A Comparative Study between Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing

The Internet has drastically changed in the past decade. Now internet has more business than before and therefore there is a increase in Advanced Persistent Threat groups and Adversaries. After all the advancement in technology and innovation Web application Security is still a challenge for most of the organization all over the world, Because every time APT’s groups and Threat actors uses different Tactics Techniques and Procedure TTPs for exploiting any organization. There can be many techniques to mitigate such attacks such as defensive coding, hardening system firewall, implementing IDS and IPS using of SIEM tools etc. The solution contains monitoring different logs, events and regular assessment of organizations network which is known as Vulnerability Assessment which is a generalized or a sequenced review of a security system and the other one is penetration testing also known popularly as ethical hacking or red teaming assessment where the client’s poses themselves as real Hackers and try to penetrate into the company’s network to check if it’s really secure or not.In this paper we will be comparing these two methods and techniques and also decide at the end which of the above two method is more superior and why.

A Review on Modeling and Analysis of Multi Stage with Multi Phase DC DC Boost Converter

A new version of the new Hybrid Boost DC DC ready to draw power from two different DC sources for standard DC bus feeds is presented in this paper. An important feature of the proposed converter is that both sources provide simultaneous power to a lower load than the reduced current rate. This feature is very attractive for DC grid applications. With the analysis of the time zone, steady state performance is established and the transformational power correction parameters are obtained. In this paper, a powerful converter is introduced, with its operating principles based on charging pumps and converters of reinforcement series. In addition, although three switches are used, no separate gate driver is required instead of one bridge gate driver and one gate driver on the lower side. As such, the proposed converter is easy to analyze and easy to operate. In addition, additional test results are provided to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed converter.

Man Go Pack, All Mode VHF UHF HF Portable Go Kit, on and Off Grid, for Emergency Communications System

The design and implementation of a Man Go Pack are to build a combination of a Manpack radio and a Go kit in one package. The design of the Man Go Pack for Emergency Communication EmCom follows the design principle of building a device that is portable and can be operated in any condition and situation. From the results and findings, it was noted that the construction of the manpack is easy but needs smaller and light integral devices to make it more compact. The device will work to almost all of the amateur band, commercial, and marine frequency. Weather channels such as from the NOAA can also be monitored on the device. The device can be operated as both Manpack for portable operations and also as a field radio in a Go kit configuration. The device can be simply deployed in an emergency situation especially when normal communication infrastructure failed during the disaster. With the low cost of construction, the device is highly recommended for the Local Government Unit Emergency Communication Device. The LGU’s can also be developed or build a similar device for emergency communication purposes. The device can be used as portable and field operation for amateur radio hobbyists in pursuing distant contact or DX.

Thermal Characteristics of Different Shaped Fin Protracted Heat Exchanger in Diesel Engine Exhaust using CFD

The current presents looks at exhaust gases potential to recover low grade waste heat energy from internal combustion engines ICEs . A Prolonged Fin Counter Flow Heat Exchange PFCHE double tube was planned, analyzed, and supplied with water as working fluids to achieve this objective. The structure of a double pipe, Protracted Fin Heat Exchanger PFCHE , which performs a simulation study, is derived with exact measurements from one by Rajesh Ravi et al. 2020 research scholar, and then different shapes of the fin profiles were introduced in the designs suggested. The Fluent 17.0 is used for numerical analysis. The CFD results showing that the PFCHE with triangular fin outperforms the PFCHE with circular fin, and previous studies by Rajesh Ravi et al. 2020 showing that the PFCHE with triangular fin outperforms the PFCHE with circular fin. When compared to the PFCHE with circular fin, the PFCHE net heat transfer rate is 1.76 percent higher and 2.82 percent higher than Rajesh Ravi et al. 2020 report.

Control on Blast Furnace Skip Car Derailment by use of Pareto Analysis

The skip car in blast furnace is used to transfer and charge raw materials such as coke, iron ore, sinter and additives like limes stone dolomites into the furnace. This Skip Car has to withstand heavy wear caused by loading and unloading of those raw materials onto the Car body, which subjects it to derailment while delivering the charge raw material into the blast furnace. If skip car derailed during travelling material charging stopped in blast furnace has been stopped and due to that hot metal production has stopped. Most of the derailment occurs during skip car return from dumping level near of track changing area. Due to derailment of skip car skip bridge structure and skip car body got damaged, also repositioning of skip car is difficult task as car gets toppled from track. We have required to strengthening of bridge structure which got damaged during skip car derailment. For this purpose, corrective measures are suggested to minimize the derailment of skip car with the help of Quality Circle tools.

IoT Based Smart Water Monitoring and Distribution System For An Apartments

As we know water is so precious for human being as well as for the complete nature without which it will not be possible to survive. Even though lot many efforts have been taken by government through various schemes and it is becoming difficult day by day to save water for future and make efficient utilization of it. In this proposed work, an IoT design for water monitoring and control approach which supports internet based data collection on real time bases. This proposed system shall implement in highly populated residential buildings like hotels, lodge, hostels, dormitory, apartments, shopping malls etc. And also, this system can provide a complete survey and the usage of water by every individual room. This system addresses that the flow rate measuring and scheming the supply of water in order to limit the water wastage and approach the water conservation and also this system can measure the quality and quantity of water distributed to every household by using ph and flow rate sensors. The system has been designed in such a way that it will monitor the available water level continuously. System has been implemented by using embedded system and communication will takes.

Development and Characterization of Cardanol Based Polymer Reinforced Fibre Bicomposites

The emerging quest for optimal use of naturally obtained resources through advanced technigues and products has escalated research and exploration of naturally oriented renewable materials. In present investigation, cardanol, obtained from cashew nut shell liquid CNSL , was utilized as base material for a thermosetting polymer TP development. Furthermore, rice husks flour RHF was utilized as reinforcement for the TP. The fabricated biocomposite was characterized for microstructure, thermal behavior and biodegradability. Results from DSC and TG analysis revealed that the sample filled with 5 wt. NaOH modified RHF demonstrated most superior thermal stability, and tensile strength. Moreover, results from FESEM revealed uniform dispersion, and bonding to polymer matrix. Enhanced biodegradability was realized from NaOH modified RHF filled biocomposite post 90 days of monitored soil tests. Therefore, the cardanol obtained TP and biocomposites demonstrated good prospects for application in the electronics, automotive and furniture industry.
