An IOT Based Low Power Health Monitoring with Active Personal Assistance

Among sensible goals of active and assisted living paradigm is the unobtrusive monitoring of daily living activities. A lot of research has been going on continuous home and personal monitoring applications. There are many solutions were adapted by these technologies to make better remote monitoring applications. The traditional continuous home and personal monitoring systems which are implemented with traditional client server architecture which may fail in factors like low power consumption, un deterministic data delivery time, More sensitive to external connectivity issues temporary failures of servers , adhoc networks using ZigBee and Z wave etc. and also increase the cost of implementation. However, when dealing with the home environment, and especially with older adults, obtrusiveness, usability, and cost concerns are of the utmost relevance for active and assisted Living AAL joint program. With advent of cloud services, the continuous remote monitoring based applications became truly plug and play' approach implementation and also reduce the problems of temporary failures. One of the biggest challenges in this area is to make such application devices work with low power battery based applications . The main drawback comes from the higher power consumption, inherently needed to sustain much higher data rates. In this project, a solution is proposed to improve the low power consumption in Wi Fi sensors by making use of advanced RF based Microprocessor from Texas instruments CC3200 . Bed Occupancy sensor automation has been designed and implemented to test the feasibility of the approach. The TI CC3200 comes with ARM Cortex M4 as a core and inbuilt Wi Fi subsystem. The CC3200 provides different power modes to make the device enter into sleep or hibernate mode. This device will only enter only in work phase when the sensor is active state. During this phase, the processor sample and processes the sensor data and uploads to the cloud using REST API. Thing speak is an IoT cloud service used to present the sensory data as graphs, bar charts, and dashboards on the cloud remaining time it will enter into sleep phase to save the power of the device, so that it will extend the battery life time of the device.

Comparative Study on RCC Beam with and without Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer using Ansys Software

RCC components are mainly beams and columns are sturdy and strong in flexure when they are utilized with Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymers CFRP composites which are epoxy bonded for tensile zones with the direction of fibres parallel to it of high tensile stresses. The mechanical behavior of composite concrete structures is difficult to analyze by an analytical model, due to the nonlinear behavior of the composite material. FE analysis is an efficient solution to overcome the problems. A load defection response, stress response and strain response were measured when CFRP reinforcement was provided, the stiffer response was observed at a relatively reduction in deflection, stress and strain in CFRP sheet.Finite Element Method analysis for the investigation of deformation and stresses. Ansys 14.5 software is used for finite element modelling. In this study unreinforced beam and beam reinforced with CFRP are compared on the basis of deformation and stresses.

Review Paper on RCC Beam with and without Fibre Reinforced Polymer

Concrete creation is normally expected to present trouble free carrier all through its intended layout lifestyles. But these expectancies arent realized in many constructions due to structural deficiency, fabric deterioration, unanticipated over loadings or bodily damage. Untimely material deterioration can stand up from some of reasons, the most common being while the construction specifications are violated or while the ability is uncovered to harsher carrier surroundings than the ones anticipated throughout the making plans and design levels. Bodily damage can also arise from fire, explosion ' as well as from restraints, both internal and outside, in opposition to structural motion. Except in extreme cases, maximum of the structures require healing to
fulfil its purposeful necessities by way of suitable repair strategies.

Variable Refrigerant Flow System

The heating, ventilation, and air conditioning HVAC system is arguably the foremost advanced system put in in an exceedingly building and is liable for a considerable part of the entire building energy use. Variable refrigerant flow is varied exploitation either and discoverer controlled variable speed mechanical device , or multiple mechanical device of varied capability in response to changes within the cooling heating needed within the air conditioned spa

ce. The variable refrigerant Flow VRF air conditioning system as a high degree of intellectual control, with every indoor unit being able to directly start the air conditioning system, freely setting and regulating the temperature, the volume and direction of the current ,and the mode. Every indoor unit can separately control it start and close, and regulate its operations. HVAC style involves quite simply the load estimate calculation the load calculation is that the start of the repetitious HVAC style procedure. This strategy guideline discusses the data required to style the air distribution system to deliver the right quantity of conditioned air to an area. Heating and cooling masses area unit dependent upon the building location, sighting, and therefore the construction of the house, whereas the instrumentation choice and therefore the air distribution style area unit dependent upon the loads and each other. The Variable refrigerant flow systems may be a particularly good option for buildings with multiple zones or wide variance heating cooling loads across many different internal zones. These systems provide individual control and the most versatile of the multi split systems. Hotels, school and office buildings are good examples.

Disease Detection in Plant Leaves using K-Means Clustering and Neural Network

The most contributing variable for the Indian Economy is Agriculture yet at the same time there is absence of mechanical improvement in many parts of it. The harm caused by rising, re developing and endemic pathogens, is vital in plant frameworks and prompts potential misfortune. The harvest generation misfortunes its quality because of much infections and some of the time they happen however are indeed, even not obvious with stripped eyes. Plant malady recognition is one such dull process that is hard to be inspected by exposed eye. This paper shows an answer utilizing image processing calculations by loading the image, preprocessing and feature extraction using K means clustering and segmentation method to identify the disease with which the plant leaf been affected.

Effects of Agricultural Extension Services on the Performance of Members of Women Agricultural Cooperatives in South East, Nigeria

This study dwelt on Effects of Agricultural Extension Services on the Performance of Members of Women Agricultural Cooperatives in Southeast Nigeria. Nigerian agricultural system has not been living up to expectation, despite the wide range of programmes, policies and approaches that have been formulated for its enhancement and sustenance. Multistage random sampling technique was adopted to select 399 respondents of the women agricultural cooperative members. Primary data was sourced through the use of structured questionnaire. Data collected were analyzed with both descriptive and inferential statistics with the help of SPSS version 23 and strata 14 software. The descriptive statistics used include frequency distribution table, simple percentages, weighted mean and mean threshold of five point likert scale measure while inferential statistics used include regression, and ANOVA, which were used for the test of hypotheses formulated. The result of hypothesis one revealed that the socioeconomic characteristics of the members of the women agricultural cooperative have significant influence on the use of extension services with Age 2.07 ,level of education 3.39 ,main occupation 2.46 and income 3.25.Hypotheses 2 and 3 also revealed that the level of use of agricultural extension services have significant effect on the women's income and output performance indices with F statistics value of 107.42 ,72.11 and r 0.4622,0.3658 respectively. It is recommended that women farmers need education and training for better understanding of extension services and programmes which will provide assistance to them, for improved agricultural production. Women agricultural cooperative members need training on financial inclusion that they can use all available sources of credit for enhancement of agricultural activities and this will boost food security in the Southeast and Nigeria in general.
