Optimization of Agriculture Tractor Seat Vibration Using Passive Suspension System and Modelling and Simulating in Ansys
Operators of agricultural tractor perform various tasks at work that expose them to a variety of risk factors. During their work, agricultural tractor operators are exposed to different negative influences, due to which vibrations are especially harmful. Long term exposure of tractor driver to vibrations induced by agricultural tractor operations may lead to various health problems. It is widely recognised that agricultural tractor operators are exposed to high level of whole body vibration WBV during specific farm operations. WBV may leads to Low back Pain LBP and spinal cord related diseases, therefore the objective of the study is to reduce the level of ride vibrations experienced by tractor seats appear to be necessary and some possible methods of achieving significant improvements. In the present study, The vibration transmitted through the seat of a four wheel drive tractor equipped with front suspension axle and shock absorber for the implement, were measured using OR34 2, 4 Channel FFT analyser and then analysed in terms of root mean square RMS accelerations according to the ISO standard. Several tests were conducted in different conditions considering the type of operation harrowing, ploughing and cultivating at different road conditions on road, sugarcane field and flat field with two different running speeds. Then we developed a new suspension system for tractors seat using spring and dampers to reduce the vibration energy and frequencies up to a suitable range for the operator. The vehicle dynamics model of tractor with tandem suspension is modelled and simulated in analysis software ANSYS and optimize the parameters of the seat to achieve rms acceleration in the range of -˜Health guidance caution zone’ HGCZ so that it gives the ride comfort for the operator.

Study of Effective Implementation of Reuse and Recycling of Construction and Demolition Waste Practices in India
The construction sector worldwide is consuming a maximum amount of natural resources and energy. In this respect, the need for reuse and recycling of materials waste had increased over the years due to many infrastructural developments because of increase in rapid population and expansion. For environmental protection, some measures, like limiting the use of finite resources and managing waste disposal, has led to promote to recycle these materials at the end of their service life. For instance, many landfills are approaching their full capacity, with many planned to be closed over the next couple of years. This report presents a case study on the implementation of the construction and demolition waste management practices in the Indian construction sector. The scope was not only limited to the housing but also high rise structures. It is estimated that the waste generated by the housing sector is approximately 17 of the gross materials used, which is about 10 to 12 million tons year, and 32 of such waste has the potential for reuse and recycling. However, the high rise building construction generates construction waste in a large quantity of more than 20 million tons years which shows a high inherent for reusability and reprocessing.

Comparative Analysis of Forced Draft Cooling Tower Using Two Design Methods A Review
Cooling towers make use of evaporation whereby some of the water is evaporated into a moving air stream and subsequently discharged into the atmosphere which results in cooling of the remainder water. The current research reviews various studies conducted on cooling tower using experimental and numerical techniques. Different design configuration and operating conditions on cooling towers are evaluated by various researchers. Significant findings from researches have shown new and improved design of cooling tower with much better performance as compared to conventional design.

A New Proposal for Smartphone Based Drowsiness Detection and Warning System for Automotive Drivers
This paper proposes a Smartphone based system for the detection of drowsiness in automotive drivers. The proposed system uses three stage drowsiness detection technique. The first stage uses the percentage of eyelid closure PERCLOS which is obtained by capturing images with the front camera of the Smartphone with a modified eye state classification method. The system uses near infrared lighting for illuminating the face of the driver during night driving. The second step uses the voiced to the unvoiced ratio VUR obtained from the speech data from the microphone, in the event PERCLOS crosses the threshold. The VUR is also compared with a threshold and if it is a value greater than that of the threshold, it moves on to the next verification stage. In the final verification stage, touch response is required within the stipulated time to declare whether the driver is drowsy or not and subsequently sound an alarm. To awake the driver, a vibrating mechanism is done and also the live GPS location is also sent to an emergency contact. We have studied eight other reference papers for the literature review. The system has three advantages over existing drowsiness detection systems. First, the three stage verification process makes the system more reliable. The second advantage is its implementation on an Android smart phone, which is readily available to most drivers or cab owners as compared to other general purpose embedded platforms. The third advantage is the use of SMS service to inform the control room as well as the passenger regarding the loss of attention of the driver.
