Broadcasting Emergency Message in VANET during an Emergency Event

Broadcasting emergency message to vehicles in the region in advance to reduce accidence so that the vehicle can take preventive measure to avoid accidents. It is a big provocation to broadcast emergence messages to the exact vehicle at right time without any delivery latency. Even though many protocol have been proposed to deliver emergency message in Vehicular ad hoc networks VANETs they suffer from many issues, like some protocols obligatory to receive nearby information to broadcast emergency message which again raise delivery latency. We propose a new protocol which reduce delivery latency during broadcasting emergency message to the vehicle nearby without creating any chaos to the vehicles in the adjacent lane.

An Experimental Study on Properties of Concrete using Granite Dust and Flyash as a Partial Replacement of Fine Aggregate and Cement

Concrete is the most widely used construction material in the world it is a mixture of cement, sand, coarse aggregate and water. Storage and safe disposal of industrial byproduct such as fly ash and granite dust is a huge problem everywhere, reuse of these waste eliminates reduce the problem. In this experiment fine aggregate is replaced 0 , 10 , 20 , 30 and 40 of its weight by granite dust and cement is replaced 10 of its weight by fly ash in all concrete mix and there effects are studied. In this experiment the compressive strength of the concrete is increased. It is found that the strength increases with the replacement of cement and fine aggregate by fly ash at about 10 and granite dust at about 40 , and beyond this the workability of concrete will not achieved.

Review Paper on Properties of Concrete using Granite Dust and Fly Ash as a Partial Replacement of Fine Aggregate and Cement

Concrete is the most widely used construction material in the world it is a mixture of cement, sand, coarse aggregate and water. Cement is binding material in the cement concrete and its role is to provide strength to concrete. Cement fills up voids existing in the fine aggregate and makes the concrete impermeable. Provides strength to concrete on setting and hardening and binds the aggregate into a solid mass by virtue of its setting and hardening properties when mixed with water. Fine aggregate consist of small angular or rounded grains of silica. It is commonly used as the fine aggregate in cement concrete. It fills the voids existing in the coarse aggregate it reduces shrinkage cracking of concrete. It helps in hardening of cement by allowing the water through its voids. To form hard mass of silicates as it is believed that some chemical reaction take place between silica of sand and constituents of cement, Coarse aggregate makes solid and hard mass of concrete with cement and sand .it increase the crushing strength of concrete.

An Experimental Study on Partial Replacement of Aggregate by E Waste for Flexible Pavement

In India, bituminous surfaced flexible pavements comprise of majority of the roads. Distress symptoms, such as cracking, rutting, etc. are being increasingly caused at earlier stages due to high traffic intensity, over loading of vehicles and significant variations in daily and seasonal temperature of the pavement. Investigations have revealed that modifiers can be used to improve rheological properties of bitumen and bituminous mixes to make it more suitable for road construction.

Bituminous mix design involves mixing various size aggregate and bitumen contents in optimum proportions. Electronic waste or e waste are the discarded electrical or electronic items, which are destined for reuse, resale, recycling or disposal. Informal processing of electronic electrical waste in developing countries may cause serious health and pollution problems, as these countries have limited regulatory oversight of e waste processing. Solid waste management is one of the major environmental concerns in our country now days. The present study covers the use or recycled e wastes as replacement of coarse aggregates in bitumen. The objective of the study is to investigate the change in mechanical properties of bitumen mix with the addition of e wastes in bitumen concrete as replacement of aggregate.

Review Paper on Experimental Study on the use of Modified Bitumen using E Waste as a Partial Replacement of Aggregate

On the greater part of streets, ordinary bitumen performs agreeably. In any case, high activity power, expanding hub load and day by day and regular varieties in temperature of the asphalt prompt an early improvement of misery side effects like raveling, rutting, undulations, breaking, dying, and potholing of bituminous surfaces. Subsequently the heap bearing limits of the street is to be expanded. Adaptable asphalts bitumen streets involve the significant segment of all surfaced streets.

In India, it is evaluated that more than 33 need kilometers of street exists and out of which of which around half is surfaced. Street transport has obtained prevailing position among the different methods of transportation framework because of its adaptability, way to entryway administration, unwavering quality and speed. In India, street transport conveys near 90 of traveler movement and 70 of cargo transport. In India, dominant part of the asphalts is bituminous since they expend lesser beginning cost when contrasted and inflexible asphalts

i.e. bond solid asphalts. Examinations in India and nations abroad have uncovered that properties of bitumen and bituminous blends can be enhanced to meet prerequisites of asphalt with the consolidation of specific added substances or mix of added substances. These added substances are called Bitumen Modifiers and the bitumen premixed with these modifiers is known as altered bitumen. Adjusted bitumen is relied upon to give higher existence of surfacing up to 100 contingent on level of alteration and sort of added substances and change process utilized. Distinctive sorts of modifiers utilized are Polymers, Normal Elastic and Morsel Elastic.

Minimization of Starting Torque and Inrush Current of Induction Motor by Different Starting Methods using MATLAB SIMULINK

Induction motors are considered nowadays the most commonly used electrical machines, which are mainly used as electrical induction motors and sometimes as generators. This is mainly due to the simplicity of composition, low price, light weight, high reliability, easy to command and control performance and not containing parts that could easily breakdown compared with DC machines and synchronous machines. Starting the IM is the most important and dangerous step, where the motor properties play a major role in the evaluation of all electrical motors, and these properties are defined by the following factors Starting torque. starting current. transient state. smoothness of the starting, simplicity and economics of starting. In this paper, three different methods of starting three phase Induction Motor are discussed and compared through curves of currents, torque, speed. These methods are Direct On Line, Auto Transformer, Star Delta, for a constant power load condition. Simulation is made in MATLAB SIMULINK and comparatively results are estimated to evaluate the best starting method for different range of induction motor rating.
