A Review Paper Study on Tall Structure for Hilly and Plane Surface under Seismic and Wind Load Conditions

Earthquakes occur when energy stored in elastically strained rocks is suddenly released. This release of energy causes severe ground shaking in the areas near the source of the earthquake and sends wave of elastic energy called seismic waves throughout the earth. When an earthquake occurs, the elastic energy is released and it sends the vibration that travels throughout the earth. These vibrations are also called seismic waves. Multi storey building frames on sloping ground will be coming up in large number in future times. Thus realistic analysis of these building frames on sloping ground is of paramount importance. Due to site conditions, buildings on hill slopes have unequal column heights which results in variation of column stiffness.

GSM Based Home Automation System using Arduino

Home Automation System is used to control home appliances. With the use of computers and electronics technology electrical appliances can be controlled from any part of the world. Consequently, greater amount of energy will be saved and hence the natural resources. This can be achieved by using the mobile phone. This system is designed using Arduino UNO and GSM module. The electrical appliances are controlled by sending a text message from any mobile located in any part provided it has GSM connectivity. There are many existing Home Automation Systems on the world. But every system has its pros and cons. The proposed system is easy to implement and understand.

A Review Paper on Strength Development of SCMS Based Geopolymer Cement

Ten to 50 of the world's total carbon dioxide emissions come from producing cement. The global warming gas is discharged once stone and clays are crushed and heated to high temperatures. New age concrete is outlined as a concrete that uses the waste product as a minimum of one among its parts, or its production method doesnt cause environmental destruction, or its high performance and life cycle property. Varied efforts are conducted by researchers to make some alternatives that can considerably cut back high energy consumed and environmental impacts throughout the fabrication method of cement, together with implementing the idea of commercial ecology. The cleaner technologies in concrete production, like work comparatively high proportion of cement by fly ash up to 100, the utilization of different natural pozzolans, development of concrete with usage or waste materials, and developing of new age concrete by using polymerization of concrete the present reviews about performance of geopolymer concrete with the SCM materials Fly ash and GGBS

Indoor Positioning and Navigation System for Locating Desired Products into the Shopping Mall by Utilizing Android Application

The Big Shopping Center's normally give a directory to their accessible shops, yet these directories are more often than not static and dont give any intuitiveness highlights to the customers. In this work, we present the portable shopping Center guide. The primary explanation for our reasonable thought of our proposed venture is on the grounds that we feel that when guests frequently change their arrangement to go to alternate shops rather than the one in their brain, it very well may be of exertion particularly thinking about the swarmed dimensions and an area of the route material. The application created is reasonable and possible Smart telephones have turned out to be extremely mainstream these days, so we have consolidated the thought. Advanced mobile phone application is helping you in an estranged shopping Center. This thought rotates around our advanced mobile phones and the WIFI given by a shopping Center. An application that needs the constant, quick, and reliable data processing.

Tongue Motion Controlled Wheelchair

This paper describes the "Design and Implementation of Tongue Motion Controlled Wheelchair". Most serious accidents and injuries often end with various motorist disabilities usually resulting in a limited control of the muscles of various body parts and in some worst case scenarios even the whole body. Tongue driven system is a new wireless assistive technology for persons severely disabled due to spinal cord injuries, quadriplegia or repetitive strain injuries RSI. It translates the user's intensions into control commands by detecting and classifying their voluntary tongue movements. Tongue driven system consists of an array of hall effect magnetic sensors and permanent magnet which is held on tongue using tissues adhesive and tongue piercing. An array of magnetic sensor is mounted on the headset outside the mouth. The RF module is used for wireless technology and AT mega328 is used as a controller. The sensor's output is wirelessly transmitted to the microcontroller and it will process the signal to control the movement of power wheelchair. Two DC motors are used to drive the wheelchair. This technology provides faster advanced smoother and more convenient control.

Load Estimating and Calculating the Components of Solar System

This paper is focused to develop solar system in rural area because the electricity is the backbone of the country's economy and only 40 is electrified in Myanmar. In design load estimating and calculation the components for the solar system and moreover environmental impact and climate change is also a fact to consider in it. Myanmar has high solar potential, photovoltaic PV system must be installed for most of the rural areas where there is no national grid line. To develop off grid PV system which support for people to lift up their lives in rural areas. Mono crystalline or single crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells and lead acid batteries are going to use in the system. The load estimation, PV sizing, inverter selection and battery sizing are calculated mainly. Based on the results, the design consideration can be absolutely applicable for the one village.

Computational Analysis of Thermal Behavior within a Scraped Surface Heat Exchanger SSHE

In this present work, the Computational analysis of fluid flow and heat transfer within a Scraped Surface Heat Exchanger SSHE , which is an industrial device, is reported. The 3D model of SSHE geometry is achieved with Solid Edge V18. 3D mesh model of SSHE with finite volume discretization obtained in ANSYS ICM CFD code and ANSYS CFX V15 used to solve continuity, momentum and energy equations using multiple rotating reference frame formulation.

The steady, laminar, non isothermal flow of pure glycerin Newtonian fluid was investigated. The cooling process without phase change within the SSHE was studied. The different scraper blades of 3 and 2.The inlet velocity of the fluid is varied to evaluate the thermal behavior of SSHE. The different process parameters in the parametric study are rotational velocity, axial velocity and the different scraper blades 3 and 2 . When reducing the number of rotating parts, better cooling is achieved. The variations of the local heat transfer coefficient based on inner wall temperature and bulk fluid temperature as a function of the main process parameters, namely rotational velocity, axial velocity and the different scraper blades obtained.

The results have shown that viscous dissipation has a significant effect on the cooling of the glycerine. The local heat transfer coefficient increases gradually when reducing the rotating parts of scraper blades improves the heat transfer rate. Larger increases of the same occurred with higher rotational velocity and axial velocity. If higher the value of rotating velocity=9rps is considered there is a viscous heating occurs and also more number of rotating parts friction is produced on the boundary layer surface and the temperature increases, so 2 scraper blades results shows the better heat transfer performance in bulk fluid temperature and local heat transfer co efficient. This is expected to be useful in the design of SSHEs handling highly viscous fluids.
