Adhesive from Petrol and Thermocol

In today's life the generation of plastic waste has become the serious issue. It causes serious health and ecological problems like breeding of mosquito's and if eaten by cattle and wild animals endangers their lives too, also it stops vegetation from growing and obstructs in drain and piping, etc. The consumption of plastic has reached to 100 million tons, and this has caused increase in depletion of natural resources such as petroleum and natural gas etc.

About 13 percent of the municipal solid waste is caused by plastic. 32 million tons of plastic waste was deposited in 2011, which is 12.7 percent of total MSW. Annually approximately 500 billion plastic bags are used worldwide every year. More than 1 million bags are used every minute. The main aim of this project is to make useful product from waste thermocol i.e. adhesive.

To Design a Circuit Diagram for Mute Keypad Vocalizer using ARDUINO UNO

Mute input device Vocalizer could be a massive scale microcontroller based mostly system being designed to facilitate the communication among the dumb and deaf individuals by manufacturing a speech and text signal. This system can be dynamically reconstructed to work as a 'œsmart device'. In this paper, microcontroller and sensors based mute keypad vocalizer is presented. Mute keypad vocalizer discussed is basically a speaker and a keypad equipped microcontroller based system. Keypad sensor can detect the pressing of keys and microcontroller based system converts some specified key values into speech signals.

The vocalizer is equipped with a keypad module and an audio processing unit. This system is beneficial for dumb and deaf people.

Hot Disk Pick and Place Robot

The Project is aimed to provide an automation in handling of different type of hot discs prior to forming operation. In Present situation, hot discs (approx. at 750-°c) are guided to operator by conveyor from the furnace. Operator pics the disc with the help of tounge and places it on forming setup. The process is slightly time consuming, due to that the temperature of disc decreases and that results in decrease in forming quality. In addition to that, as the weight of disc is quite high (22 to 35kg/disc),the process was taking large amount of human efforts.

To address all these issues, the team decided to Design a pick and place type robot in the work area. The main objective of our project is to provide a pick and place robot which will handle all 12 types of discs with one End effector and also it must take minimum time to move the hot disc from conveyor to the forming setup to save time and increase productivity.

Autonomous Voice Control Pick and Place Rover

This project is to control the Robot for Application through the voice operated. This project is used to pick and place the objects by Robot Controller Application in the remote areas. Battery energy is used to give the power to robot because now a day's power demand is increased due to this power failure happen many times. We are using the voice control system to control the rover motion. This is achieved by using the Bluetooth module HC-05 which creates a Bluetooth shield.

Android application-(ARM apk) is created to encrypt the voice command into the pulse signal which will send the signal through the Bluetooth. HC-05 receives the encrypted electrical signal and processes this signal into suitable command to run rover. Here we are using the PIC 16ff 40 pin developer board as a controller which process the signal and control the motor. LCD display is used to display what the command is given, we are using 9 command to control the rover which are pointed in the program.

Genetic Programming Approach for Oral Cancer Detection and its Image Restoration

Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in developing countries. Cancers are of different types like breast cancer, lung cancer, skin cancer and so on. Oral Cancer is one of the types of cancers. Oral cancer is a very common type of cancer. This Oral Cancer is observed in both males as well as females. It is a big challenge to detect Oral Cancer. This is a time consuming process in medical image processing. Detection and prevention of oral cancer at early stage is critical. But it increases the chances of survival.

This work presents the detection of oral cancers using Image Processing. Clinical images which are RGB images and microscopic images are used as the input image for detection of cancer. At first, Gabor filter is used to remove noise from the images. This is used for image enhancement in image preprocessing step. Genetic Algorithm is used to extract the features of tumors from the enhanced image. GA is used for segmentation of image. The proposed algorithm provides better segmentation. Genetic Programming (GP), is a computation technique that can evolve better solutions for image classification problems.

Design of Blood Monitor Sensor Model to Determine Glucose Level in Blood Sample

The prime intention of this research work has been to study and develop glucose monitoring system using IR sensor and ultrasonic MEMS to determine the blood density and blood pressure in patient blood sample. It is needless to emphasize the great importance of glucose level testing in diabetes life. Blood is combination of that high content it may like proteins, DNA, RNA, plasma etc. This research presents a spectroscopic sensor model to study and analyze the blood level and its parameter of sample blood before treatment. In this research work, compare the predicted glucose values with those from NIR spectroscopy using various glucose monitoring techniques. The predicted result being used is various patient monitoring system.

Soil Liquefaction Potential Maps for Earthquake Events in Yangon, Myanmar

The soil liquefaction is one of the main topics of geotechnical engineering associated with the strong earthquakes. The study area has been selected in Yangon City because it is most populated density area and located near the active faults and the rivers. The main objective of study is the development of liquefaction potential maps as a prominent feature for site planners and decision makers to reduce loss of lives. The borehole data including ground water table, Standard Penetration Test (SPT), blow counts, wet density and fine content etc. have been collected from the 530 representative sites in Yangon City.

The safety factor of soil liquefaction is evaluated by using National Center of Earthquake Engineering Research (NCEER) Method (1997). The Liquefaction Potential Index (LPI) is proposed by Luna and Frost Method (1998) to predict the potential of liquefaction at sites. The proposed liquefaction potential map is analyzed by using Geographic Information Software. The development of liquefaction potential maps is associated with 1%, 2%, 5%, 10% and 20% of probabilities of exceedance in 50 years.
