Knowledge Discovery in Classification and Distribution of Butterfly Species From Dagon University Campus, Myanmar by Rule Induction CN2 Algorithm

Rule induction is an area of machine learning in which formal rules are extracted from a set of observations. The CN2 induction algorithm is a learning algorithm for rule induction. In this research, "The Fauna of British India, Ceylon and Burma. Butterflies. Vol. I and Vol. II" written by C.T Bingham are used as the required knowledge for the resource. This research applies the CN2 algorithm to discover the knowledge of butterfly species rules for classification from Dagon University campus and a system has also developed. In this system, 29 butterflies as a zoological dataset, MS Visual Studio 2012 as a programming tool and MS SQL Server as for database development are used.

Real Time Eye Blinking and Yawning Detection

Detecting eye blink and yawning is important, for example in systems that monitor the vigilance of the human operator, eg Driver's drowsiness. Driver fatigue is one of the leading causes of the worlds deadliest road accidents. This shows that in the transport sector in particular, where a driver of heavy vehicles is often open to hours of monotonous driving which causes fatigue without frequent rest periods. It is therefore essential to design a road accident prevention system that can detect the drivers drowsiness, determine the drivers level of carelessness and warn when an imminent danger occurs. In this article, we propose a real time system that uses eye detection techniques, blinking and yawning. The system is designed as a non intrusive real time monitoring system. The priority is to improve driver safety without being intrusive. In this work, the blink of an eye and the drivers yawn are detected. If the drivers eyes remain closed for more than a certain time and the drivers mouth is open to yawning, the driver is said to be fatigue.

Design and Calculation of Solar Power Plant in Myanmar

PV technology is the most famous among the several renewable energy technologies that was adopted globally. According to Myanmar weather condition, solar power plants are the best renewable energy source to provide electricity for both urban and rural areas. The case study is selected Tat Thit Kyun where is situated Latitude 18°44N and Longitude 95°11E 5.6 mile away from Padaung Township. 312 kWh demand is needed for 387 numbers of household. Data is obtained from Meteorological data of the village and NASA.

Implementation of Lower Leg Bone Fracture Detection from X Ray Images

A methodology and various techniques are presented for development of fracture detection system using digital image processing. This paper presents an implementation of bone fracture detection using medical X ray image. The goal of this paper is to generate a quick and diagnosis can save time, effort and cost as well as reduce errors. The main objective of this research is to classify the lower leg bone fracture using X ray image because this type of bone are the most commonly occur in bone. This paper classifies the two types of fracture Non fracture and fracture or Transverse fracture by using SVM classifier. The proposed system has basically five steps, namely, image acquisition, image pre processing, image segmentation, feature extraction and image classification.

Microstructural and Mechanical Properties Analysis of Plasma ARC Welded 316L Austenitic Stainless Steel Joints without Addition of Filler Material

Plasma Arc Welding PAW is one of the important arc welding process commonly using as aerospace, medical, power plants, and automobile industry. Especially stainless steel 316L SS316L has been successfully utilized in many sectors because of its excellent corrosion resistance, self healing property, and biocompatibility, high fatigue life and creep resistance. The paper focuses on weld quality characteristics like weld bead geometry, grain size, hardness and ultimate tensile strength of PAW welded joints of austenitic stainless steels AISI 316L. From the analysis carried out it is noticed that AISI 316L has achieved sound weld bead geometry, good tensile strength and hardness. Welding of Low Nickel Chrome manganese Austenitic is an emerging area of research. Due to nickel price volatility, there was been increased interest in no nickel or low nickel economical grades of stainless steel. Chrome manganese austenitic "standard 200 series" and ferritic stainless steel "standard 300 series" grades with well defined technical properties have proved acceptable materials for specific applications for many years. This increase in the use and production of these low nickel grades is not currently matched by a proper level of user knowledge. So there is a risk that they may be used in unsuitable applications. It is very important to cultivate the method of fabrication like welding. This paper looks at the behaviour of low nickel chrome manganese austenitic stainless steel in terms of microstructure and sensitization effects upon welding by PAW process. In this project, we performed 5 mm thick AISI 316L bead on and joint using PAW. Further study the geometric analysis, microstructure, micro hardness, tensile strength, SEM analysis and TAGUCHI analysis of the welded work pieces and analyzed the benefits and shortcoming methods.

Accelerate the Strength Gaining Properties of Concrete by using Different Cementtitious Materials, Non Chlorides Hardning Acceleraters and Water Curing in Rigid Pavement

The present study work was carried out to determine the effect of Non Chlorides Hardening Accelerators with different cementations' materials i.e. OPC and PPC. On concrete mixtures when Non Chlorides Accelerators used in OPC mixtures with water curing, keeping the ascending dose of non chlorides hardening accelerators i.e. 0, 0.58, 0.73, 0.87. The two strength properties of concrete determined in experimental work namely compressive strength and flexural strength at 7 and 28 days. The effect of accelerators enhancing the flexural strength was found to be fading at later age of concrete which was also observed in case of compressive strength. The maximum percentage gains at 7 and 28 days were 27.18 and 20.48 respectively recorded at maximum dosage of accelerators. In case of PPC mixtures, Non chlorides hardening accelerators rage kept  0, 0.57, 0.72, and 0.85. In PPC mixtures also moderate to high increase in the flexural and compressive strength was observed at early age with increasing the dosage of accelerators Hence through the result conclusion high early strength concrete mixtures can be obtained by using Non chlorides hardened accelerators and two types of cementations materials i.e. OPC and PPC. With different curing methods namely water curing and curing with membrane forming curing compounds.

Characterization of Graphite and Zirconium Oxide on Al 7075 Metal Matrix Composites MMCS Fabricated by Stir Casting Technique

This work investigates the mechanical properties of Aluminium Metal Matrix Composites reinforced with Zirconium Oxide and Graphite. The composite material has been prepared by Stir casting technique. Al 7075 as matrix metal, Zirconium oxide and graphite as reinforcements. Zirconium Oxide and Graphite both have been mixed in different proportions in the Aluminium Matrix. Both reinforcement constituents were added in different combinations, so as to investigate the effect of each of these two and their individual effects. Density test, Micro hardness test and Compression test were carried out on the developed hybrid composites to study the mechanical properties of composites. Micro structural studies were carried out on Al 7075 and all composites. Samples were prepared and tested as per ASTM standards. Significant improvement in micro hardness and Compressive strength was found with an increase in Zirconium dioxide in weight percentage of composites. Micro structural study reveals the uniform distribution of reinforcements ZrO2 and graphite in as cast and Al 7075 metal matrix composites.
