Power Quality Improvement using Shunt Active Power Filter with PI and PID Controller


Problems caused by power quality have great adverse economical impact on the utilities and customers. Current harmonics are one of the most common power quality problems and are usually resolved by the use of shunt passive or active lters. In this paper we have compared the THD values of Shunt active power filter with PI and PID controller application for a given model. The design concept of the adaptive shunt active lter is veri ed through simulation studies and the results obtained are discussed. THD is most suitable to control the shunt active power filter in term of total harmonic reduction THD . MATLAB SIMULINK power system toolbox is used to simulate the proposed system.

Smart Aeterial Blood Gas Analyzer

The Patient's blood sample records are all not able to get properly as more no of samples are used daily in that machine. More samples, transportation and storage that are lead to loss of data or it will become some technical issues. So it is important to get data securely to doctor's hands. We have taken ABG machine's database to store and retrieve information whenever it is necessary. Blood gas analysis is used to measure oxygenation level, partial pressure, electrolytes and other parameters. We are using Arduino and cloud netwo
rk that offers proven solution for backing databases to the storage. The readings can be view by the mobile application.

Research, Design and Manufacture of Seal Binding Automechanism for 6 Pronged Plastic Seals


In this paper, the author presents the result on researching, designing and manufacturing a seal bing mechanism for 6 pronged plastic seals to apply in laser engraving lines of logos, barcodes, codes ... with automatic 6 pronged plastic seals. Unlike the conventional clamping machenism that require two clamping and rotating mechanisms for twisting, this seal binding mechanism is designed to integrate and connect the clamping mechanism to the rotating mechanism, therefore, the structure is compact and effective. The seal binding mechanism is implemented during the process of collecting seals, if achieved, 10 seals will clamp and twist the wire to bind seals each bundle with each bundle of 10 seals in 14 seconds, the number of twisted turns when binding from 4 to 5 turns. In order to ensure a reliable and stable working process, the twisting machenism is designed and used with a sensor to count the number of turns, the angle of twist to release the clamp. These processes are programmed by PLC for control.

Automated Water Management and Distribution System using DTMF

Water shortage is a genuine issue in major cities. One of the foremost critical viewpoints of any town administration includes water management. It may be a pivotal perspective as nowadays water assets are exceptionally constrained and nobody can bear its wastage. This project deals with approximate mechanization within the water conveyance and administration with specialized advances. In this system, water volume will be detected by the water level sensor. As the water volume drops the motor is automatically turned on. The supply of water to diverse regions computerized through the utilize of DTMF. Different Solenoid valves are controlled by using the microcontroller for the conveyance of water. Motor speed is controlled with respect to tank water level. Photocatalytic Degradation of Ciprofloxacin using TiO2 in a Slurry Photocatalytic Reactor Optimization


A slurry photocatalytic reactor assessed for the degradation of ciprofloxacin CFX . The effect of operating parameters like initial ciprofloxacin concentration, catalyst dosage and pH on ciprofloxacin degradation was analysed in this study. Batch study was conducted and it showed 90 degradation of the CFX. It was observed the optimum concentration of CFX was 1500 µg l, catalyst dosage was 1 g l at the pH of 9 for the duration of 3 hours. The photocatalytic degradation of CFX followed the pseudo first order kinetics.
