Experimental Study on Properties of SMA Mixed with Sisal Fiber and Partially Replaced Aggregate with Scrap Tyre

Stone Matrix Asphalt SMA is a gap graded mixture, have a better stone to stone contact which gives better strength to the mixture. In this examination work total utilized according to the MORTH determination which was taken from an equivalent part. The examples are made with total with various degree, filler concrete and fastener bitumen 60 70 . Strands are utilized as stabilizer and are utilized to diminish the channel down and to expand the quality and dependability of the SMA Blend.

An Experimental Study on Partial Replacement of Coarse Aggregate with Plastic Scrap and Sand with Foundry Sand in Concrete

Concrete is the most widely used construction material in the world it is a mixture of cement, sand, coarse aggregate and water. Storage and safe disposal of industrial byproduct such as Waste foundry sand is major disposable item of metal casting industries and plastic bottle is a huge problem everywhere, reuse of these waste eliminates reduce the problem. Plastic bottles are a major issue of solid waste disposal. Several things which were invented for our convenient life are responsible for polluting environment due to improper waste management technique. One of them is plastic which has to be disposed or recycled properly to maintain the beauty of our nature. Polyethylene Terephthalate PET, PETE or polyester are routinely used for carbonated beverage and water bottles. This is an environmental issue as waste plastic bottles are difficult to biodegrade and involve processes either to recycle or reuse. In the Modern world, the construction industry is searching for cost effective materials for enhancing the strength of concrete structures. In this experiment fine aggregate is replaced 0, 10, 20 and 30 of its weight by foundry sand and course aggregate is replaced 0 and 5 of its weight by Plastic bottles in all concrete mix and there effects are studied.

Internet of Things Challenges and Solutions

The Internet of things IoT is a relatively new concept. It presents numerous benefits to consumers and proves a financial boon for businesses. Pervasive introduction of sensors and devices into currently intimate spaces, such as homes, cars, and wearables, poses some challenges. There are also challenges in deploying IoT by government agencies and private industries. This paper attempts to address these challenges and offers solutions.

Are Accessibility Indices, a Smart Decision Support System Tool for Measuring Access of Mobility Impaired in Public Spaces A Review

Background There is a worldwide need for smart decision support system tools to measure, evaluate and improve the physical accessibility for varied mobility disabled users in outdoor and indoor built environment.

Purpose
1. How the methodology and variables identified in research studies is pertinent for measuring access of mobility impaired in public spaces and development of Accessibility indices

2. How smart technology is integrated with decision support system tools for measuring the accessibility in public spaces and validated through scientific methods Materials and Methods The majority of studies published during 2000 to 2017 were included in the review, spread across location, infrastructure and time space based accessibility measures for mobility impaired in public spaces, for all categories of age groups.

Comparison of studies at building, campus and city level for analyzing and development of smart decision support system. Results The limitation of decision support system tools integrated with technology considers few variables with one or two types of impairments and fails to demonstrate the conflicting provisions between different disability groups. It supports users and urban planners to map, identify the barriers for intervening in infrastructure improvement and facilitation. The tools brought out social exclusion and disparity in accessing the opportunities of able bodied and disabled persons. Conclusions Research leads to policy interventions, development of smart auditing tools at the planning and design stage for implementing accessibility standards for mobility impaired, elderly and other disability groups. Future studies should focus on real time modeling, utilizing volunteered geographic information for preparation of smart decision support tools.

Comparative Study of Parallel Vertical Junction Solar Cell Photovoltages

This work aims, through a theoretical study, to make a comparison of three different parallel vertical junction solar cells photovoltages Si silicon, InAs indium arsenide and GaAs gallium arsenide . For this we have showed the evolution of these voltages with regard to temperature and the collection of the charge carrier velocity. The photovoltaic cell having the voltage most important is probably more performant. These cells have the same dimensions, are doped with the same doping level and are used under the same conditions of illumination and temperature. The comparative study is made only on their electric photovoltage. This important size for the characterization of cell performance is deduced from the continuity equation resolution. The photovoltages are studied according to the temperature and according to charge carrier's collection velocity.

Skills Gap Identification of RAC TVET Based Curriculum among Practitioners Enhanced Module

This research assessed the skills gap identified by the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning RAC TVET Based curriculum. The descriptive survey method of research was used in this research. Survey questionnaire was formulated to gather the needed data from the respondents. Further, percentages, weighted mean, frequency were used to analyze and interpret the data, and chi square for the significant difference. The data revealed that there is a significant relationship between the profile and the RAC competencies of the group respondents. Moreover, the P value was more than to the level of significance. This implies that the profile of the respondents directly influence the competencies of the group respondents. It was concluded that the group respondents were not well knowledgeable in terms of common and basic competencies. Thus, there is still a need to improve their skills and knowledge in terms refrigeration and air conditioning.

Robust Exponential Stabilization for a Class of Uncertain Systems via a Single Input Control and its Circuit Implementation

In this paper, the robust stabilization for a class of uncertain chaotic or non chaotic systems with single input is investigated. Based on Lyapunov like Theorem with differential and integral inequalities, a simple linear control is developed to realize the global exponential stabilization of such uncertain systems. In addition, the guaranteed exponential convergence rate can be correctly estimated. Finally, some numerical simulations with circuit realization are provided to show the effectiveness of the obtained result.
