Comparative Analysis of Efficient Designs of D Latch using 32nm CMOS Technology

In this paper we have proposed various efficient designs of low power D latch using 32nm CMOS technology. We have designed and simulated these circuits in HSpice simulation tool. In this simulation we have modified W L ratio of each transistor in each circuit. We have taken power supply of 0.9V. We have calculated average power consumed propagation delay and power delay product.

Consideration of Three Phase Faults on Transmission Line with Distance Protection

In a modern power system, electrical energy from the generating station is delivered to the consumers through a network of transmission and distribution. Transmission lines are also important elements of electric power system and require attention of protecting for safety against the possible faults occurring on them. The detection of a fault and disconnection of a faulty section or apparatus can be achieved by using fuses or relays in conjunction with circuit breakers. Distance relay has the ability to detect a fault within a distance along a transmission line or cable from its location. Distance relay protection is the most widely used in case of high voltage and extra high voltage in the transmission line. In this paper discussion about how to protect the long transmission line with distance relay.

Experimental Study of Mesh Confined Concrete Subjected to High Temperature

Nowadays fire accidents are happening in most of the buildings which causes heavy damage to the buildings and result in loss of durability. In order to avoid the consequences an experimental investigation is carried out using mesh confinement concrete. Concrete is a non combustible material and has a slow rate of heat transfer. High temperature can cause the formation of cracks. These cracks resembles like any other cracks propagation may eventually cause loss of structural collapse and shorting of span life. One mighty problem which occurs when concrete is exposed to fire is spalling. This is the phenomenon in which explosion ejection of chunks in concrete from the surface of the material, due to the breakdown in surface tensile strength. In order to reduce early cover spalling, a new idea has been investigated. This is implemented by installing relatively cheap materials such as glass mesh, nylon mesh, GI weld mesh and wire mesh in cylindrical specimens with a length of 300mm and 150mm diameter. It has been understood from the literature to reduce the spalling in concrete and strength can be improved by mesh confinement. Hence an experimental investigation will be done to study the performance of mesh confinement concrete subjected to fire.

Analysis of Hydraulic Sheet Cutting Machine and its Fixture by using FEA

The sheet metal cutting process is a main part of the all industries. Normally the sheet metal cutting machine is manually hand operated one for medium and small scale industries. In our project is "Analysis Of Hydraulic Sheet Cutting Machine And Its Fixture By Using FEA". Automation in the modern world is inevitable. Any automatic machine aimed at the economical use of man, machine, and material worth the most. The sheet metal cutting machine is used to cut the small size of sheet metal. The machine is portable in size, so easy transportable. The sheet metal cutting machine works with the help of hydraulic cylinder. The piston is connected to the moving cutting tool. It is used to cut the small size of sheet metal. The machine is portable in size, so easy transportable.

An Experimental Study on Stabilisation of Loose Soil by Using Sisal Fiber

Soil Properties which creates a crucial impact on construction activities due to the rapid growth of urbanization and industrialization. Especially in expansive soils are creating worldwide problematic soil these having large volumetric change behavior when it undergoes a change in the moisture content. Among those, black cotton soil are one type of expansive soils and they show high swelling and shrinkage behavior owing to fluctuating water content. In India, black cotton soil covers as high as 20 of the total land area and majorly in central and south India. If it should be used as foundation material, Improvement of soil need to be done by adopting various techniques like soil stabilization, reinforcement etc. Usage of locally available admixtures is effective in terms of easy adaptability and economy. The main objective of this study is to assess the possibility of using sisal fiber as a stabilizing agent and to understand the effectiveness of sisal fibers in controlling several properties of black cotton soil under controlled laboratory conditions. To achieve this goal several experimental studies like optimum moisture content, compressive strengths tests UCS , CBR, etc., were carried out with the addition of different percentages of sisal in black cotton soil sample as trial and error process. In the present study, the soil samples prepared with the addition of sisal fibers by 0.25 , 0.5 , 0.75 , and 1 the average length of sisal fiber is going to use in this study is approximately 10 15mm. At first, Optimum Moisture Content OMC was determined through the proctor test. At those OMC, several tests like CBR, UCS were conducted. CBR test was carried in both Unsoaked and soaked condition and maximum values were obtained where 0.75 sisal fiber was added.

To Study the Behaviour of use Bituminous Pavement Wastes in Cement Concrete

Generally, aggregate prepare 60 to 75 of total concrete amount, therefore the aggregate choice is crucial, and additionally they regulate concrete qualities. Aggregate offer wear resistance as well as strength. So, the aggregate selection, as well as proportioning, must need more attention. The aggregate is usually crushed rocks for example limestone, coarse gravel, maybe granite as well as good aggregate like sand or maybe stone dust. Aggregate formed Bulk pavement structure. This research paper represents a review on the utilization of bituminous pavement wastes. This can assist in obtaining economic climate in construction of road along with preserving environment friendly degradation in term of decreased amount of pollution as well as mining.

Effects of Waste Asbestos Cement Sheet on Compressive Strength and Flexural Strength of Concrete

Concrete is the leading construction material in the region of the world and used in structural works, including infrastructure, low and high rise buildings. It is a man made artifact, essentially consisting of a combination of cement, aggregates, admixture s and water. Inert granular materials such as natural and crushed stone or gravel form the main part of the aggregates. Conventionally aggregates have been available at economical prices as well as of qualities to suit the entire purposes. But, the continued wide withdrawal of aggregates has been questioned as of the depletion of quality main aggregates and greater awareness of environmental safety. In this research, I have replaced the coarse aggregate partially by using asbestos cement sheet waste. Therefore, I have planned to prepared some number of cubes and beams, using asbestos cement sheet waste at various proportions like 0 , 5 , 10 and 15 by weight of coarse aggregate The properties for fresh concrete are tested for Compressive Strength and flexural strength at the age of 7, 14 and 28 days. It is found that with the increase in the percentage replacement of coarse aggregate with Asbestos sheet waste there is increase in Compressive Strength and Flexural Strength upto5 replacement after that there is a decrease in Compressive Strength and Flexural Strength with the further replacement of coarse aggregate with Asbestos sheet waste. It can also observe that 28 days Compressive Strength and Flexural Strength are increased by replacement of coarse aggregate with Asbestos sheet waste as compared to conventional concrete.
