A Review Study of various Data Mining Classification & Clustering Techniques

Data mining application includes a variety of methodologies that have been developed by commercial & research centers. This technique has been used for industrial, commercial and scientific purposes. It is most useful in an exploratory analysis scenario in which there are no prearranged notions about what will compose an "interesting" outcome. The WEKA contains a set of visualization tools & algorithms for data analysis and predictive modeling, together with graphical user interfaces for simple access to this functionality.

Improved Clustering Technique in Marketing Sector

Cluster analysis divides data into meaningful or useful groups (clusters). One of the most important problems in modern finance is finding efficient ways to summarize and visualize the stock market data to give individuals or institutions useful information about the market behaviour for investment decisions. Clustering techniques that are being used in Data Mining is presented. Data mining adds to clustering the complications of very large datasets with very many attributes of different types. This imposes unique computational requirements on relevant clustering algorithms with k-means method is one of the clustering techniques.

Data mining facilitates marketing sector by classifying customer demographic that can be used to predict which customer will respond to a mailing or buy a particular product and it is very much helpful in growth of business. K means method proposed that will improved in marketing sector and also discuss how to support clustering technique in marketing sector. Experimental results show difference between clustered and non clustered data of marketing product that represent in graphically and theoretically. These results help customer to choose the products and also it saves the time.

Efficient Way to Identify User Aware Rare Sequential Patterns in Document Streams

Documents created and distributed on the Internet are ever changing in various forms. Most of existing works are devoted to topic modeling and the evolution of individual topics, while sequential relations of topics in successive documents published by a specific user are ignored. In order to characterize and detect personalized and abnormal behaviors of Internet users, we propose Sequential Topic Patterns (STPs) and formulate the problem of mining Useraware Rare Sequential Topic Patterns (URSTPs) in document streams on the Internet. They are rare on the whole but relatively frequent for specific users, so can be applied in many real-life scenarios, such as real-time monitoring on abnormal user behaviors.

Here present solutions to solve this innovative mining problem through three phases: pre-processing to extract probabilistic topics and identify sessions for different users, generating all the STP candidates with (expected) support values for each user by patterngrowth, and selecting URSTPs by making user-aware rarity analysis on derived STPs. Experiments on both real (Twitter) and synthetic datasets show that our approach can indeed discover special users and interpretable URSTPs effectively and efficiently, which significantly reflect users' characteristics.

Parametric Study Of Multisoried R.C.C. Flat Slab Structure Under Seismic Effect Having Different Plan Aspect Ratio And Slenderness Ratio

Flat-slab building structures possesses major advantages over traditional slab-beam-column structures because of the free design of space, shorter construction time, architectural '“functional and economical aspects. Because of the absence of deep beams and shear walls, flat-slab structural system is significantly more flexible for lateral loads then traditional RC frame system and that make the system more vulnerable under seismic events. The critical moment in design of these systems is the slab-column connection, i.e., the shear force in the slab at the connection, which should retain its bearing capacity even at maximal displacements. The behavior of flat slab building during earthquake depends critically on '˜Building Configuration'.

This fact has resulted in to ensure safety against earthquake forces of tall structures hence, there is need to determine seismic responses of such building for designing earthquake resistant structures. Response Spectrum analysis is one of the important techniques for structural seismic analysis. In the present work dynamic analysis of 15 models of multi-storied RCC Flat slab structure is carried out by response spectrum analysis. The BIS guideline in IS 1893:2002 {Clause 7.1} says 'œRegular and Irregular Configuration to perform well in an earthquake, a building should possess four main attributes, namely simple and regular configuration, and adequate lateral strength, stiffness and ductility.

Buildings having simple regular geometry and uniformly distributed mass and stiffness in plan as well as in elevation, suffer much less damage than buildings with irregular configurations'. Similarly in IS 4326:1993 {Clause 4.4.1} it is mentioned that 'œThe building should have a simple rectangular plan and be symmetrical both with respect to mass and rigidity so that the center of mass and rigidity of the building coincide with each other.' But the limiting 'œplan aspect ratio' and 'œSlenderness ratio' for the regular structure is not prescribed. This study is concerned with the behavior of structure having same plan area but different plan aspect ratio (L/B) and slenderness ratio (H/B) under seismic condition. The structures are simulated in ETABS 13 software and analyzed using Response Spectrum method.

Effects of Waste Glass Powder on Compressive Strength of Concrete

In this research an attempt is made to study the effect of waste glass power in Concrete using waste glass, which is non biodegradable and not suitable to landfill. This study is carried out to use such waste materials into construction industries so that our environment is free to one of the major pollutant produced by the manufacturing industries. The main aim of this study is to utilization of waste glass power as a partial replacement of fine aggregate.

In this study the aim is to determine the percentage of glass replacement, resulting in optimal compressive strength.Concrete nominal mix of M20 with different percentages of Glass power has been evaluated as per IS 2386(part IV) and IS 383. Waste glass powder was replace with fine aggregate in various percentages such as 5%,10%,15%,20%,25%,30%,35%,40%,45%, and 50%. Reference concrete mix is also made for comparative reasons.

An Experimental Study on Modification of Dense Graded Bituminous Mix Design

Various problems on the roads have been frequently observed on flexible pavements like: potholes, rutting, shoving etc. In hot and developing countries like India, roads are affected by severed problems mentioned above, due to the water presence in the pavement, heavy traffic load, excessive no. of vehicles. Literature review lightens up on solution of these problems by modification of bitumen. To lighten this process, several measures may be effective, such as, use of better quality materials like waste plastic, motor oil, crumb rubber.

This study proposes the utilization of waste materials i.e. waste plastic, crumb rubber and motor oil and check their suitability to mitigate theses defects of cracking, rutting, pothole etc. Marshal stability method is chosen to determine the stability and flow value for bitumen mix design. Individual effects of polythene, crumb rubber and motor oil is analysed first by varying the percentage of same with optimum bitumen content.

And comprehensive effect of these three material has been also observed and discussed by plotting the graphs and it is found that Bitumen (5.5 %), Crumb Rubber (8%), Waste Plastic (6%) and Motor Oil (2%) gives highest stability and other properties values within the range given in MORTH. It is expected that this study would be useful to researchers and consultancies to construct the roads economically and long lasting servicing.

Design Pattern Classifiers under Attack for Security Evaluation using Multimodal System

Pattern classification is a branch of machine learning that focuses on recognition of patterns and regularities in data. This Pattern classification system are commonly used in adversarial applications, like biometric authentication, network intrusion detection, and spam filtering, in which data can be purposely manipulated by humans to undermine their operation. As this adversarial scenario is not taken into account by classical design methods, pattern classification systems may exhibit vulnerabilities, whose exploitation may severely affect their performance, and consequently limit their practical utility.

Extending pattern classification theory and design methods to adversarial settings. Here, propose a framework for empirical evaluation of classifier security that formalizes and generalizes the main ideas proposed in the literature, and give examples of its use in real applications. Reported results show that security evaluation can provide a more complete understanding of the classifier's behaviour in adversarial environments, and lead to better design choices. This framework can be applied to different classifiers on one of the application from the spam filtering, biometric authentication and network intrusion detection.

So in this propose an algorithm for the generation of training and testing sets to be used for security evaluation. Now result shows providing security to system using application as blogger for this applying spam filtering, biometric authentication methods. That shows pattern classification for detecting spam comments which easy to detect spam.
