Authentication through Claims-Based Authentication

Thinking as far as claims and issuers is an effective reflection that backs better approaches for securing your application. Claims have an understanding with the issuer and allow the claims of the user to be accepted only if the claims are issued by a trusted issuer. Authentication and authorization is explicit in CBAC as compared to other approaches. [1].

Productivity Improvement in a Sewing Line Through Line Balancing in a Garment Manufacturing Company in the Philippines

In any manufacturing company, productivity in terms of quality and cost required in doing the operation is the topmost priority to be considered. Productivity improvement was studied through the use of time and motion study and line balancing concept in one of the clusters of a sewing line in a garment manufacturing company. Series of observations in the line and direct interviews among the regular personnel involved in the operation were done including the sewers, pressers, and supervisors in charge of the assembly line.

It was noted that the average productivity rate of the selected assembly line was only seventy-one (71) percent way down below from their target output. Based on the findings of the study, plant layout was one of the contributing factors that causes bottleneck in the assembly line particularly in the pairing and aligning of cut goods.

Task time involved in each process was studied and computed based on optimal number of manpower and expected productivity rate. In effect, combining the processes of pairing and aligning of cut goods in one line contributes great impact in reduction of machine requirements per process to improve the productivity rate of the company.

Predefined Height Measurement of the Slab in Plate Mill

In the past 20 years, we can see various changes in the rate of production in industries. This has been achieved with the help of advanced technologies which leads to the growth of industries. The challenging problem of height measurement of the slab in plate mill as well as in rail mill is an active field of research in automation. The reheating furnace and the rolling mill can be considered as two main process in a plate mill. Reheating is thermal process while rolling is mechanical process.

Reheating furnace is used for heating iron blocks, which is the raw material for the plate mill and the rolling mill is used for turning the steel block to the plate by making it wider, thinner and longer .The main feature of interest in the operation of furnace is the production capacity, measurement of the dimension of the block and display it to the seven segment display board using microcontroller.

The production capacity of plate mill affects by the operation of the process and to obtain proper production, dimension should be accurate .That's why before entering of bloom between the rollers, there will be a display system which will give the exact dimension of the block.

Multi Objective Optimization of Near-Dry EDM using MOORA-PCA based Taguchi Optimization Method

In any machining operation, the correct and optimized selection of process parameters is the most important aspect. Particularly in Electric Discharge Machining (EDM) also, its process parameters should be optimized to get the best result. Near-Dry EDM is an advancement in conventional EDM process, which is an eco-friendly process compared to the conventional EDM. In this paper work has attempted to simultaneously optimize all the parameters of near-dry EDM. Near-dry EDM uses liquid-gas mixture as dielectric. Input parameters considered are discharge current, gap voltage, air pressure, pulse on time electrode material and duty factor.

The performance parameters were material removal rate (MRR), tool wear rate (TWR) and surface roughness (Ra). L18 orthogonal array based on Taguchi method is used as design of experiment. For multi objective optimization MOORA combined with PCA analysis is used and then Taguchi method is applied.

Privacy Protection and Intrusion Avoidance for Cloudlet-Based Medical Data Sharing

With the ubiquity of wearable gadgets, alongside the advancement of clouds and cloudlet innovation, there has been expanding need to give better medical care. The preparing chain of medical information mostly incorporates information accumulation, information stockpiling and information sharing, and so forth. Customary medicinal services system regularly requires the conveyance of medical information to the cloud, which includes clients' delicate data and causes correspondence vitality utilization. For all intents and purposes, medical information sharing is a basic and testing issue.

Subsequently in this paper, we develop a novel social insurance system by using the adaptability of cloudlet. The elements of cloudlet incorporate security insurance, information sharing and intrusion detection. In the phase of information accumulation, we initially use Number Theory Research Unit (NTRU) strategy to scramble client's body information gathered by wearable gadgets.

Those information will be transmitted to close-by cloudlet in a vitality productive design. Furthermore, we exhibit another trust model to help clients to choose trustable accomplices who need to share put away information in the cloudlet. The trust display additionally causes comparable patients to speak with each other about their infections.

Implementation of MSK Modulation Scheme for Zigbee System / IEEE 802.15.4 Physical Layer

In this work physical layer simulation of IEEE 802.15.4 / ZigBee protocol has been done. The proposed work is the implementation of ZigBee system according to the protocol description. In this work we have simulated ZigBee system first with conventional OQPSK modulation technique, then the simulations are performed for MSK modulation, which is through OQPSK modulation. Simulation results for BER showing the average 79.43 % improvement in BER for Proposed MSK compared with OQPSK modulation scheme.

For a target BER of 10-2 the SNR required is 4 dB for this work i.e. for MSK, as compared to 10 dB for conventional OQPSK. Hence, an improvement of 6 dB less SNR. For a target BER of 10-2 the SNR required is 4 dB for this work i.e. for MSK, as compared to 5.2 dB with [1]. Hence, an improvement of 1.2 dB less SNR.
