Comparative Analysis & Design of Regular & Irregular Building & its Behaviour at Different Earthquake Zone by Using Etabs & Rcdc Software

In civil structure static analysis is perform for R.C.C frame regular and irregular building upto G+15 storey by using 'œResponse Spectrum Method'. The problems introduced due to discontinuity in stiffness, mass and geometry of structure.IS codes are used for design of various civil engineering structures and their specification. These elements are designed by using software ETABS. And consider seismic load and wind load. For load combination use code IS 1893:2002.

Irregular building is compared in all four zones. The designing has been carried out in ETABS software (software that deals with analysing and designing of structures. This software is easy to understand for user). All the building structure and modelled analysed and then designed for all four zones.

All model are analysis in ETABS software and design in RCDC software and their results are obtained in all seismic zones. The base shear force, volume of concrete, weight of steel and cost effectiveness have been calculated to depict all the differences in structure behaviour when analysed and design in all four zones by using ETABS and RCDC software.

ZETA Converter for Speed Control of Electronically Commutated BLDC Motor

A Power Factor Correction (PFC) and sensor less speed control of BLDC (Brushless DC) motor using zeta converter is presented. Zeta converter is a fourth-order DC-DC converter made up of two inductors and two capacitors and capable of operating in either step-up or stepdown mode. The PFC is achieved by zeta converter. Sensor less speed control of BLDC motor is achieved and the cost and wiring of sensors are reduced.

A MATLAB/ Simulink environment is used to simulate the developed model to achieve a wide range of speed control with high PF (Power Factor) and improved PQ (Power Quality) at the supply.

Performance and Emission Characteristics of a V.C.R C.I Engine using Chicken Waste Based Bio-Diesel with Blended Fuels

This project deals with the preparation of Oil (extraction of oil) from the chicken waste which is obtained from tri-glycerides through the transesterification process to find Performance and emission characteristics of V.C.R diesel engine with ratio 18:1 fuelled with rendered chicken oil with five different blends at speed 1500rpm. The chicken oil is prepared from waste chicken available at poultry form. The blends are made as B0, B5, B10, B15, B20, & B25. The performance characteristics like specific fuel Consumption, brake power, indicated power, brake thermal efficiency, indicated thermal efficiency and mechanical efficiency are evaluated and made comparison. This report explains the emission characteristics of all blended bio-fuels at different loads

Effect of Partial Replacement of Sand by Mild Steel Filings in Concrete

Metals waste materials create serious environmental problems, mainly owing to the inconsistency of the waste streams. Mild steel filings are very small pieces of steel that look like a steel fiber. They are very often used in science demonstrations to show the direction of a magnetic field. The purpose of this project is to evaluate the possibility of using mild steel filings as one of the components of concrete mix.

Five different percentage of mild steel filing were added to concrete mix to measure the variation which may be obtained in compression and tensile strength of concrete after 7 & 28 days. A number of standard cubes and cylinders were casted and tested in this study using 0% (control), 10%,15%, 20% and 25% of mild steel filing in concrete mix.

Concrete cubes of size 150mm x150mm x 150mm and cylinders will be prepared and tested for compressive strength and tensile strength respectively after 7 and 28 days. A result data obtained has been analyzed and compared with a control specimen. Result data clearly shows percentage increase in 7 and 28 days compressive strength and flexural strength.

Image Retrieval for Minority Costume by using Color Histogram and Edge orientation (EO) Histogram Technique

It is very significant to know the different minority costumes which are vanishing now a day which is used for minority culture protection and inheritance. To get the exact results for image retrieval there is need of a novel image feature representation method which is used to show the rich information of minority costume image. In this implementation first image is divided into image sub-blocks and then from that image calculate both color histogram as well as edge orientation histogram separately.

The final feature used for minority costume image retrieval is fusion or integration of both color histogram and edge orientation histogram. At last improved Canberra distance is calculated for the input query image and retrieved output image. For the performance analysis there is use of self-build minority costume image dataset. MATLAB analysis results show that integrated technique of image retrieval will give outperforming results for characteristics such as color, texture, shape and spatial information, in comparison to existing technique proposed work will give higher and stable retrieval accuracy.

Deep Learning Techniques, Applications and Challenges: An Assessment

Deep learning is an emerging research area in machine learning and pattern recognition field. Deep learning refers to machine learning techniques that use supervised or unsupervised strategies to automatically learn hierarchical representations in deep architectures for classification. The objective is to discover more abstract features in the higher levels of the representation, by using neural networks which easily separates the various explanatory factors in the data. In the recent years it has attracted much attention due to its state-of-the-art performance in diverse areas like object perception, speech recognition, computer vision, collaborative filtering and natural language processing.

As the data keeps getting bigger, deep learning is coming to play a key role in providing big data predictive analytics solutions. This paper presents a brief overview of deep learning, techniques, current research efforts and the challenges involved in it.

Retrieval Process in Cloud Computing: An Assessment

This paper presents the survey on data storage and retrieval in cloud computing. In this paper the study on scope and security issues related to data storage and information retrieval in cloud computing is done. Data storage and retrieval with data security is typical issue in today's scenario. The main objective of cloud computing is to enables users with limited computational resources to outsource their large computation workloads to the cloud.

The integrity and confidentiality of the data uploaded by the user is ensured doubly by not only encrypting it but also providing access to the data only on successful authentication. In this paper the different security problems existing in the cloud was identified and solutions for the same have suggested.
