An Efficient Brain Tumor Detection Algorithm based on Segmentation for MRI System

A collection, or mass, of abnormal cells in the brain is called as Brain Tumor . The skull, which encloses your brain, is very rigid. Growth inside such a restricted space can cause problems. Brain tumors can be malignant or benign. Segmentation in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) was an emergent research area in the field of medical imaging system. In this an efficient algorithm is proposed for tumor detection based on segmentation and morphological operators. Quality of scanned image is enhanced and then morphological operators are applied to detect the tumor in the scanned image.

Advanced Crop Monitoring using Internet of Things based Smart Intrusion & Prevention in Agricultural Land

In the world, economic growth of many countries mainly depends on crop cultivation. Agriculture provides the food for people and produces several raw materials for industries. Now-a-days, crop cultivation is decreasing rapidly. To overcome this problem, monitoring the crop water requirements, temperature and humidity of the cultivating land and a system to prevent the entry of animals into the farm is required. The main concept of this paper is to prevent the animal intrusion and to monitor the crop water requirements.

This method increases the crop yield which will not be harmful to the cultivation as well as to the animals. This system mainly aims to secure the crops by the deployment of sensor and prevent intrusion of animals using image processing technique.

Study on effect of Polypropylene and Steel Fiber on the strength of Concrete

Concrete is most widely used material in the construction as it is relatively strong in compression but weak in tension and tends to be brittle. These two weaknesses have limited its use. Fiber reinforced concrete is most widely used for improving tensile and flexural strength of concrete. In this paper an attempt has been made to explore the effects of polypropylene fiber on some hardened properties of PFRC based on its compressive strength, flexural strength and flow ability.

In this research, concrete mixes were added with polypropylene fiber of 0%, 0.2%, 0.4%, and 0.8% volume fraction and Steel Fibers were added in a varying dose of 0%, 0.2%, 0.4%, and 0.8%. An experimental result demonstrated a notable increase in flexural, tensile strength was found. However, no significant change in compression strength is observed.

Design and Simulation of MPPT Algorithm for Three Phase Induction Motor Solar Water Pump

In this paper a three phase induction motor controller for a photovoltaic powered water pump without the use of chemical storage element is presented. The use of a three-phase induction motor is a better solution to the dc motor water pumping system. This system is use to achieve a more efficient, reliable, maintenance-free, and cheaper solution than that use dc motors or low-voltage synchronous motors. The developed system is based on a non inverting buck'“boost converter and a full-bridge three-phase inverter.

Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm has been developed and implemented to maximize the use of solar power generated at any given instant. By using MATLAB/ Simulink model is implemented. The system is expected to have a high lifetime due to the inexistence of storage element. As a result, the system is a economical solution to deliver water to household, industrial and agricultural activities which require water supply.

Environmental - Friendly Brick Blocks using E-Waste

Waste electrical and equipment (WEEE) is changing into major thread to the total world. Its toxic emissions mixed with virgin soil and air and inflicting harmful effects to the complete biology either directly or indirectly. Direct impacts embody unharnessed of acids, hepatotoxic compounds as well as serious metals, malignant neoplastic disease chemicals and indirect effects like bio magnification of serious metals.

Several non-public corporations are concerned in collecting, activity, and separation and mercantilism e-wastes for recyclers. Growth in technology enhances want and utilization of electronic and electrical equipment's (EEE) everywhere within the world. As a result, e-waste acquires an outsized share within the typical solid waste stream. Limited recycling solutions out there push the requirement for e-waste disposal solutions. A comparison of assorted disposal solutions done on the premise of parameters like disposal capability, damage to the surroundings and its resources cost and time constraints analysis is mentioned within the paper.

Landfill marketing answer is most accepted, proving resolute is best among all solutions by acting as a reserve to be recovered in future with the event of additional utilisation facilities. At an equivalent time, tremendous growth in use of ICT devices and services, quicker modification of technology and frequent innovations in ICT sector, had left the planet with a threat of degradation in environmental conditions and human health as the-waste of electronic and electrical instrumentation, that contains risky parts, remains handled in Associate in Nursing environmentally unfriendly manner primarily in developing nations.

A Study on Orbital Mechanics

Space craft to solar system bodies must deal with multiple deviations under the in uence of gravity. The motion of satellite in one of the types of conic section strongly depends upon escape velocity. The goal of this paper is to nd the trajectory of satellite by analysing orbit's eccentricity and or-bital parameters. This paper also focuses on the derivation of general orbit equation from the base called Newton's law of motion and Newton's law of gravitation.

Automatic Car Window Opener for safe Driving

Gas leakage is the major problem in the automobile Sector. According to the researches, it is said that the car's dashboard, sofa, air freshner ,gas emitted in ac emits the harmful carcinogen, Benzene in cars. It damages our bones, reduces white blood cells and causes anemia. When these benzene mixes with the freon (refridgerent) used in air conditioner, it emits co gas. The level of this harmful gas is 50 mg per square ft.

And it is found that the parked car with closed windows will contain 400 - 800 mg per square ft of benzene. So we find it really harmful for us to inhale the excessive amount of toxin. However, most commercially available systems can detect only one gas. This paper is to introduce the new technique of opening the windows automatically to the half when the gas level exceeds its threshold level for exhausting those gases

This paper aims at detection of the harmful gases using sensors, displaying the amount of gases present inside the car using the LCD display, alerting the inmates of the car with recorder IC and further the windows of car is opened. The project working status is also verified through LCD display and opens the windows automatically.
