Economic Profitability Assessment on the Operations of Lechon Manok Enterprises in Selected Towns in Northern Samar

This study investigated the economic profitability assessment on the operations of lechon manok enterprise in selected towns in Northern Samar. Results revealed that the economic profitability of the enterprise was computed using return on investment ROI . It was found out that on the return on investment of the respondents the highest was 9.23 , and the lowest was 3.12 . Working capital can be looked at as the excess of total current assets over total current liabilities. Thus, the larger the amount of working capital the stronger the liquidity position of the business organization Al Debi'e, 2011 .Furthermore, results of simple linear regression analysis performed on the data indicated that the relationship between capital and net income was significantly related. The higher the capital, the higher the income. With this, the researchers recommend that lechon manok operators should consider strategies to adjust with the factors that will help to sustain a better profitability of the business. The profitability refers to the measures of profitability of the firm in generating profit San Gabriel, 2005 . However, it is attained by watching the profit over the growth of cost and revenue by watching the profit over the growth of cost and revenue at that margin and by containing the direction of the cost revenue combination that yield the highest possible profit Villegas, 2008 . Consumers should be meticulous enough in choosing and buying a lechon manok in an accredited lechon manok enterprise, for their own safety consumption. Government regulatory authorities should be consistent in supervising the different lechon manok enterprise in town, to secure that all operators are following the standard policies or guidelines used in the business. It is viable that the future investors should have enough capital in starting a lechon manok business. Studies that will involve other respondents in other towns may be conducted to provide further information on the assessment of economic profitability assessment on the operations of lechon manok enterprises.

Analytical Approach to Recycle the Vegetable and Fruit Waste into Feed

The worlds population is projected to grow from about 7.7 billion in 2019 to 9.6 billion people by 2050. More than half of this growth is expected in Sub Saharan Africa SSA China and India. In addition to population growth, per capita meat and milk consumption is also growing, especially in China and India. As the cities are urbanizing and population is migrating in search of better living standards there is double impulse for food in these magnets of growth. In food the demand of fruits and vegetables as well as dairy and meat products is increased gradually in last decade which correspondingly lead to the demand of feed for animals. In this research paper we are presenting a mechanism to convert the vegetable and fruit waste into animal feed by designed feed making machine and its impact on environment in terms of fewer quanta discarded to dumping yard and less production of methane emission due to fruit and vegetable waste. And the scope of recycling the waste will be assessed on pigsty in Pune.

Analytical Study of Washing Machine Effluent for Households of Residential Building in Nasik Region

Water plays a significant role in the human and animal life it is one of the prominent components of environment without which life is not possible in this earth but persistent glitches of today are water scarcity. In the last few decades, limitless urbanization has caused a serious pollution problem due to the disposal of sewage to the water bodies. The present study focused on the physico chemical parameters of wastewater of washing machine for the households of residential building in Nasik. Examination have been be performed on effluent on its physical appearance such as pH, turbidity, TDS, while chemical tests should be perform for its COD, BOD, Oil and Grease, Conductivity, Total Hardness, Calcium, Magnesium, dissolved oxygen, alkalinity, Sulphate, Iron, Lead, Zinc, DO and Nitrate. The analysis shows the parameters have exceed the permissible limit of recycle reuse of water in pH, COD, BOD, Turbidity, TDS, Total Hardness, DO so there is a need for an appropriate treatment system to reuse the washing machine effluent in the case study area.

Design and Simulation of Permanent Magnet Linear Generator for Wave Energy Power Plant

This paper proposes a linear generator, which can convert any mechanical energy wave or other vibration to electric energy. A mover of the proposed linear generator, which includes permanent magnets, is linearly driven through a stator, by wave energy. Nd Fe B magnets in the mover are placed so that the same magnetic poles face each other, in order to make the large change in magnetic flux in the coils of the stator. Therefore, the magnetic flux is extended through the case and reduces cancellation of the flux in the coils of the stator. In this paper permanent magnet linear generator is proposed and analyzed by means of numeric field computations and FEMM Software. It was designed for wave power energy systems to be placed in the coasts.

Experimental Investigations on Influence of Silica Fume and Steel Fiber on Concrete

In today's modernization of technological field lot of studies and trials are being carried out for manufacturing an excessive strong, long lasting and heavy duty concrete. In this study how the silica fume and steel fibers are beneficial if added to normal concrete is discussed. The results of this study depicts that the addition of silica fume and steel fibers in the normal concrete enhance the concrete properties like workability, brittleness, bond strength, corrosion resistance, fire resistance, acid resistance and ultimately increased durability of the structure which can be achieved by adding the appropriate quantity of silica fume and steel fibers. Lot of fact finding experimental examination and there analysis were carried out for fining out the compressive, split tensile and flexural behavior of composite concrete with adding different proportion of silica fume and steel fibers. The concrete mix used for this study was M30 and the addition of silica fume and stainless steel fibers was experimented with different proportions like 0 , 4 , 8 , 12 and 16 and 0 , 0.5 , 1.0 , 1.5 and 2.0 respectively. The steel fibers used in this study were of .50 mm diameter and 40 mm in length as a partial replacement of cement weight. The result after analyzing showed that when the normal concrete is mixed with silica fume and straight steel fibers in proper proportions it improves the properties and execution of composite mixture as compared to the ordinary concrete. This rational advancement can be positively accepted and utilized in the regular constructions.

A Result Paper on Experimental Study of Demolished Concrete use in Rigid Pavement Construction

India is developing country and for developing country lot of construction is required. In this study we used the demolished aggregates in the newly construction at different proportion and strength are check for that proportions. In the mix0 all normal aggregate are taken. In the mix1 12 of natural aggregates replace by demolished aggregates. In the mix2 25 of natural aggregate replace by demolished aggregates, mix3 replace by 35 and mix4 replace by 45 natural aggregates by demolished aggregates. Recycled aggregate are show low value of specific gravity and bulk density. But the water absorption of demolished aggregates is high in comparison of normal aggregate. Economical and environmental point of view demolished aggregate are the alternate source of fresh aggregates.

A Review Paper on Experimental Study of Demolished Concrete use in Rigid Pavement Construction

Today construction is increasing very fast rate and due to increase in construction concrete waste is produced in large amount. So for dispose of this waste large amount of land fill is required and also it impacts the environment condition. In this study we use this demolished waste concrete by replacing normal fresh aggregate. Demolished aggregate are used in the mixture of concrete in the different proportions.
