Enhancing Survival during Fire Accidents using Quad Copter

Quad copters are unmanned Ariel Vehicle UAV , generally a miniature model of helicopter lifted in the air using four rotors attached with propellers. The unmanned vehicles is widely used and it is one of the growing applications in various domains. It can be attributed to the ability of operating in inaccessible areas, reducing the human loss in major accidents, and making it easily accessible to dangerous conditions. The main target of this paper is to explain the usage of drone in fire fighting accidents and its rescue. This paper focuses on the components that can be used for a fire fighting drone to reduce the overall weight and cost for developing the drone.

Detection and Intimation of Human Presence using UAV Drones

Quad copter is capable of achieving a vertical flight. It can fly in a stable manner and can be used to monitor and collect data in a specific form from different regions. The Unmanned Aerial Vehicles UAVs are being operated in risky environment and its use is becoming more common day by day. We can make use of these unmanned aerial vehicles as a platform which supports the use of various sensors, and other computer operated systems which help us to reach even those areas that are currently inaccessible and can perform the required tasks with ease. Finding the people who are trapped due to some natural disasters is very hard because we are not aware of their exact location thereby making it very time consuming and a complex process. The main application of this drone is detecting the presence of humans where natural disasters have affected the surrounding areas and giving intimation by means of a GSM to the nearby rescue team.

Precision Farming

precision mean ”the quality of being clear or exact”. Farmer tries hard to get the result but we need the smart way and result oriented. The history of India's development has been inexorably linked to that of its farmers, and the nation's growth with that of its agronomics. Agronomics provides highest contribution to nation income. Agronomics needed top most priority because the Government and the nation would both fail to succeed if agronomics could not be successful. Today we are living in 21st century where automation is playing significant role in human life.

Automation allows us to control appliances automatic control. Today industries are using automation and control machine which is high in cost and not suitable for using in a field. So as to help both government and our farmer, we can use intelligent irrigation techniques with the use of IoT internet of things and by building network of farmer and agriculturist to share their ideas and experience, as a full fledged force solution to the need .this can be easily done by organizing and analysing the live and collected over time data ,allowing farmers to take pre emptive action for healthy harvest of their crops collecting live data using sensors which are placed across the land further sent to the cloud further under taking predictive analytics to enhance crops nutrition thus using predictive analysis on data to find better solution. The IoT connected devices stream live data on the land allowing data informed decisions on planning the resources and harvesting of farm.

Broadcasting Emergency Message in VANET during an Emergency Event

Broadcasting emergency message to vehicles in the region in advance to reduce accidence so that the vehicle can take preventive measure to avoid accidents. It is a big provocation to broadcast emergence messages to the exact vehicle at right time without any delivery latency. Even though many protocol have been proposed to deliver emergency message in Vehicular ad hoc networks VANETs they suffer from many issues, like some protocols obligatory to receive nearby information to broadcast emergency message which again raise delivery latency. We propose a new protocol which reduce delivery latency during broadcasting emergency message to the vehicle nearby without creating any chaos to the vehicles in the adjacent lane.

An Experimental Study on Properties of Concrete using Granite Dust and Flyash as a Partial Replacement of Fine Aggregate and Cement

Concrete is the most widely used construction material in the world it is a mixture of cement, sand, coarse aggregate and water. Storage and safe disposal of industrial byproduct such as fly ash and granite dust is a huge problem everywhere, reuse of these waste eliminates reduce the problem. In this experiment fine aggregate is replaced 0 , 10 , 20 , 30 and 40 of its weight by granite dust and cement is replaced 10 of its weight by fly ash in all concrete mix and there effects are studied. In this experiment the compressive strength of the concrete is increased. It is found that the strength increases with the replacement of cement and fine aggregate by fly ash at about 10 and granite dust at about 40 , and beyond this the workability of concrete will not achieved.

Review Paper on Properties of Concrete using Granite Dust and Fly Ash as a Partial Replacement of Fine Aggregate and Cement

Concrete is the most widely used construction material in the world it is a mixture of cement, sand, coarse aggregate and water. Cement is binding material in the cement concrete and its role is to provide strength to concrete. Cement fills up voids existing in the fine aggregate and makes the concrete impermeable. Provides strength to concrete on setting and hardening and binds the aggregate into a solid mass by virtue of its setting and hardening properties when mixed with water. Fine aggregate consist of small angular or rounded grains of silica. It is commonly used as the fine aggregate in cement concrete. It fills the voids existing in the coarse aggregate it reduces shrinkage cracking of concrete. It helps in hardening of cement by allowing the water through its voids. To form hard mass of silicates as it is believed that some chemical reaction take place between silica of sand and constituents of cement, Coarse aggregate makes solid and hard mass of concrete with cement and sand .it increase the crushing strength of concrete.

An Experimental Study on Partial Replacement of Aggregate by E Waste for Flexible Pavement

In India, bituminous surfaced flexible pavements comprise of majority of the roads. Distress symptoms, such as cracking, rutting, etc. are being increasingly caused at earlier stages due to high traffic intensity, over loading of vehicles and significant variations in daily and seasonal temperature of the pavement. Investigations have revealed that modifiers can be used to improve rheological properties of bitumen and bituminous mixes to make it more suitable for road construction.

Bituminous mix design involves mixing various size aggregate and bitumen contents in optimum proportions. Electronic waste or e waste are the discarded electrical or electronic items, which are destined for reuse, resale, recycling or disposal. Informal processing of electronic electrical waste in developing countries may cause serious health and pollution problems, as these countries have limited regulatory oversight of e waste processing. Solid waste management is one of the major environmental concerns in our country now days. The present study covers the use or recycled e wastes as replacement of coarse aggregates in bitumen. The objective of the study is to investigate the change in mechanical properties of bitumen mix with the addition of e wastes in bitumen concrete as replacement of aggregate.
