Experimental Analysis and Effect of Coating on HSS Cutting Tool

In this paper the wear behavior of High Speed Steel HSS Single Point Cutting tool and Titanium Nitride TiN , Aluminium chromium nitride AlCrN coated by physical vapor deposition method PVD , HSS single point cutting tools in dry condition of simple turning process is investigated and compared with respect to its chip tool Interface temperature, turning time, upcoming forces, on each tool is studied and analyzed. The present work involves the study of tool wear caused by the change in hardness of single point cutting tool for a turning operation to predict the tool life in turning process based on temperature and force, stress analysis using Ansys workbench 14.0. Experiments were performed with M.S bar as work piece and HSS coated, uncoated tool bits as a tool material and the single point wear of tool has been measured experimentally.

Design for Harvesting and Treatment of Rainwater in Naval, Biliran

The study takes advantage of rainwater, a naturally processed water. Developing a design for an affordable, less chemically oriented method that would help many people gain access to the water they need easily. The design used materials that w
ere cheap and can be easily accessed on the local market. The process starts from a stage where large particles of contaminants were removed through straining. The next was iltering the water through a sequence of sponge, charcoal, coarse and fine sand. And lastly was chlorination, which treated the rainwater from the bacteria's which were previously not removed from the filter. The study came up with the design that were easily availed on the local markets of Naval, Biliran. The components were easy to install and were effective in harvesting rainwater. The treatment results were not what the researchers envisioned it to be, but still they were able to produce safe drinking water. Sure enough, it could be an alternative for other uses aside from drinking. The design was incomplete, especially on the part of the treatment device thus, further studies are recommended for its improvement. Nevertheless, the study proved that simple customized rainwater harvester and treatment device is achievable with the materials that can easily be found on the local market.

Implementation of Recommendation on Location Based Services

Today mobile is very useful thing. It is a need of everybody. In every Era "Location" is a strong component of "Mobility" Location based services LBS are services offered using mobile phone by taking mobile's geographical location. The proposed system is providing location based services and offers with respect to user interest. Vendors are allowed to post and edit an advertisement for users. The system contains various modules such as advertising , Tourist place, Parking place etc. It also provides user's feedback, ranking based suggestion in secured manner. The purpose of this system is to notify the user based on their preferences and their interest in the particular area and notify them using android application. This will lead to lower advertising costs and expenditures also save the time of user for finding the located area of ads with help of GPS.

Production and Characterization of Biodiesel Fuel Derived from Neem Azadirachta Indica Seed using Two Cylinder Diesel Engine Model

As the decreasing availability of the fossil fuel is rising day by day, the search for alternate fuel that can be used as a substitute to the conventional fuels is rising rapidly. A new type of biofuel, Neem oil biodiesel, is introduced in this work for the purpose of fuelling diesel engine. Neem oil was extracted from neem seed by solvent extraction method and biodiesel was produced by transesterification method. The percentage yield of Neem oil and biodiesel were found to be 40 and 75 respectively. The properties were simulated in a model produced using GT power suite. The engine speed was varied and engine performance such as brake power, brake specific fuel consumption, brake mean effective pressure and the emission of biodiesel and petroleum diesel at various speed were determined and compared. The results show the improve performance of biodiesel. The performance characteristics of an engine were studied with biodiesel and petro diesel. The brake power 31.25 kW, brake torque 102.8 N mare found higher at 3600 rpm case 1 and 1200 rpm case 4 respectively. In biodiesel, specific fuel consumption is found more than the petro diesel and the CO and CO2 emission were found lower in biodiesel than petro diesel. The biodiesel have shown better performance than the petro diesel.

A Mobile Application for Bus E Ticketing System

In cities, the buses are the nerves of the cities. However, there are many bus operations, which were operated manually. The manual and traditional system takes a lot of time and the tickets cost being of odd amounts and many other different problems while buying tickets. Also in this advance world we are dependent on the paper tickets where the emergence of mobile devices are rapidly increasing among users so here is a solution. In proposed system ticket can be bought with just a smart phone application and, where you can carry your tickets in your smart phone. It uses the smart phones facility to validate and delete your ticket automatically after a specific interval of time. User's ticket information is stored in a database for security purpose which is missing in the present urban system. Also the ticket checker is provided with a mobile based application to search for the user's ticket with the ticket number which is stored in the database for checking purposes.

Evaluation of Efficiency and Performances of Building Materials used in Sudan Combined with Lead as the Gamma Ray Shieldings

In this study the linear attenuation coefficient µ and the half value layer HVL of some building materials like iron, concrete, cement and clay used in Sudan as a combined with the lead have been investigated, the results have been experimentally determined using Cs 137 and Co 60 source and compared with the theoretical values. The measurements were performed for radiation intensity without shielding and with specific thickness of selected samples using ion chamber placed at 2 meters from Cs 137 and Co 60. An obtained results showed that the linear attenuation coefficient µ has a linear relationship with the corresponding densities of the samples studied and inversely with photon energy, and the half value layer HVL was proportional directly with photon energy. As a results of this evaluation the lead combined with the selected materials as indicated above showed an improvement the efficiency of building materials as the gamma ray shielding.

Electronegativity A Force or Energy

Electronegativity as force or energy leads to new ansatz at critical point in binding or bonding state in between two similar atoms or dissimilar atoms. Electronegativity as a quantum mechanical entity energy or non quantum entity force is yet to be answered. The dual approach to electronegativity has been discussed in this paper. The aim of this paper is to prove that Electronegativity as Hellman Feynman Force is more accurate and absolute. Electronegativity has been computed using the Hartree Fock and Rothan Hrtree Fock energy equations and equivalent electrostatic force equation.
