developed for content based image retrieval in the last decade. We conclude with several promising directions for future research.

Analysis and Design of Telecommunication Tower using Different Truss System by ETab Software

In the present work an attempt has been made to study the behavior of buildings with roof top tower in the event of an Earth Quake using ETAB and hence optimum tower design will bring in substantial savings. The selection of an optimum outline together with right type of bracing system contributes to a large extent in developing an economical design of tower. The height of tower is fixed by the user and the structural designer has the task of designing the general configuration and member and joint details. Study on suitability of different type of truss system for telecom towers subjected to different seismic loads. In this research work our motive is to justify the vari
ation in strength of 3 cases of towers for same loading and different seismic conditions to carry out the best of them.

Analysis of Reconfigurable Solar Converter using MPPT Techniques

In this paper a converter called reconfigurable sunlight based converter RSC for photovoltaic PV battery applications is presented, particularl utility scale PV battery application. The fundamental idea of the RSC is to utilize a solitary force transformation framework to perform diverse activity modes, for example, PV to lattice dc to air conditioning , PV to battery dc to dc , battery to matrix dc to air conditioning , and battery PV to network dc to air conditioning for sun powered PV frameworks with vitality stockpiling. This converter arrangement is engaging for PV battery application, since it limits the quantity of change stages, along these lines improving productivity and lessening cost, weight, and volume. The examination of the converter is finished by PI controller and fluffy controller to decide yield voltage, PV current and voltage, battery current and voltages. Improvement of the model and Simulation is finished utilizing MATLAB SIMULINK software.

Simulation Study on Single Cylinder Spark Ignition Engine with Varying Ethanol Gasoline Blends

This study investigates the effect of a mixture of ethanol and gasoline in a four cylinder cycle spark ignition OHV engine in a cylinder fitted with a generator. The simulation is performed in professional engine simulation software from AVL Austria designated as BOOST. AVL BOOST is used as a computational thermodynamic simulation tool to analyze performance and emission characteristics for individual mixtures of ethanol and gasoline 0 , 10 , and 30 of ethanol by volume . . Studies are performed for 40 , 50 , 60 , 70 , 80 , 90 , 100 load cond
itions for constant engine speed. The results were compared to pure gasoline. This showed that as ethanol content increases, power and torque decrease. Fuel consumption increases with an increase in ethanol percentage. CO emissions decrease with an increase in ethanol percentage while HC emissions decrease at higher percentage loads. NOX emissions increase with increase in ethanol percentage.

Automatic Solar Tracking System

Solar energy is very important means of expanding renewable energy resources. In this paper is described the design and construction of a microcontroller based solar panel tracking system. Solar is a nonconventional source of energy, considering this we have developed solar panels so that we can fulfill our electricity need. But due to revolution of the earth, solar source i.e. sun does not face the panel continuously hence less electricity is produced. The energy panel should face the SUN till it is present in a day. The problem above can be solved by our system by automatic tracking the solar energy. The block diagram below shows system architecture it consist of a LDR sensor senses max solar power which is being given to the Microcontroller through the ADC which digitizes the LDR output. Controller then takes the decision according to then algorithm and tilts the panel towards the direction of the max energy given by LDR with the help of DC Motor . The Motor is used to rotate the LDR to sense the max solar power. A Solar Tracker is basically a device onto which solar panels are fitted which tracks the motion of the sun across the sky ensuring that the maximum amount of sunlight strikes the panels throughout the day. After finding the sunlight, the trackerwill try to navigate through the path ensuring the best sunlight is detected. It is completely automatic and keeps the panel in front of sun until that is visible. Its active sensors constantly monitor the sunlight and rotate the panel towards the direction where the intensity of sunlight is maximum. Residential that uses solar power as their alternative power supply will bring benefits to them. The main objective of this project is to development of an automatic solar tracking system whereby the system will caused solar panels will keep aligned with the Sunlight in order to maximize in harvesting solar power. The system focuses on the controller design whereby it will caused the system is able to tracks the maximum intensity of Sunlight is hit. When the intensity of Sunlight is decreasing, this system automatically changes its direction to get maximum intensity of Sunlight. LDR light detector acts as a sensor is used to trace the coordinate of the Sunlight by detecting brightness level of Sunlight. While to rotate the appropriate position of the panel, a DCgeared motor is used. The system is controlled by two relays as a DC geared motor driver and a microcontroller as a main processor. This project is covered for a single axis and is designed for low power and residential usage applications. From the hardware testing, the system is able to track and follow the Sunlight intensity in order to get maximum solar power at the output regardless motor speed.

The Impact of Temperature and Relative Humidity Elevation on Mental Health of In Patient Admitted Into Jos Teaching Hospital Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria

The paper examined the impact of temperature and relative humidity escalation on mental health of in patient admitted into Jos Teaching Hospital JUTH Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. The main independent variables of interest were temperature and relative humidity we also employed two derived parameters heat index and overlapping effect in our analysis in which we used four years 2011 2014 data of psychiatric cases and in patient that were admitted in the hospital, ex post facto research design was adopted for the study. The population of the study comprised 2073 in patient that was admitted in the hospital from the year 2011 2014 was sample used for the study. Data collected were analyzed with used of single regression and multiple regression analysis with complex heat index formula. The study found climate parameters temperature and relative humidity and their counterpart derived parameters heat index and overlapping effect make population vulnerable to the risk of psychiatric cases and do increase the numbers of patient admitted in the JUTH. There were positive association between the numbers of in patient in the JUTH and those parameters with 41 and 38 critical acute psychiatric cases due to overlapping and heat index effect respectively. In other word 79 10.2 of the total 778 numbers of patient traceable to those parameters were in critical acute psychiatric condition. Increase in the relative humidity and overlapping made population more vulnerable to the risk of psychiatric cases with approximately equal strength than the heat index and temperature. But the heat index makes more risk than temperature. The vulnerability of population to psychiatric cases was not equally distributed throughout the year 2011 2014. Population response differently to the impact of each parameter throughout those years considered. The effective strength of relative humidity determines the effective strength of the overlapping effect and the effective strength of temperature determine that of the heat index.
