Experimental Study on Composite Concrete RC Frame Structure using Sisal Fibre

This project aims to compare the mechanical properties of Sisal fiber in the improvement of load carrying capacity of concrete structure in different layers. Beams and columns may be strengthened in flexure through the use of sisal fiber bonded to their tension zone using epoxy as a common adhesive. Due to several advantages of sisal fibre wrapping over conventional techniques used for structural repair and strengthening. In our project is study about load carrying capacity of an RCC frame wrapped with sisal fiber. An experimental study is to predict the maximum load carrying capacity, deflection of the composite RCC structure. Finally the results are compared with conventional framed structure, which is suitable for strength and rehabilitate the concrete structure.

Embedding Intelligent System on Ambulance and Traffic Monitoring

services that should not get delay. To overcome this situation this paper describes a solution that “ embedding Intelligent system on Ambulance and Traffic monitoring ” which includes alerting and tracking mechanism with traffic light regulating such that the ambulance can achieve a free way as fast as possible. An algorithm is used to control the traffic signals automatically based on the key pressed by the driver from keyboard in the ambulance. The information reading the current as well as future location of ambulance is sent from the ambulance itself. This information is used to optimally control the traffic. The performance of the embedding intelligent system on Ambulance and Traffic monitoring is compared with the Fixed Mode Traffic Light Controller. It is observed that the proposed model is more efficient than the conventional controller in respect of less waiting time, more distance traveled by average vehicles and efficient operation during emergency mode and GSM interface. Moreover, the designed system has simple architecture, fast response time, user friendliness and scope for further expansion.

Literature Survey on Underwater Image Enhancement

Underwater image enhancement is a challenging task and has gained priority in recent years, as the human eye cannot clearly perceive underwater images. We introduce an effective technique to develop the images captured underwater which are degraded due to the medium scattering and absorption. Our proposed method is a single image approach that does not require specialized hardware or knowledge about the structure of the hardware or underwater conditions. We introduce a new underwater image enhancement approach based on multi scale fusion strategy in this paper. In our method, we first obtain the restored image on the base of underwater image model. Then we get the white balance and contrast enhancement image of the restored image respectively. Finally, these two derived inputs are blended by multi scale fusion approach, using saturation and contrast metrics to weight each input. To avoid the sharp weight map transitions that create artifacts in the low frequency of the reconstructed image, multistage fusion strategy is adapted. Experimental results on real world as well as mock underwater images demonstrate that the proposed method is a simplified approach on different underwater scenes and outperforms the existing methods of enhancement.

Introduction to Software Testing

of software testing have become essential knowledge for all software developers. A software developer can expect to use the concepts presented in this book many times during his or her career. This chapter introduces the subject of software testing by describing the activities of a test engineer, de ning a number of key terms, and then explaining the central notion of test coverage. Software is a key ingredient in many of the devices and systems that pervade our society. Software de nes the behavior of network routers, nancial networks, telephone switching networks, the Web, and other infrastructure of modern life. Software is an essential component of embedded applications that control exotic applications such as airplanes, spaceships, and air traf c control systems, as well as mundane appliances. This paper provides an introduction to fundamental concepts of software testing and software product should only be released after it has gone through a proper process of development, testing and bug fixing. Testing looks at areas such as performance, stability and error handling by setting up test scenarios under controlled conditions and assessing the results. This is why exactly any software has to be tested. It is important to note that software is mainly tested to see that it meets the customers’ needs and that it conforms to the standards. It is the usual norm that software is considered of good quality if it meets the user requirements.

Privacy Preserving Public Aditing of Shared Data

preserving mechanism that supports public auditing on shared data stored in the cloud 2 . Particularly, we exploit ring signatures to compute verification metadata needed to audit the correctness of shared data. Using our idea , of the signer on each block in shared data is kept private from all public verifiers, who are able to easily verify shared data integrity without getting the entire file. In addition, our mechanism is able to perform various auditing tasks at same time instead of verifying them one by one. The propose system, a privacy preserving public auditing mechanism for shared data in any source particularly cloud. We can use ring signatures to build homomorphism authenticators, so that a public verifier is able to perform auditing task shared data integrity without retrieving the entire data to improve efficiency further extend our mechanism to support batch auditing. There are two problems we will continue to study for our future work. One of them is traceability of data , which means the group manager can able to reveal the identity of the signer based on verification metadata in some special situations.

Deadlock in DBMS

waiting for a resource held by the other processes in the same set. This paper describes the deadlock detection and prevention using wait for graph and some deadlock resolution algorithms which resolves the deadlock by selecting victims using different criteria. In a multi process system, deadlock is a situation, which arises in a shared resource environment where a process indefinitely waits for a resource, which is held by some other process, which in turn waiting for a resource held by some other process. To prevent any deadlock situation in the system, the DBMS aggressively inspects all the operations which transactions are about to execute. DBMS inspects operations and analyzes if they can create a deadlock situation. If it finds that a deadlock situation might occur, then that transaction is never allowed to be executed.

Comparative Study on Strength Enhancement of Concrete using Magnetic and Normal Water

mineral content is existing in regular water. It leads to affect the sturdiness of concrete shape and also life spans of shape are reduced. One of the recent technologies used to enhance the compressive strength and workability of concrete is using magnetized water as a substitute of ordinary water in concrete mixes. This new technological know how has increased the compressive strength. Using magnetized water in concrete is fantastic in terms of decrease porosity and higher. In this technology, by using passing water through a magnetic field, the range of molecules in the water cluster is breakdown into small from 13 to 5 or 6, which reasons a decrease in the surface tension of water and also expand the pH and reduces the hardness in the water with an improvement in the workability and power of concrete. Due to the smaller measurement of molecules, the water layer surrounding the cement is thinner than normal water molecules. These initiatives are examined to compare the power of normal water and magnetized water in concrete. The discount of the quantity of salt and mineral content in water will improve resistance to corrosion excessively. In this study, the effect of magnetic water and regular water on workability and power of M30 grade concrete was studied and comparative observation for NWC and MWC by means of compression strength and spit tensile strength.

Prediction of Power Consumption and Leakage Detection

residential buildings play an important role within the energy management and system, as the availability and demand of energy resources is the dynamic and seasonal changes. Human beings are unaware of the cost of energy consumed by various appliances and the energy resources available for the next generation. Each appliances in homes will consume different power consumption in different seasons. Accordingly the bill rate changes.

Biometric Electronic Voting Machine

existing Indian voting system. In the present voting system, one can easily poll the fake vote by various wrong methods. This may lead to a big democratic problem. By implementing some changes in the previous systems, we can make the polling process more secured and counting process fast and efficient. By using biometric in voting systems, the process of polling will be more secured than the existing system. In this system, no one can vote instead of the legit voter. All voter information is stored in this system. Here, we are using the fingerprint for the verification purpose. Every individual has a unique fingerprint. So, there will not be any kind of misconduct done while using this system. At the time of counting, the process can be done by connecting the system to the computer making the process faster.

Experimental Based Learning and Modeling of Computer Networks

these days. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of using Cisco Packet Tracer as a simulation tool. This development reflected significant importance for higher education institutions. It ensures that all students have ample networking assistances. The computer network needs consideration of theory and practice. Hence, Cisco packet tracer software is recommended to solve this difficulty. In this paper, design and simulation of a computer network with Cisco network packet tracer simulation software is illustrated. This software would normally not work deprived of a variety of configurations. So, essential steps and configurations of software are explained in this paper which is useful in network design. Extensive simulation results validate this model.

Flexural Behaviour of Steel Fibre Reinforced Geopolymer Concrete

from ancient days. It was expected that the production of cement would be increased from about from 1.5 billion tons in 1995 to 2.2 billion tons in 2020. But 2018 china using 2.37 billion tons individually. India is the second largest producer of cement in the world. Cement industry is expected to reach 550 – 600 million tons per annum at 2025. The cement production contributes nearly 8 of worlds global warming due to emission of greenhouse gases, such as CO2, to the atmosphere. Hence, it is essential to find a substitute material for cement. The technology geopolymer concrete found as alternative for this problem. In this present research, cement is replaced with Fly Ash and GGBS in different percentages with steel fibers. The studies show that the load carrying capacity of most of the gpc mix was in the most cases more than that of conventional ordinary Portland cement concrete mix. The fresh and hardened properties of geopolymer concrete were found with and without steel fiber. The mechanical characteristics of all the examined mixes are to be enhanced by the GGBS content, in both plain and steel fibre reinforced geopolymer concrete. A comparative analysis has been carried out for normal conventional concrete to that of the steel fibre reinforced geopolymer concrete under ambient curing in relation to compressive, split tensile, flexural strengths. As the fibre content generally increases compressive, split tensile and flexural strengths are proportionally increased.
