Study on Behavior of Concrete with Artificial Substance and Metallurgical Slags

Construction industry desires greater material and electricity resources. Among all, concrete occupies 70 of the substances and suggests a sizable impact. With increasing scarcity of river sand and natural aggregate throughout the country, construction quarter is underneath high quality pressure to discover choice to these basic construction cloth to meet the developing needs of infrastructure demands. Mortar is the regular binding fabric used in construction field for masonry and plastering works. The utilization of sand alternative substances is properly accepted, seeing that it leads to several feasible improvements in the concrete composites, as properly as the overall economy. Fayalite slag is one of the substances which is regarded as a by product in the manufacturing technique of Fayalite Slag. The foremost goal of this paper is to use Fayalite slag as a partial replacement of sand due to the fact it resembles the characteristics of sand and also we have found an alternative approach to dispose the waste generated in the industries. Simply we can say that it is “Waste to Wealth.” In addition to that technology of early cracks in the concrete constructions is some other unrevealed hassle in construction field. Researchers are creating a number fundamental to limit the cracks. Here we a reincorporating metal fibers and polypropylene fibers in the concrete in order to reduce it. For each and every ratio distinctive specimens had been casted. Compressive strength, flexural energy and break up tensile strength check have been carried out and effects we reanalyzed .In a case, Fayalite slag is introduced up to 40 as a substitute of fine aggregate and it offers the maximum effects in all the strength parameters. The fibreis brought to the volume of cement with quite a number proportions from 0.5 , 1 ,1.5 .While including up to 1.5 percent of fibre with 40 of Fayalite slag, the ratio of 1 proportion gives the maximum result, it is discovered that compressive strength is increased up to 53 .

Study on Behaviour of Concrete by Replacing Cement Partially with Powdered Glass and Sandling Wood

The consumption of cement in concrete industries growing day via day. Concrete is the most extensively used development fabric in civil engineering enterprise due to the fact of its excessive structural power and stability. The most vital phase of concrete is the cement. Use of cement on my own as a binder fabric produces massive warmness of hydration given that the manufacturing of this uncooked cloth its large quantity of CO2. The CO2 emission from cement is very unsafe to the environmental changes. The concrete enterprise is searching for supplementary cementitious cloth with the goal of decreasing the CO2 emission which is damaging to environment. The nice way of lowering CO2 emissions from the cement enterprise is to use the industrial via merchandise or use of supplementary cementing cloth such as fly ash, silica fume, noticed dirt ash and metakaolin. In this existing experimental work an try is made to change cement in part by using Saw dirt Ash SDA and Glass powder to overcome these problems. The cement has been changed by means of SDA in the proportion of 10 , 20 , 30 and with the aid of glass powder in the share of 2 by using weight of cement for M20 grade mix, it was once examined for compressive power and cut up tensile energy at the age of 7, 14, and 28 days and in contrast with these of traditional concrete.

Lane and Object Detection for Autonomous Vehicle using Advanced Computer Vision

The vision of this project is to develop lane and object detection in Autonomous Vehicle system to run efficiently in normal road condition and to eliminate the use of high cost Light based LiDAR system to implement high resolution cameras with advanced computer vision and deep learning technology to provide an Advanced Driver Assistance System ADAS . Detecting lane lines could be a crucial task for any self driving autonomous vehicle. Hence, this project was focused to identify lane lines on the road using OpenCV. The OpenCV tools such as colour selection, the region of interest selection, grey scaling, canny edge detection and perspective transformation are being employed. This project is modelled as an integration of two systems to solve the real time implementation problem in autonomous vehicles. The first part of the system is lane detection by advanced computer vision techniques to detect the lane lines to command the vehicle to stay inside the lane marking. The second part of the system is object detection and tracking is to detect and track the vehicle and pedestrians on the road to get a clear understanding of the environment to plan and generate a trajectory to navigate the autonomous vehicle safely to its destination without any crashes, this is done by a special deep learning method called transfer learning with Single Shot multibox Detection SSD algorithm and Mobile Net architecture.

Design and Drawing for Multi Storied Apartments for High Income Group

Problem is becoming acute day by day and the valuable urban land is shorting at a very fast rate with the growing demand of increasing population. The conventional law rise development cannot meet the rising demand of more number of dwelling units per unit area so the only solution is high rise development with enough open spaces around the buildings for proper light and ventilation. In any developing country like housing is one of the most important problems faced by the several people particularly the urban mass as the valuable urban land is becoming scarce at a very fast pace along with the growing demand of increasing population. The conventional low rise development cannot meet the rising demand of more number of dwelling units per unit area so the only solution is high rise development.

General Formula for Optimum Location of Chip Breaker in Tool Inserts for Industrial Safety

Metal cutting process depends on chip generation for its effectiveness. It is a measurable quantity which largely depends on the nature of chips generated and its effect on the tool performance. This paper shall consider occupational health and safety to address the concept of chip breakers used in machining of ductile materials. The mechanics of metal cutting shall be the basis for the said derivation with the premise being that of fracture on account of a combined state of bending and shear stresses during the chip propagation. This can be effective to design tool inserts with optima in perspective so that the end users being machine operators are ensured with a safe working zone without the presence of long continuous chips that can cause hazards like bodily injury or severing of delicate organs thereby meeting the international standard requirements. Towards the end, various health and safety aspects shall be summarized and a conclusion shall be drawn accordingly.

Recognizing of Text and Product Label from Hand Held Entity Intended for Visionless Persons

Our proposed work involves recognizing text and product label reading from portable entities intended for Visionless Persons using Raspberry Pi 3, ultrasonic sensor. Raspberry Pi 3 is the controller used in the proposed device. GPS is fixed in the system and it is used to find the exact location of the person in terms of longitude and latitude, this information is sent to the caretaker through e mail. The caretaker can use the latitude and longitude to find the address on Google Maps. The camera is used to identify the obstacle or object ahead and the output is told to the blind user in speech form. The camera also identifies objects with words on them, using image processing these images are converted to text, and using Tesseract the text is converted to speech, thus giving the speech output to the blind about what is written on the object. RF ID is used to find the stick using tags. The buzzer goes ON to identify the location of the stick. A threshold value for distance between the user and the stick is set, when the distance is less than the threshold value, the buzzer sound increases.

Dust Monitoring Systems and Health Hazards in Coal Mining A Review

The dust produced during mining operation causes critical illness to miners. The mining workers are constantly at the risk of getting respiratory illness due inhalation of mining dust, particulate matter PM and heavy metals. The current research studies the hazards of mining and effect of coal dust on health of workers. The instruments that can be used to measure quartz content, coal dust concentration is also discussed. The mathematical modelling of dust dispersion is also studied.
