Modeling of Predictive interaction of Water Parameters in Groundwater

The assessment presented in this article is centred on investigating the interaction of turbidity, total suspended solids and total dissolved solids interaction within the water bearing aquifer of Obite to Oboburu communities of Ogba/ Egbema/ Ndoni local government area of Rivers State, Nigeria. Experimental and modeled turbidity, total suspended solids and total dissolved solids investigated are within recommended standard of World Health Organization revealing the reliability of model equation in predicting groundwater parameters distribution upon influence of time, recharge, flow rate.

Solar and Thermal Power Generation

Energy is the driving force for almost everything including the economy, society and technology all around the world. This makes energy generation an important and ever increasing responsibility.environmental problems. The burning of fossil resources factors the release of carbon dioxide (CO2) that accumulates in the surroundings a greenhouse gas (GHG) which might alternate the steadiness of global local weather. In order that many study are interested for renewable power in their one-of-a-kind forms thermal, photovoltaic, hydro, biomass and geothermal.Solar rays are an inexhaustible source of energy during the sector.

It is used in quite a lot of functions as a supply of easy and renewable energy. Amongst this solar thermal applications comprise electrical power new release. This paper experiences the electrical energy iteration from solar thermal energy established especially on parabolic trough, linear fresnal reflector, barabolic dish and so forth. Examples of solar thermal power vegetation will likely be discussed on this paper. This paper also offers with the concentrated solar power (CSP).

Role of UPQC in Distributed Generation Power System: A Review

The ever increasing share of renewable energy sources (RERs) in the today's scenario, the power grids are suffering from poor power quality due to the intermittent nature of wind and solar based power generating units. The led to extensive research in the field of power quality especially in voltage and frequency regulations Distributed generation involving RERs has become more popular in recent years due to technological advancement and has been started increasingly used in industry. It has become more important to understand the integration of these systems through PE interface with the existing electric power systems networks.

At the same time, high frequency switching of Power Electronic interface has caused major Power Quality concerns, which has been tackled with the help of Custom power devices interfaces that has allowed DG to offers various benefits like ability to provide ancillary services, increased energy efficiency, increased functionality through improved power quality and voltage/VAR support, improved electrical system reliability by reducing the fault contributions, and flexibility in operations with various other DE sources.

DG also allows the customer to have a choice while it reduces the overall interconnection costs. This paper focuses on widespread use of DG through various Renewable Energy Sources, Power Quality issues associated with the use of Power Electronic interface and use of various Custom Power Devices to improve Power Quality. It particularly evaluates the role of UPQC-DG in various modes of DG in following PQ standards.

Recognition of Indian Sign Language using SVM classifier

Sign language is the medium of communication for the hearing impaired people. It uses gestures instead of sound to convey meaning. It combines hand-shapes, orientation and movement of the hands, arms or body, facial expressions and lip- patterns for conveying messages. Different types of project are done against deaf, mute, hard hearing people. A system with computer human interface is proposed for sign language recognition. But there is country wide variation available in that project.

The main idea of this project is design a system which is useful for communication of that people with outside world in any public places, so that no need to interpreter in public places. In that project we need the isolated images in the form of database with Indian sign language of numeric sign. A regular camera is useful for acquiring this numeric sign. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is used for preprocessing, in which the removal of redundant and unwanted data is done.

Biosynthesis of Eco-Friendly Silver Nano-Particles using Dry Fluted Pumpkin (TelfairiaOccidentalis)Leave Extractas Reducing Agent

The Biosynthesis of Eco-Friendly Silver Nano-Particles using Dry Fluted Pumpkin (TelfairiaOccidentalis) Leave Extract as Reducing Agent was carried out. The research used the extract which was prepared from dry fluted pumpkin leaves to reduce 0.01 M silver nitrate solution without the addition of any capping agent. During the biosynthesis process qualitative measures like 15 minutes interval observation for 1 hr., observation of precipitates formation, and laser light pointer were taken to establish the formation of AgNPs in the solution.

The AgNPs for characterization were produced by allowing the biosynthesis solution to remain in the cardboard for 24 hours before filtering and drying the residue in the oven at 110oC. The residue which was the AgNPs was characterized using ED-XRF and SEM. The NPs produced were of average size of 30 nm and angular and cubicle in shape. The chemical composition of the NPs was 71.8% Ag2O, 25% SiO2, 2.18% Cl and other trace compounds. The NPs; given the eco-friendly method of their biosynthesis can be further purified to be used on wound bandage.
