Critical Time '“Motion and Economic Analysis of Linear and Rotary Gravity Conveyor for application One man multi-machine setup as low cost automation in material handling

The rapid growth of technology in the last two decades has been characterized by full automation. As only the affluent and developed countries can afford to adopt full automation, a large productivity gap has been created. This gap can be bridged through low cost automation. The concept and principles of low cost automation are basically the same as those of full automation except that the former builds improvement around existing equipment and machine system rather than replacing whole system with automated processes.

Material handling is the primary activity of every manufacturing organization. It has been estimated that at least 15 to 25% of the cost of the product is attributable to material handling activities. Unlike many other operations, material handling adds to the cost of the product and not to its value. It is therefore important first to eliminate or at least minimize the need for material handling and second to minimize the cost of handling. Karakuri mechanisms use a single force or motion to simultaneously perform multiple operations, and also lead directly to energy conservation and resource (facilities) savings. Conventionally gravity conveyors are used to perform material handling task but they are more often of fixed layout type with a singular application.

The proposed linear gravity conveyor for flexible manufacture system uses the principle of Converting the force from a dropped weight into gear rotation to activate a conveyor thereby saving the cost of motor and electricity. Conveyors are ordinarily activated by using drive from a motor. In this example, when the conveyor is lifted with a cylinder, a weight drops from the top portion of the conveyor. The force of dropped weight rotates gears that provide movement needed for slide delivery of work (semi-finished products).

This mechanism eliminates the need for a motor and enabled a reduction in standby electricity and electricity for operation. Slide delivery requires only the necessary amount of driving energy at the time when needed and is therefore consistent with the concept of 'Ĺ“just-in-time' electricity. Objective of project is carry out critical analysis as to time-motion and economics of the developed conveyor system with linear and rotary conveyor to determine the i)Transfer time ii)Maximum load carrying capacity .Comparative analysis of the performance of the developed system with conventional conveyor to derive: Change in job transfer time.

Anomaly Threat Detection System using User and Role-Based Profile Assessment

In network security the organizations are ever-growing to identify insider threats. Those who have authorized access to sensitive organizational data are placed in a position of power that could well be abused and could cause significant damage to an organization. Traditional intrusion detection systems are neither designed nor capable of identifying those who act maliciously within an organization. We describe an automated system that is capable of detecting insider threats within an organization.

We define a tree-structure profiling approach that incorporates the details of activities conducted by each user and each job role and then use this to obtain a consistent representation of features that provide a rich description of the user's behavior. Deviation can be assessed based on the amount of variance that each user exhibits across multiple attributes, compared against their peers.

We have performed experimentation using that the system can identify anomalous behavior that may be indicative of a potential threat. We also show how our detection system can be combined with visual analytics tools to support further investigation by an analyst.

Simulation of active scheme Three Phase to Seven Phase Transformation using Special condition Transformer Connection

The object in this paper to boost a 3 to 7 phase AC multiphase transformers to converted into DC power through modeling and simulation. A new technique of pure seven-phase Sine-wave of fixed current/voltage and frequency is obtained now we have also used for R-L load and motor testing purposes. Here complete modeling has been simulated by using MATLAB Software. Multi-winding transformer block was taken from the sim-power system block library and turn ratios set in the dialog box then simulated.

The design and simulation presented in this paper. Seven phase transmission line system can be developed for the generation of bulk power transfer. As per need of the induction motor under a loaded condition is used for the viability of transformation system. In seven phase's, each phases shifted from the order by 51.42-° (360-°/7) and got the Sine-wave current/voltage.

The novel scheme connection was expanded by using the modeling and simulation approach to prove the viability of the implementation and this type of transformer is required in aerospace engineering, railway engineering and automobile engineering applications.

Automatic Image Captions for Lightly Labelled Images

We initiate a new distance metric learning technique recognized as ambiguously supervised structural metric learning to find out discriminative Mahalanobis distance metric that is based on weak supervision data. For improving the performance, two affinity matrices are combined to get a fused affinity matrix which is used for face naming. When specified a collection of images, in which each of the image contains numerous faces and is linked by few names in corresponding caption, the purpose of face naming is to infer acceptable name for each face.

Here we introduce two methods to correspondingly get hold of two discriminative affinity matrices by means of learning from the images of weakly labelled. For initial affinity matrix obtaining, we put forward a new method known as regularized low-rank representation by incorporation of weakly supervised information into low-rank representation with the intention that affinity matrix is obtained from resulting reconstruction coefficient matrix.

Hydro-Pneumatic Suspension with Intelligent Active Suspensioning System

A shock absorber is a mechanical device designed to smooth out or damp a sudden shock impulse and dissipate kinetic energy. Without shock absorbers, the vehicle would have a bouncing ride, as energy is stored in the spring and then released to the vehicle, possibly exceeding the allowed range of suspension movement, Control of excessive suspension movement without shock absorption requires stiffer springs, which would in turn give a harsh ride.

Shock absorbers allow the use of soft springs while controlling the rate of suspension movement in response to bumps. Now the project has mainly concentrated in designing a suitable suspension unit. The limit sensor is fixed to the front wheel. When the front wheel is in bounce, the limit sensor activates the pneumatic compressor automatically with the help of electronic control unit.

Now the compressor starts running, activating the hydro pneumatic suspensor which is fitted in the back wheel. In a vehicle it reduces the effect of suspension travel on uneven terrains. Hydraulic system undergo torque multiplication in an easy way, independent of distance between input and output. Pneumatic system is based on the fact that gas is compressible so equipment is less subjected to shock loads.

Agricultural Motor Control and Monitoring

Every system is automated in order to face new challenges in the present day situation. Automated systems have less manual operations, so that the flexibility, reliabilities are high and accurate. Hence every field prefers automated control systems. For utilization of appliances, the new concept has been thought to manage them remotely by using GSM, which enables the user to control switching ON/OFF of agricultural motor remotely. Just by dialing keypad of remote phone, from where we are calling we can perform ON / OFF operation of the motor.

This system also operates by sending and receiving SMS. The main aim of this project is to turn on and off water pump from anywhere using mobile phone and also automatic control of motor using various sensors. Soil moisture sensor is used to measure the amount of moisture content present in the soil and stop motor pump at particular level, Humidity Sensor is used to monitor whether the level of humidity in environment is high or low, Rain Sensor is used to detect the rain in field and stop the pump if there is rain and the water level is continuously monitor the level and at particular level motor is turned OFF. If we send a message to the system, it will send a reply with the status of all the sensors by using GSM technology.

Artificial Neural Network Based Automated Escalating Tools for Crises Navigation

Autonomous driving technology has made significant advances in recent years. In order to make self-driving cars more practical, they are required to operate safely and reliably even under adverse driving condition. The object detection based on deep learning is an important application in deep learning technology, which is characterized by its strong capability of features learning and feature representation compared with the traditional object detection method.

After analyzing the characteristics of videos shot by the camera, we choose to use deep learning to train a vehicle detection model to detect targets in video. In the end, we use trained data set to control the speed and navigate the vehicle in crises situations. Conversely, not much research is going on of usage such networks for elaborating of real time data. The goal of this work is exploring, experimenting and providing new approaches of classification non-stationery data using neural network.
