Anti - Theft Vehicle Device

Nowadays rate of vehicle theft is very high all through the world and the situations are even worse in developing country. The existing technologies for vehicle security have a number of limitations including high false alarm rate, easy deactivation and high cost. Therefore, protection of vehicles with an intelligent, reliable, effective and economical system is extremely essential for public vehicles. So. in order to bring a solution for this problem the proposed system can be implemented. Anti-Theft Vehicle System is installed in the vehicle, to track the place of the vehicle and to lock the engine motor, thereby controlling it. [1]

Clinical Depression Detection Using Speech Feature With Machine Learning Approach

Depression is a general mental health disorder that presents state of low mood, negative thoughts, mental disturbance, typically with lack of energy , difficulty in maintaining concentration, guilty, irritable, restless and cognitive difficulties such as lose interest in different new things. Clinical depression is a major risk factor in suicides and is associated with high mortality rates, therefore making it one of the leading causes of death worldwide every year. The landmark World Health organisation(WHO) Global Burden of Disease (GBD) quantified depression as the second highest leading cause of disability world-wide[1].

It is observed that, there is increase in tendency of clinical depression in adolescents (i.e. age between 13'“20 years) has been linked to a range of serious problem, basically an increase in the number of suicide attempts and deaths. This is making public health concern. In this project we are detecting whether the person is in depression or not using tensor flow software.

There various biomarkers of depression like facial expressions, speech, pupil, T-body shape, MRI, EEG, etc. Here we are processing on speech feature extracted from database by SVM technique. Again among features of speech like TEO, MFCC, pitch, etc. Here we are extracting MFCC feature of speech from database.

An Efficient Algorithm for Hiding Text in Encrypted Domain of Image using Histogram Shifting Method

In this paper we have proposed an efficient algorithm for hiding text in various images using histogram shifting method. In this algorithm we have found locations of maximum and minimum repeated pixels. Then location of maximum repeated pixels is considered and location of minimum repeated pixels is avoided. We have analyzed this algorithm in MATLAB simulation tool. We have computed peak signal to noise ratio, mean square error, maximum embedded bits and maximum capacity.

Municipal Solid Waste and its Management (A Study on Varanasi City)

The main aim of this research is to find out the status of municipal solid waste generation and its composition along with the relationship of economic condition of different inhabitants with per capita of waste composition in Varanasi, the most crowded city in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Municipal Solid waste (MSW) is a heterogeneous in composition and varied from place to place. Increasing population levels as well as rapid economic growth and rise in living standard of people speeded the generation rate of municipal solid waste in metropolitan cities of India.

The objective of this paper is to providing an insight of the stages of waste management i.e. Prevention, Minimization, Recycle, Reuse, Energy recovery, Disposal and its composition and amount in order to improve the current solid waste management practice of Varanasi municipality and also to provides a further insight of feasibility and aids of adopting segregation at source and decentralization of solid waste management in order to provide better future.

Research data is gathered from preliminary field investigation, questionnaire survey and face to face interview which show that with population of around 11,98,491[1]waste generated is 593TPD which comprises of food waste (29.6%), followed by plastic (18%), paper & cardboard (12.8%), textile (8.5%), rubber & leather ( 5.7% ), bulk waste ( 9.6%) metal (2.8%) other (5.7%). Since about 15% ( nearly 80 ton ) of compost is produced from an average of 500-600 metric ton which is sold at Rs.1,000 per ton if decentralization and segregation of waste at its generation point is done effectively it would be sold at Rs.415 per ton result in better standard of living society.

out of 593 TPD waste only nearly 350 TPD which would lead to dispose much less amount then current scenario as a result reduction in GHGs emission and lead to creation of safe environment. Thus on the basis of above research we can conclude that solid waste management and recycling a major issue of Varanasi district and with proper segregation and decentralization of solid waste we can reuse and recycle various kind of waste depending upon nature of waste. As a result less amount of waste need to be disposed which further lead to reduction of greenhouse gas emission and thus would help to lower down carbon footprint.

Design of Low Power High Speed D-Latch Using Stacked Inverter and Sleep Transistor at 32nm CMOS Technology

In this paper we have proposed efficient designs of low power high speed D-latch designed using stacked inverter and sleep transistor based on 32nm CMOS technology. We have designed and simulated these circuits in HSpice simulation tool. In this simulation we have modified W/L ratio of each transistor in the circuit. We have taken power supply of 0.9V. We have calculated average power consumed propagation delay and power delay product.

Optimizing Strength of A Retaining Wall By Altering Reinforcement Details

Retaining walls are structures designed to restrain soil to a slope that it would not naturally keep to (typically a steep, near-vertical or vertical slope). The most important consideration in proper design and installation of retaining walls is to recognize and counteract the tendency of the retained material to move downslope due to gravity. This creates lateral earth pressure behind the wall which depends on the angle of internal friction (phi) and the cohesive strength (c) of the retained material, as well as the direction and magnitude of movement the retaining structure undergoes.

Lateral earth pressures are zero at the top of the wall and '“ in homogenous ground '“ increase proportionally to a maximum value at the lowest depth. Earth pressures will push the wall forward or overturn it if not properly addressed. Also, any groundwater behind the wall that is not dissipated by a drainage system causes hydrostatic pressure on the wall. The total pressure or thrust may be assumed to act at one-third from the lowest depth for lengthwise stretches of uniform height.

Unless the wall is designed to retain water, It is important to have proper drainage behind the wall in order to limit the pressure to the wall's design value. Drainage materials will reduce or eliminate the hydrostatic pressure and improve the stability of the material behind the wall. Drystone retaining walls are normally self-draining. As an example, the International Building Code requires retaining walls to be designed to ensure stability against overturning, sliding, excessive foundation pressure and water uplift; and that they be designed for a safety factor of 1.5 against lateral sliding and overturning.

The main aim of this study is to see behaviour and analysis of retaining wall with the different reinforcement detailing using software. Performing different practical model test. Comparison of strength and cost of retaining wall with and without altering reinforcement details.

Power Factor Correction of a Single Phase AC to DC Interleaved Boost Converter using Fuzzy Logic Controller

This paper describes the design of a fuzzy logic controller using voltage output as feedback for significantly improving the dynamic performance of single phase AC to DC power factor correction interleaved boost converter by using Simulink/MATLAB software and validate the result by the 600W converter hardware. The objective of this proposed methodology is to develop fuzzy logic controller on control Power Factor Correction PFC interleaved boost AC to DC converter using Simulink/MATLAB software.

The fuzzy logic controller has been implemented to the system by developing fuzzy logic control algorithm. The design and calculation of the components especially for the inductor has been done to ensure the converter operates in continuous conduction mode. The evaluation of the output has been carried out and compared by software simulation using MATLAB software between the open loop and closed loop circuit. The simulation results are shown that voltage output is able to be control in steady state condition for single phase AC to DC power factor correction interleaved boost converter by using this methodology.

The focus of this paper involves the design and implementation of an interleaved PFC for high performance and small size, the controller design and implementation of boost DC/DC converter. Based on this, an optimal topology is selected for which an additional comparative analysis involving input line measure improvement control is conducted by using PI controller. The results of these experiments can be adapted for use in the circuit selection of high performance converters with power factor improvement circuits.
