Modelling and Analysis of Grid Connected PV System under Different Penetration Level of PV

In the last two decades there is very sharp rise in the power generation from the solar system. This is due to the increasing solar cell efficiency, decreasing PV system costs, increasing government support, and many other factors collectively help in reduce the barriers of growth for PV systems to expand their participation to the total world energy sector. The drawbacks of the inverters which are currently used in grid connected PV system are well known. As the penetration of PV system is increasing day by day this problem is becoming more significant.

This paper provide a solution in the control of inverter by regulating the active power and reactive power. The proposed control scheme helps in providing grid support by PV system as well as reducing the harmonics contents in the power hence improving power quality. The design, modeling, and analysis of a grid-tied PV system was performed in the MATLAB software simulation environment. Results indicate that in the presence of grid disturbances the proposed inverter can react dynamically to help restore the power system back to its normal state. A harmonic analysis was also performed indicating the inverter under study met the applicable power quality standards for distributed energy resources.

Power Management in Grid Isolated Hybrid Power System Incorporating RERs and BESS

The battery energy storage system (BESS) is one of the most commonly used method for smoothing the wind or solar power generation fluctuations. Such BESS based hybrid power systems require a suitable control strategy that can effectively regulate power output levels and battery state of charge (SOC). This paper presents the results of a wind/photovoltaic (PV)/BESS hybrid power system simulation analysis undertaken to improve the smoothing performance of wind/PV/BESS hybrid power generation and the effectiveness of battery SOC control.

A smoothing control method for reducing wind/PV hybrid output power fluctuations and regulating battery SOC under the typical conditions is proposed. The effectiveness of these methods was verified using MATLAB/SIMULINK software.

Modelling and Control of Wind / PV / Battery / Fuelcell based Hybrid Power System

In this paper, a hybrid power system comprising wind and solar based renewable energy sources (RERs) is proposed. As these RERs are intermittent and random in nature, so a backup source is needed for smoothening the fluctuations in RERs output power. Fuel cell based energy storage system (ESS) along with battery energy storage (BESS) is proposed for this purpose. Both the energy sources are controlled so as to deliver energy at optimum efficiency.

A separate controller is used to achieve maximum power tracking for both PV and wind resources for delivering maximum available power from these sources. PMSG based wind energy conversion system is used to extract energy from the wind. The energy from the solar, wind and fuel cell based power system is converted in to Ac form by using inverter. This power from point of common coupling supplies the load, while the excess power feeds the water electrolyzer used to generate hydrogen for supplying the fuel cells (FC).

A management system is designed to manage the power flow between the system components in order to satisfy the load requirements throughout the entire operation. The study defines the power generated by the wind and PV systems is not predictable so BESS is used to smooth the large power variations and the generated hydrogen used and stored in tanks and the power generated by the fuel cells to supply the small deficiency in the load demand. Simulation results is obtained from MATLAB/Simulink software, proved the accuracy of the proposed system. Also, a complete description of the management system is presented.

The Behavior of the Television Audience by TV Rating with Social Networks

This examination looks at the connection between online networking webpage Facebook and TV ratings drawing from group of on looker's variables of incorporation model of gathering of people conduct. In view of setting of Taiwan broadcasting company programs, this examination gathered measures for Facebook shares, likes, remarks, posts for three classifications of network shows and Nielsen ratings over a time of 11weeks, bringing about the span of test in excess of 130 perceptions. This examination connected different relapse models and verified that the key online networking measures associate with TV ratings.

Generally, TV appears with higher number of posts and engagement are probably going to identify with higher ratings, extraordinary in dramatization appears. Along these lines, this examination built the TV expectation models with measures for Facebook through SVR. The outcomes proposed that expectation models are a decent anticipating of which MAPE was between 10% - 20%, even fewer than 10%. This suggests TV system ought to be roused to put resources into web-based social networking and connect with their group of onlookers and examiners can utilize web-based social networking as an instrument of exact estimating.

Experimental Study of Demolished Building Waste and Pet Bottles Used in Concrete

A modern lifestyle, alongside the advancement of technology has led to an increase in the amount and type of waste being generated, leading to a waste disposal crisis. This study tackles the problem of the waste that is generated from construction fields, such as demolished building wastes and waste pet bottles. In order to dispose of or at least reduce the accumulation of certain kinds of waste, it has been suggested to reuse some of these waste materials to substitute a percentage of the primary materials used in the ordinary portland cement concrete (OPC).

The waste materials considered to be recycled in this study consist of plastics, and demolished building waste. Such recycling not only helps conserve natural resources, but also helps solve a growing waste disposal crisis. Pet bottles were used to replace up to 3% of cement in concrete mixes, while crushed concrete was used to replace up to 25%, 50%, 100% of coarse aggregates. To evaluate these replacements on the properties of the OPC mixes, a number of laboratory tests were carried out.

These tests included compressive strength, flexural strength, and indirect tensile strength (splitting). The main findings of this investigation revealed that the two types of waste materials could be reused successfully as partial substitutes for cement or coarse aggregates in concrete mixtures.

Overview of Biometric Fingerprint Identification

Fingerprint identification of a person is widely used in all over the world, as there are no two fingerprints like. Authentication and validation of an individual is done with the help of various factors like signature, user-ids and passwords, palm, fingerprint, face, voice, heart-beat, iris, etc. The fingerprint technique is advantageous for such recognition as compared to other techniques. This paper is a brief review in the field of fingerprint identification. The aim of this paper is to review various latest minutiae based, correlation based and other global, local methods for fingerprint matching and status of success of concurrent methods.

Mathematical Differential Solution of Flow & Head-loss in the Flow-correction & Design of Distribution Network of Water Supply

This study has explained a method of solution of general flow problem by mathematics. The flow-problem is the Darcy-Weisbach formula of the head-loss, i.e., HL=KQx. This equation has been transformed into the Leibnitz's form of the differential equation & then solved subsequently, considering suitable functionary variables for the derivation as applicable. This way of solution takes the feature of inner variables of a problem to limelight which might not achieve the breakthrough instead by any other way of the available solution in mathematics.

Ultimately, in this study, the flow-correction has got to be a different dimension by the mode of application of mathematics. With the final form of the differential solution, the head-loss estimation has been adjusted for the loops in a distribution network in order to get the given flows passing through the pipe-loops made into the subsequent corrected values. Future scope of this study is enormous; the following up of this study's initiative proceeding for the numerous subjective fields of concern & lastly not the least indeed, the further research on the outcomes determined in this study by such application of the mathematical passage to go to finding out its further implication.
