Basic Analysis of Continous Variable Transmission

Worldwide there have been many transmission systems proposed according to different point of views. CVT was first conceptualized as a stepless continous variable transmission in year 1490 by Leonardo da Vinci. From then it has gone through tremendous development to be ready as an efficent transmission system for the automobile sector. This paper discusses its development and contribution to the said sector.

Understanding the Need of Data Integration in E Healthcare

This paper discusses the current scenario of e healthcare and different dimensions of Big data in healthcare and the importance of data integration in e health care and the challenges associated with data integration and associated uses of data integration with respect to different use cases which might be helpful to physician's decision making because the data driven decision making involves combination of heterogeneous data which includes Electronic Health Record containing different types of data and connected healthcare organization in order to provide value based connected healthcare which would be useful to primary healthcare center located at different location because patients suddenly expect their healthcare experiences to be as exceptional and as transparent as those of retail or banking, and physician's have to scramble to adjust to these new expectations due to lack of data integrity.

Implementation of Digital Hearing AID for Sensory Neural Impairment

Hearing impairment is a chronicle disability affecting on people in world. The hearing aid is to amplify sound to overcome a hearing loss or impairment. The hearing aid picks up the sound signal with the microphone and amplifies all frequency sound signals but the sensory neural impairment person cannot hear particular frequency of sound in a noisy environment, since the auditory nerve is damaged. In this paper we are using MATLAB to design an adaptive filter for noise removal and filter banks for amplifies the particular frequency that a person with hearing loss can listen.

Design Analysis Automatic Garage Door Opener

The project that we are designing will help us to provide an easy but secure access to garage door. The installation cost of the door is low and the changes that are required to be done are also very less. To build such a door opener we need 1 Electric motor 2 Sliding door with rack and pinion arrangement 3 Wiring system, 4 Power source 5 Supporting clamps 6 Arduino Uno ,IR sensors 7 A remote to open and close the gate We are designing this automatic door in order to understand the basic functions of the automatic door and also detailed working of the concepts behind this. This project will also help us to acquire some basic knowledge about electrical circuits, sensors and welding processes.

Control and Power Management in HRES System

A novel energy control strategy for a battery super capacitor in HRES, which is designed to be tunable to achieve different goals, is described. Two possible goals for adding a pack of super capacitors are examined for a test micro grid using lead acid batteries 1 improving the microgrid'sefficiency and range and 2 reducing the peak currents in the battery pack to increase battery life. The benefits of hybridization are compared with those achievable by increasing the size of the battery pack by a comparable mass to the super capacitors. The availability of energy from regenerative braking and the characteristics of the super capacitors are considered as impact factors. Super capacitors were found to be effective at reducing peak battery currents however, the benefits to range extension were found to be limited. A battery life extension of at least 50 is necessary to make super capacitors cost effective for the test vehicle at current prices.

Interfacing and Interconnection of Microgrid Systems A Review

This paper put forwards a comprehensive review on planning of grid integrated distributed generators. An overview of different DG technologies has been presented. Different issues associated with DG integration have been discussed. The planning objectives of DG integration have been surveyed in detail and have been critically reviewed with respect to conventional and RES based DG technologies. Different techniques used for optimal placement of DGs have also been investigated and compared. The extensive literature survey revealed that researchers have mostly focused on DG integration planning using conventional DGs. RES based DGs have not been given due consideration. While integrating RES, their stochastic behaviour has not been appropriately accounted. Finally, visualizing the wide scope of research in the planning of grid integrated DGs an attempt has been made to identify future research av

enues.

Automatic Detection and Notification of Potholes on Roads to Aid Drivers

India, the second most populous Country in the world and a fast growing economy, is known to have a gigantic net work of roads. Roads are the dominant means of transportation in India today .They carry almost 90percent of country's passenger traffic and 65percent of its freight .However, most of the roads in India are narrow and congested with poor surface quality and road maintenance needs are not satisfactorily met. Roads in India normally have speed breakers so that the vehicle's speed can be controlled to avoid accidents. However, these speed breakers are unevenly distributed with uneven and unscientific heights. Potholes, formed due to heavy rains and movement of heavy vehicles, also become a major reason for traumatic accidents and loss of human lives. To address the above mentioned problems, a cost effective solution is needed that collects the information about the severity of potholes and humps and also helps drivers to drive safely. With the proposed system an attempt has been made to endorse drivers to ward off the accidents caused due to potholes and raised humps.
