Vegetable Cultivation An Alternative Horticultural Farming in Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh

In India nearly about 10.1 million hectares of area is under vegetable farming. The country is the largest producer of ginger and okra amongst vegetables and ranks second in the production of Potatoes, Onions, Cauliflower, Brinjal, Cabbage etc. India's diverse climate ensures availability of a variety of vegetables. As per National Horticulture Board, during 2015 16, India produced 169.1 million metric tonnes of vegetables. The vast production base offers India, tremendous opportunities for the export. During 2017 18 India exported fruits and vegetables worth Rs. 9410.81 crores in which vegetables comprised of Rs 5181.78 crores. Keeping the importance of vegetable farming in view, an endeavour is made here to study the spatial patterns of vegetable crop cultivation in Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh.

Compatibility Design of Non Salient Pole Synchronous Generator

This paper is focused design calculation of 30 MVA, 11 kV, 50 Hz, two pole non salient poles synchronous generator that use in gas turbine power plant. The choices of specific loadings are magnetic loading and electric loading are involved in that design calculation. The number of rotor slot selection main considered in order to avoid the undesirable effects of harmonics in the flux density wave forms. The rotors are cylindrical in shape having parallel slots on it to place rotor windings. The design system is compatibility based on where specific magnetic loading or specific electric loading with synchronous generator generate more electrical power and to get better performance. The relation between specific loading and volume of the generator, short circuit ratio and air gap length, comparison design data and efficiency due to load changing are mainly emphasized studying in this paper.

IoT Based Home Automation System over Cloud

Internet of Things IoT is a system of interrelated computing devices where all the things, including every physical object, can be connected making those objects intelligent, programmable and capable of interacting with humans. As more and more data are generated each day, IoT and its potential to transform how we communicate with machines and each other can change the world. The user operates the smart home devices year in year out, have produced mass operation data, but these data have not been utilized well in the past. This project focuses on the development of home automation system based on internet of things which allows the user to automate all the devices and appliances of home and merge them to provide seamless control over every side of their home. The data can be used to predict the user's behavior custom with the development of a machine learning algorithm, and then the prediction results can be employed to enhance the intelligence of a smart home system. The designed system not only gives the sensor data but also process it according to the requirement, for example switching on the light when it gets dark and it allows the user to control the household devices from anywhere. The cloud is used to send the sensor data through Wi Fi module and then a decision tree is implemented which decides the output of the electronic devices also, it is used to achieve the power control and local data exchanging which provide the user interface, store all the information corresponding to the specific house, and query the function information of an individual home appliance.

Printed Antenna Design and Simulation for 5G using HFSS

With expanding number of users, the demand for better technology also increases. The fifth Generation 5G technology would be one of the best technologies to meet the need of increased capacity demand, massive connectivity better speed by using the large amount of spectrum in the millimeter wave band, with 5G it is expected to get 80 100 Mbps speed. The need for 5G technology, methodology designing of antenna and various simulations is offered. The micro strip patch antenna is used here in 5G technology is relatively inexpensive to manufacture and design because of its simple physical geometry. Micro strip Patch Antenna shows multi band characteristics and has a compact structure and hence has emerged as a promising candidate for handheld devices the proposed idea is implemented by using HFSS software which is used for antenna designing

Analytical Study of Natural Light and Ventilation in Admistrative Building of PCNTDA, Pune Region

As one of the significant parts in the building design, use of natural light and ventilation which reflects one important factor of energy conservation to some extent. To ensure that decreasing use of energy resources to the maximum extent in constructions and make buildings harmonize with their surroundings, which has become important pursuing for inhabited building, at present, integrated design is to highlight natural ventilation and natural light use as main component of building design. Urban areas continuously pollute the air in cities which affects the human health and the environment sustainability. This work analyses the provisions done in the Administrative Building for Pimpri Chinchwad New Town Development Authority PCNTDA for utilizing natural light and natural ventilation to make the occupants and users much more comfort as compare to conventional building which are not taking care of natural light and ventilation phenomenon. The provision made in the building and saving due to provisions is calculated in this research work. Komal Patil | Dr. L. S. Design Selection of Transformer on Based Load Capacities for Industrial Zone

This paper focus on one industrial zone as model of base loads consideration in where many loads power consumption are applied many kinds of transformers and specifications. That will involve the correct design selection for location of transformers and their accessories that are considered inductive loads and capacitive loads are affective active and reactive loads which are depended on their operation of each division. Load design will be important whether to reduce loss or stability of power factor while operation in running time. Load acres, load sizes and load stabilities are selected with many effectives beyond transformers are settlement in each acre. The expected operating characteristics should not be determined at the necessary protection provided.

Implementation of a Microcontroller Based Wireless Control of Domestic Electrical Appliances using the GSM Network

In this paper, the automatic control of domestic electrical appliances using a wireless network is presented. The wireless network of choice is the Global system for mobile communication, GSM. This paper presents a methodology that the communication can be extended even to inanimate devices like domestic electrical appliances such as radio, refrigerator, TV, light bulbs etc. the methodology entails the use of the feature of the GSM phone known as dual tone multi frequency DTMF. This DTMF tones are automatically generated when the buttons of a mobile phone is pressed. A DTMF to binary converter integrated circuit was used to convert the DTMF tones into binary format which is fed into the I O ports of an 8052 microcontroller. A resident program enables the DTMF codes that are received to be used to control electrical appliances. The system also has a unique feature that after an action is performed it sends back an audio tone to inform the user about the success or failure of the execution of the command.
