Security Enhancement and Eminent Verification Measures of Global Distinctive E Passport

Electronic Passport is one of the results of the electronic revolution in The World since the passport is the document of the person in terms of identity and nationality and is the property of the country. One of the most important Challenges is to protect this document from forgery. The common forgery for the Passport is replacing its holder photo. The proposed system concentrates on the Security part of the e passport. It consists of two parts the first part is hiding of the security code by using steganography and storing the same code in the issuing Country of the e passport. The other part will be operated at the control point of the destination country to make sure of the e passport validity by checking the Hidden code using NFC and verify it with the one. If the two values are equal, then the system will compute a key using Diffie Hellman Key Exchange. This Key will be used to read the secret information. The project designed is an Authentication system where the Passport holder is authorized through Technology. Electronic passports include contactless chip which stores personal Data of the passport holder, information about the passport and the issuing Institution. In its simplest form an electronic passport contains just a collection of Read only files, more advanced variants can include sophisticated cryptographic Mechanisms protecting security of the document and or privacy of the passport Holder.

An Analysis of Mechanical Properties and Flexural Behavior of Concrete Slabs Reinforced with H.F.R.P Reinforcements

In the era of concrete, concrete is exposed to chemical, such as carbonation and chloride adulteration break down the alkaline barrier in the cement. Subsequently, steel in the concrete becomes corrosive. Such phenomena lead to erosion of concrete at the reinforcement level, cracking and spelling of concrete due to volume increase of steel reinforcement. Different methods were investigated to overcome corrosion by numerous researchers.According to A.S.T.M D792 13 standards the density of H.F.R.P bars have been evaluated the experimental value with 0.1mg precision. As per the standards, the H.F.R.P bars are weighed. Then, the H.F.R.P bar is immersed in distilled water at 230C and the wet weight of the bar is noted. The weight of the Sinker in immersed condition is also noted. The laboratory tests carried out to evaluate the physical and mechanical properties of the newly developed H.F.R.P bars and are compared with that of conventional bars. The bond properties of H.F.R.P bars with concrete is also determined. Finally, it explains the experimental investigations on the flexural behavior of concrete one way slabs reinforced with H.F.R.P reinforcements under static loading and are compared with conventional ones. The stress strain performance of the sand coated H.F.R.P bar is linear, lacking yield point up to the failure transverse shear strength is 3 times lesser than the tensile strength of the H.F.R.P bars. Thermal properties of fibers are substantially different in the longitudinal and transverse direction. Therefore the thermal characteristics vary between products according to the fiber, matrix and the fiber volume ratio. In this study the longitudinal Coefficient of linear thermal expansion is 7.5 x 10 6 oC to 9x 10 6 oC. Whereas the transverse Coefficient of linear thermal expansion is between 15 x 10 6 oC to 20 x 10 6 oC. Load deflection graphs drawn exhibits the accordance between experimental and FEM ANSYS observations. The reduced deflection of FEM is due to the rigidness of meshing. The results also confer about the effect of tension stiffening and the bond slip. From the comparison it has been observed that experimental deflections vary from 1.03 to 1.37 times higher than the FEM deflections.

Implementation of Medical Image Analysis using Image Processing Techniques

Clinical imaging is playing a fundamental limit in assessment and patching of affliction and discovering tumors and finding of threatening cells in less than ideal stage. As a standard system for perceiving bone features, is minute pictures were used. These photos are secured by using small radiography, where it expected to reiterated, drawn out and work raised measure. This method cant recognize the destructive cells because of the presence of uproar in the photos. Hence there is a necessity for automated and strong strategies to finish the image planning examination. As a first stage, the most fundamental piece of picture planning is to denoising without barging in on the diagnostics information during the clearing of commotion. The past collaboration disposes of the uproar and present fog in the image. To get precise picture getting ready, we have executed fragile and hard breaking point with various coefficients and to check the edge Visu wither was used. It was found that the Wavelet deionsing gadget was a helpful resource for picture improvement. In the gathering, our proposed work was connected with pre planning methodology to wipe out the noise and to get smooth pictures. This collaboration will help with improving the idea of the image and besides take out the fake areas. To recognize the presence of bone illness and to choose its stage, K infers estimation was used and thusly to get smooth picture, edge division measure was performed.

Agricultural Waste Materials as Potential Adsorbent for Treating Industrial Waste Water

Nowadays, the people suffer a lot due to water pollution and it becomes a serious problem. Therefore, it is very important to minimize the water pollution and utilize the treated waste water for domestic purpose. The principle objective of waste water treatment is to use the water for the domestic purpose without causing any damage to the human health and environment. The waste water from dyeing industries is treated by using agricultural waste such as Saccharum Officinarum leaves, Curcuma Longa leaves, CocosNucifera shell, Rice husk and Saw dust and compares the physical properties of this treated water with the distilled water and drinking water. The agro waste added as 10g, 20g and 30g to the 1000 ml wastewater and leaves it for a period of 1day, 3days, 5days, 7days and 9days and then tested. As a result, addition of 20g of CocosNucifera shell powder in 1000 ml waste water reduces pH and concentrations greatly than other agricultural waste used. Then the color of wastewater can be removed by using coconut shell ash within a period of 2 to 3 days. This study is conducted for the purpose of knowing how efficiently the wastewater could be treated and utilized for domestic purpose using low cost adsorbent such as agricultural waste.

Color Based Object Tracking with OpenCV A Survey

Object tracking is a rapidly growing field in machine learning. Object tracking is exactly what name suggests, to keep tracking of an object. This method has all sorts of application in wide range of fields like military, household, traffic cameras, industries, etc. There are certain algorithms for the object tracking but the easiest one is color based object detection. This is a color based algorithm for object tracking supported very well in OpenCV library. OpenCV is an library popular among python developers, those who are interested in Computer vision. It is an open source library and hence anyone can use and modify it without any restrictions and licensing. The Color based method of object tracking is fully supported by OpenCVs vast varieties of functions. There is little bit of simple math and an excellent logic behind this method of object tracking. But in simple language the target object is identified from and image given explicitly by user or some area selected from frame of video, and algorithm continuously search for that object from each frame in video and highlights the best match for every frame. But like every algorithm it also has some pros and cons which are discussed here.

Design of SCADA Failsafe Industrial Valves for Hazardous Chemicals from Chemical Kinetics Perspective

Safety in industrial processes is the contemporary trend observed in the context of industrial automation and internet of things using smart systems. Every process industry uses certain chemicals to obtain its output. Depending upon the guidelines lay down by the industries these chemicals may be hazardous or otherwise. Industrial automation applied to actuation of Industrial valves can be an emerging area of study considering handling hazardous chemicals. This paper intends to propose a supervisory control and data acquisition system for handling of hazardous chemicals using automated industrial valves. Initially the requirements for handling of hazardous chemicals shall be summarized and the process parameters governing the same shall be elaborated. Thereafter the role of industrial valves and their applicability shall be communicated with the intention to introduce automation in valve actuation. On establishing a premise in this manner, the latter part shall comprise design considerations to initiate, develop and execute supervisory control and data acquisition systems to suit the aim of this work. Certain challenges and suggested measures to mitigate the same shall be presented towards the end to ensure practicality of the topic. Industries handling hazardous chemicals are at times at a risk of incidents or accidents owing to failure of power distribution or compressed air distribution systems. In order to counter the undesirable effects of such failures, failsafe systems are employed. However in handling of hazardous chemicals, supervisory control and data acquisition systems can be linked with the chemical kinetics of the flow media and can be implemented to ensure overall industrial safety. This paper shall initially elaborate the flow through industrial valves, concepts of actuation and automation, failsafe systems and chemical kinetics. Failsafe systems considering various factors affecting rate of reactions shall elaborate the system requirements for a robust design. Principles of thermodynamics and thermo chemistry shall be a reference to comprehend the qualitative effects. These enable the designer to select the appropriate failsafe action. Design considerations and significance of the topic with respect to industrial safety shall be put forward towards the conclusion.

IoT Based Water Quality Monitoring System for Smart Cities

Since from the last centuries, water has been affected due to many parameters and actions done by human beings. Due to these actions drinking water becomes dangerous and harmful with increase in living population and also due to global warming and changes in natural climate. So, in upcoming generation we need safe drinking water for all living things. For these safety measures we need to first monitor the quality of the drinking water. In earlier days, people used some manual types of measurements for monitoring the water. But it takes more time and it has less efficiency. So, we need a better idea to check the quality of the water because water is more essential for all living things. By considering all these necessities, we develop a new methodology for monitoring the quality of the given water using IOT environment with low level of cost and with high efficiency. We also ensure real time data value by developing a web application using wi fi module, which can be accessed at anywhere.

Features of Encumbrances Related to Construction in the Russian Federation Quarterly Development of Residential Complexes

The author considers the encumbrances imposed on the developer in favor of the state, which are reflected in the Urban planning code of the Russian Federation. The developer needs to build an appropriate number of social facilities schools, kindergartens , as well as provide Parking spaces, house driveways, depending on the area of the housing being built and sold. there is a shortage of social infrastructure facilities necessary to ensure the minimum standard of living of the population. During the construction of an array of residential complexes, the population of a particular area increases, which means that the load on the existing objects of transport, engineering and social infrastructure clinics, schools, kindergartens, consumer services and trade, culture, sports, leisure, etc. increases. But the expenses for the construction of such facilities are often not planned in the state or municipal budgets.

Brain Tumor Detection using MRI Images

Brain tumor segmentation is a very important task in medical image processing. Early diagnosis of brain tumors plays a crucial role in improving treatment possibilities and increases the survival rate of the patients. For the study of tumor detection and segmentation, MRI Images are very useful in recent years. One of the foremost crucial tasks in any brain tumor detection system is that the detachment of abnormal tissues from normal brain tissues. Because of MRI Images, we will detect the brain tumor. Detection of unusual growth of tissues and blocks of blood within the system is seen in an MRI Imaging. Brain tumor detection using MRI images may be a challenging task due to the brains complex structure. In this paper, we propose an image segmentation method to detect tumors from MRI images using an interface of GUI in MATLAB. The method of distinguishing brain tumors through MRI images is often sorted into four sections of image processing as pre processing, feature extraction, image segmentation, and image classification. During this paper, weve used various algorithms for the partial fulfillment of the necessities to hit the simplest results that may help us to detect brain tumors within the early stage.

Development and Performance Evaluation of an Intelligent Electric Power Switching System

The research work deal with automatic control system to switch ON or add OFF predetermined energy source. The automatic system ON or add OFF consists of both AC and DC voltage sensor, uninterrupted DC power supply, relay switches, generator choke control, microcontroller and indicators. The voltage sensors were used to determine the voltage availability from the various sources National grid, inverter and generator. The uninterrupted dc power supply was used to drive the whole circuit. The choke control was also in cooperated to start the generator which consists of solenoid with solenoid driver. The high power relay switching unit would be trigger due to the information processed by microcontroller this processed information would be transmitted to the appropriate relay for action. The indicators were used to specify the voltage sources available. All these units were wired together. The time delay is determined by time of operation or decision by microcontroller, make near zero delay in switching. When switching to national grid and generator, the load was connected but for the inverter trigger, few important loads were loaded to it. The delay time noted was around 85ms, charge from national grid to generator but when inverter is place in between the national grid and the generator the delay time is near zero.

A Comparative Study between Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing

The Internet has drastically changed in the past decade. Now internet has more business than before and therefore there is a increase in Advanced Persistent Threat groups and Adversaries. After all the advancement in technology and innovation Web application Security is still a challenge for most of the organization all over the world, Because every time APT’s groups and Threat actors uses different Tactics Techniques and Procedure TTPs for exploiting any organization. There can be many techniques to mitigate such attacks such as defensive coding, hardening system firewall, implementing IDS and IPS using of SIEM tools etc. The solution contains monitoring different logs, events and regular assessment of organizations network which is known as Vulnerability Assessment which is a generalized or a sequenced review of a security system and the other one is penetration testing also known popularly as ethical hacking or red teaming assessment where the client’s poses themselves as real Hackers and try to penetrate into the company’s network to check if it’s really secure or not.In this paper we will be comparing these two methods and techniques and also decide at the end which of the above two method is more superior and why.

A Review on Modeling and Analysis of Multi Stage with Multi Phase DC DC Boost Converter

A new version of the new Hybrid Boost DC DC ready to draw power from two different DC sources for standard DC bus feeds is presented in this paper. An important feature of the proposed converter is that both sources provide simultaneous power to a lower load than the reduced current rate. This feature is very attractive for DC grid applications. With the analysis of the time zone, steady state performance is established and the transformational power correction parameters are obtained. In this paper, a powerful converter is introduced, with its operating principles based on charging pumps and converters of reinforcement series. In addition, although three switches are used, no separate gate driver is required instead of one bridge gate driver and one gate driver on the lower side. As such, the proposed converter is easy to analyze and easy to operate. In addition, additional test results are provided to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed converter.

Man Go Pack, All Mode VHF UHF HF Portable Go Kit, on and Off Grid, for Emergency Communications System

The design and implementation of a Man Go Pack are to build a combination of a Manpack radio and a Go kit in one package. The design of the Man Go Pack for Emergency Communication EmCom follows the design principle of building a device that is portable and can be operated in any condition and situation. From the results and findings, it was noted that the construction of the manpack is easy but needs smaller and light integral devices to make it more compact. The device will work to almost all of the amateur band, commercial, and marine frequency. Weather channels such as from the NOAA can also be monitored on the device. The device can be operated as both Manpack for portable operations and also as a field radio in a Go kit configuration. The device can be simply deployed in an emergency situation especially when normal communication infrastructure failed during the disaster. With the low cost of construction, the device is highly recommended for the Local Government Unit Emergency Communication Device. The LGU’s can also be developed or build a similar device for emergency communication purposes. The device can be used as portable and field operation for amateur radio hobbyists in pursuing distant contact or DX.

Control on Blast Furnace Skip Car Derailment by use of Pareto Analysis

The skip car in blast furnace is used to transfer and charge raw materials such as coke, iron ore, sinter and additives like limes stone dolomites into the furnace. This Skip Car has to withstand heavy wear caused by loading and unloading of those raw materials onto the Car body, which subjects it to derailment while delivering the charge raw material into the blast furnace. If skip car derailed during travelling material charging stopped in blast furnace has been stopped and due to that hot metal production has stopped. Most of the derailment occurs during skip car return from dumping level near of track changing area. Due to derailment of skip car skip bridge structure and skip car body got damaged, also repositioning of skip car is difficult task as car gets toppled from track. We have required to strengthening of bridge structure which got damaged during skip car derailment. For this purpose, corrective measures are suggested to minimize the derailment of skip car with the help of Quality Circle tools.

Study on Behaviour of Permeable Concrete in the Utilization of Chemical Processing of Ash

Permeable concrete is a distinctive kind of concrete with excessive porosity used for concrete flat work functions that enable the water from precipitation and different sources to ignore without delay through, thereby decreasing the runoff from a web page and permitting floor water recharge. This porosity is attained via a surprisingly interconnected void content. Typically permeable concrete has little or no pleasant mixture and has simply adequate cementing paste coat the coarse combination particles whilst maintaining the interconnectivity of the voids. Permeable concrete is historically used in parking areas, areas with excessive traffic, stroll methods in parks and gardens, residential streets, pedestrian walkways and inexperienced houses, basketball and volley ball courts etc. Porous concrete is an essential utility for the sustainable building and is one of many low affect improvement methods used via builders to defend water quality. The predominant purpose of the challenge is to amplify the mechanical properties. Silica fume and fly ash used as the essential cloth in permeable concrete. Silica fume is a derivative of the ferrosilicon industry, is a relatively pozzolanic fabric that is used to beautify mechanical and sturdiness houses of concrete. This experimental learn about on engineering homes of permeable concrete the use of silica fume and fly ash alternative of cement. The concrete specimen have been examined for compressive strength, flexural strength, break up tensile test. Compressive power accelerated in substitute of silica fume and fly ash content.

Decentralized Finance On Blockchain and Smart Contract Based Financial Markets

The term decentralized finance DeFi refers to an alternative financial infrastructure built on top of the Ethereum blockchain. DeFi uses smart contracts to create protocols that replicate existing financial services in a more open, interoperable, and transparent way. This paper highlights opportunities and potential risks of the DeFi ecosystem. I propose a multi layered framework to analyze the implicit architecture and the various DeFi building blocks, including token standards, decentralized exchanges, decentralized debt markets, blockchain derivatives, and on chain asset management protocols. I conclude that DeFi still is a niche market with certain risks but that it also has interesting properties in terms of efficiency, transparency, accessibility, and compos ability. As such, DeFi may potentially contribute to a more robust and transparent financial infrastructure.

Design and Performance Analysis of a LCD Laboratory Lantern

This paper presents the performance of a LCD laboratory lantern designed to combust varieties of biofuels. The burner was designed as a laboratory scale standard model for experimental purposes. The effect of biofuel atomization on the temperature and structure of flame in the near burner region of a multi fuel stabilised burner of a laboratory scale lantern was investigated experimentally with the help of a microcontroller made of pic 16F877. The laboratory scale lantern is of two litres capacity and was designed and constructed at the department of Mechanical Engineering, Nnamdi Azikiwe University to be used for laboratory combustion analysis, such as flame stability, temperature, height etc with the help of microcontroller made of pic 16F877 which takes temperature reading between 0 150oC and content of flame in order to determine its structure. A 16 by 2 liquid crystal display was used to read out the values of the temperature read by the LM35. The LCD was interfaced to the microcontroller in a 4bit mode. The LM35 Temperature Sensor used in this design has Zero offset voltage, which means that the Output = 0V at 0 °C. The design of the fuel level detector unit was achieved using BC548 NPN transistor connected via collector to the microcontroller unit. The burner was designed to atomize and ignite a combination of gaseous, liquid and biofuels. Detailed fuel flow rate and flame temperature measurements were obtained by means of a regression model and a LM35 thermocouple. The measurements aim to provide additional understanding on the efficiency and combustion process interaction in laboratory scale burners which can lead to useful conclusions about the properties and structure of flames produced from different biofuels to ascertain their different areas of industrial applications.

Personal Health Record Management System

Good health is one of the most valuable resources for a human being. Large scale technological advancements have significantly improved human health by a large margin. But there are still several diseases whose symptoms are highly painful and debilitating for a patient. The doctor is in charge of facilitating an effective diagnosis of the patients illness and providing relief to the patient through various medications. For this purpose, the doctor has at his disposal repository of information in the form of PHR or Public Health Records which can be utilized for querying the symptoms experienced by the patient. Sometimes the Medical Institute does not have the PHR with the exact parameters and symptoms described by the patient. Due to the deficiency in the PHR database, the doctor can employ the use of a data aggregator or vendor for fulfilling the requirement from other medical institutions. The problem in this approach is that there is a lack of trust between the medical Institutions and the data aggregators, as PHR can contain sensitive and personally identifiable information that cannot be shared easily. Therefore, this Publication details the implementation of an effective access control mechanism through the use of the distributed blockchain framework along with the introduction of K means clustering and entropy analysis catalyst by the artificial neural network to alleviate the trust issues. Extensive experimentation on the proposed methodology has confirmed its superiority in comparison to the conventional approaches.
