Memory Management in BigData: A Perpective View

The requirement to perform complicated statistic analysis of big data by institutions of engineering, scientific research, health care, commerce, banking and computer research is immense. However, the limitations of the widely used current desktop software like R, excel, minitab and spss gives a researcher limitation to deal with big data and big data analytic tools like IBM BigInsight, HP Vertica, SAP HANA & Pentaho come at an overpriced license. Apache Hadoop is an open source distributed computing framework that uses commodity hardware.

With this project, I intend to collaborate Apache Hadoop and R software to develop an analytic platform that stores big data (using open source Apache Hadoop) and perform statistical analysis (using open source R software).Due to the limitations of vertical scaling of computer unit, data storage is handled by several machines and so analysis becomes distributed over all these machines. Apache Hadoop is what comes handy in this environment. To store massive quantities of data as required by researchers, we could use commodity hardware and perform analysis in distributed environment.

Review Paper on Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) for Fuzzy Logy Algorithms

Wireless Sensor Networks is a group of spatially dispersed dedicated sensors to monitor and record an environment's physical conditions and to organize collected data at a central location (Xiao 2004). Wireless Sensor networks (WSNs) have become one of the most interesting areas of research in the past few years. A WSN is composed of a number of wireless sensor nodes which form a sensor field and a sink.

These large numbers of nodes, having the abilities to sense their surroundings, perform limited computation and communicate wirelessly form the WSNs. It is enjoy great benefits due to their very low cost, small scale, smart sensor nodes etc. Applications of wireless sensor networks such as: span environmental, animal monitoring, industrial monitoring, agricultural monitoring, automation, health monitoring and many other areas. In this paper review on WSN, literature and analysis of fuzzy loge algorithm for consider different numbers of Node and cluster like 100, 200 and 300.

Analysis and Modification of Scissor Jack

Every manufacturing product requires cost efficient method and its variation in application maintaining its natural structure as well as assign service life keeping failure parameters in mind we are focused on our intention of designing, modifying and analyzing the jack model for actual loads for varying models on different applications. We are keen at making the scissor jack cost effective and at the same time maintaining its strength and life span. Also the new design that made by SOLIDWORKS software can be tested by ANSYS software. The overall strength of the jack is relatively more compared to commercially available screw jacks.

Car jacks that are commercially available has some disadvantages such as required more energy to operate, not usable for aged people and cannot be used on the uneven and rough surface. The main purpose and significance of this paper is to design, optimize and standardize the current toggle jack to make the task easier and reliable.

Comparative Analysis & Design of Regular & Irregular Building & its Behaviour at Different Earthquake Zone by Using Etabs & Rcdc Software

In civil structure static analysis is perform for R.C.C frame regular and irregular building upto G+15 storey by using 'œResponse Spectrum Method'. The problems introduced due to discontinuity in stiffness, mass and geometry of structure.IS codes are used for design of various civil engineering structures and their specification. These elements are designed by using software ETABS. And consider seismic load and wind load. For load combination use code IS 1893:2002.

Irregular building is compared in all four zones. The designing has been carried out in ETABS software (software that deals with analysing and designing of structures. This software is easy to understand for user). All the building structure and modelled analysed and then designed for all four zones.

All model are analysis in ETABS software and design in RCDC software and their results are obtained in all seismic zones. The base shear force, volume of concrete, weight of steel and cost effectiveness have been calculated to depict all the differences in structure behaviour when analysed and design in all four zones by using ETABS and RCDC software.

ZETA Converter for Speed Control of Electronically Commutated BLDC Motor

A Power Factor Correction (PFC) and sensor less speed control of BLDC (Brushless DC) motor using zeta converter is presented. Zeta converter is a fourth-order DC-DC converter made up of two inductors and two capacitors and capable of operating in either step-up or stepdown mode. The PFC is achieved by zeta converter. Sensor less speed control of BLDC motor is achieved and the cost and wiring of sensors are reduced.

A MATLAB/ Simulink environment is used to simulate the developed model to achieve a wide range of speed control with high PF (Power Factor) and improved PQ (Power Quality) at the supply.

Effect of Partial Replacement of Sand by Mild Steel Filings in Concrete

Metals waste materials create serious environmental problems, mainly owing to the inconsistency of the waste streams. Mild steel filings are very small pieces of steel that look like a steel fiber. They are very often used in science demonstrations to show the direction of a magnetic field. The purpose of this project is to evaluate the possibility of using mild steel filings as one of the components of concrete mix.

Five different percentage of mild steel filing were added to concrete mix to measure the variation which may be obtained in compression and tensile strength of concrete after 7 & 28 days. A number of standard cubes and cylinders were casted and tested in this study using 0% (control), 10%,15%, 20% and 25% of mild steel filing in concrete mix.

Concrete cubes of size 150mm x150mm x 150mm and cylinders will be prepared and tested for compressive strength and tensile strength respectively after 7 and 28 days. A result data obtained has been analyzed and compared with a control specimen. Result data clearly shows percentage increase in 7 and 28 days compressive strength and flexural strength.
