Analysis and Simulation of Asynchronous Machine Connected with Load Accomplished with Chopper Control and PWM Based Inverter

This paper presents the simulation analysis of pulse width modulation based induction motor drive. The main objective of this paper is analysis of asynchronous machine with PWM fed inverter and harmonic analysis of active and reactive power as well as voltage and current. Space vector pulse width modulation technique is used in various industrial applications. Variation in voltage and frequency supply to ac drives is produced from a voltage source inverter and space vector PWM is used frequently now a day due to their easy understanding. This work is based on a SVPWM based induction motor based on space vector theory. The simulation is done on MATLAB software and the simulation results obtained and analyzed.

Online Voting System

In the present pandemic situation, the normal voting method may become dangerous for the lives of voters. So, the online voting method may be a better alternative to conduct elections. As a matter of fact, the online voting method can be developed as a website. Online voting system that facilitates user voter , candidate and administrator who will be in charge and will verify all the user and information to participate in online voting. our online voting system is highly secured, and it has a simple and interactive user interface. The proposed online portal is secured and have unique security feature such as unique id generation that adds another layer of security except login id and password and gives admin the ability to verify the user information and to decide whether he is eligible to vote or not. It also creates and manages voting and an election detail as all the users must login by user name and password and click on candidates to register vote. Our system is also equipped with a chat bot that works as a support or guide to the voters, this helps the users in the voting process.

Experimental Investigation on Performance and Exhaust Emissions of a Diesel Engine Fueled With Palm Oil Shea Butter Oil Blends Biodiesels

In this study, experimental investigations on the performance and exhaust emissions of a diesel engine was carried out using Palm oil Shea butter oil biodiesel as fuel. The two vegetable oils, Shea butter SB and Palm oil PO were blended in the proportion 25 75 , 50 50 , and 75 25 v v. The transesterification of the blended oils were carried out using ethanol, with potassium hydroxide as catalyst. The chemo physical properties of the biodiesels produced were determined experimentally and compared with that of petroleum diesel. Engine performance and emission test were conducted using the engine test bed with the instrumentation unit, emission gas analyzer, and the produced biodiesels as fuel. From the results, it was observed that, the petroleum diesel recorded the highest torque, while biodiesels recorded reduced values of torque at all the loads with the 100 SB and 75 SB 25 PO biodiesels both recorded the same values of torque at all the loads. The 100 SB biodiesel recorded the highest exhaust temperature, while the petroleum diesel recorded the lowest exhaust temperature at all the loads. Exhaust gas temperature increase as the load increases. Biodiesels showed reduced brake power as compared to petroleum diesel, but the 100 SB and 75 SB 25 PO both recorded the highest brake power among the biodiesels at all the loads. Biodiesels recorded higher values of BSFC as compared to petroleum diesel, with the 25 SB 75 PO biodiesel having the highest BSFC at all the loads. The brake thermal efficiency BTE of the petroleum diesel was highest as compared to biodiesels at all the loads. The 25 SB 75 PO and 100 PO biodiesels both recorded the least carbon monoxide CO emissions, and CO emissions decreases with increase in loads. The petroleum diesel recorded the highest CO emissions for all the three loads. The carbon dioxide CO2 emissions increases with increase in loads, with the petroleum diesel recording the least CO2 emissions at all the loads. The petroleum diesel showed increased hydrocarbon HC emissions for all the loads, while the 25 SB 75 PO and 100 PO biodiesels recorded the least HC emission. The 100 SB biodiesel recorded the highest NOx emissions, while the petroleum diesel recorded the least NOx emissions at all the loads. Thus, the 25 SB 75 PO and 75 SB 25 PO with improved engine performance and reduced emissions is suitable for use in diesel engine without engine modification.

Utilization of Banana Peel Powder in Concrete A Result

Analysis of properties of concrete using banana peel as admixture is studied and verified the strength of concrete and temperature emitted due to chemical reaction to the normal Portland cement. The percentage of transmission temperature and reduction time of temperature has decreased hence it is clear that the exothermal reaction in concrete has been reduced by using dried banana peel powder as admixture. The percentage of transmission temperature and reduction time of temperature has decreased hence it is clear that the exothermal reaction in concrete has been reduced by using dried banana peel powder as admixture. Ingredients other than cement, water and aggregates that import a specific quality to either plastic fresh mix or the hardened concrete ASTMC 496 is called concrete admixture. The flexural strength of concrete by using banana peel powder as admixture has increased, but considerable lesser compressive strength has increased.

Performance Evaluation of Power Tiller and its Attachments for Mechanizing Rice Cultivation in Eastern Uttar Pradesh

Many lessons have been learned since agricultural mechanization was first introduced and adopted across many regions. Eastern UP can apply and learn from the drawbacks and achievements in other countries in its efforts to devise and implement a sustainable agricultural development strategy for the future. Such a strategy can enhance and improve development outcomes and sustainability, support further development of agro industries, and increase scientific and technological innovation and capabilities, while pursuing coordinated urban and rural economic development. This paper focuses on and analyzes mechanization strategies and case studies in postharvest and mechanization that have been carried out over several decades to address differing conditions in countries and their policies towards their rice mechanization systems. As such, the emphasis is on the technologies, policies, practices, strategies, and models that relate to different parts of mechanization systems within specific regions. However, while many mechanization drivers and needs differ from one place to another, a wide range of mechanization elements can be transferred to suit local aspects and conditions in new locations. Furthermore, success stories can help in conceptualizing time and decision making needs, and can also avoid the drawbacks that have appeared in some countries’ mechanization systems, with the goal of leading to faster and more adequate adaptation of different technologies and policies in various implementation stages. There is no consensus on the definition of mechanization, and even when specialists agree on a definition, they sometimes disagree about whether or not it fits particular needs. The term “mechanization” describes the introduction of tools, implements, and machinery for improving the productivity of farm labor and of land it may use either human, animal, or motorized power, or a combination of these. In practice, therefore, mechanization involves the provision and use of all forms of power sources and mechanical assistance for agriculture, from simple hand tools to draught animal power to mechanical power technologies. Hence, agricultural mechanization is the application of mechanical technology and increased power to agriculture, largely as a means to enhance the productivity of human labor and often to achieve results well beyond the capacity of human labor. This includes the use of tractors of various types, internal combustion engines, electric motors, renewable energy, and other methods of energy conversion. Based on the source of power, the technological levels of mechanization have been broadly classified as hand tool technology, draught animal technology, and mechanical power technology. Mechanization also includes irrigation systems, food processing, and related technologies and equipment.

An Experimental Study on Mechanical Characteristics of Treated Bamboo Reinforced Concrete Beams

Recently, in the attention in response to global warming issues and sustainable society, the manufacturing using natural materials has become actively. Bamboo, low cost, fast growing, and broad distribution of growth, is expected to contribute significantly to earthquake resistant construction and seismic retrofit technology in the developing countries. This paper investigates the mechanical properties of bamboo reinforced concrete beams. It compares these experimental results of bamboo reinforced concrete beams with the experimental ones of reinforced concrete beams and the mechanical property of the bamboo reinforced concrete beams is studied. From these experimental works, the possibility of effective using of ‘Bamboo is discussed.
