Analysis of Multi Storey Building using Structural Software MIDAS General

Earthquakes are known to produce one of the most destructive forces on earth. It has been seen that during past earthquakes many of the buildings were collapsed. Therefore, realistic method for analysis and design are required

. Performance Based Design is the modern approach for earthquake resistant design. It is an attempt to predict the performance of buildings under expected seismic event. A structure designed with Performance Based Design PBD concept does not developed undesirable failure mechanism during earthquake. The analysis can be performed on new as well as existing buildings and the performance of buildings in future earthquake can be evaluated. In this research we apply different type type of analysis method on the 30 storey building plan and compare the result.

A Review Design of Effective Braking and Efficient Transmission System

This paper focuses on the designing, simulation and fabrication of brake disc and a constant speed two stage reduction gearbox for an All Terrain Vehicle ATV . In our paper, we have presented an efficient gearbox and brake disc which is lightweight and long lasting. The drive train consists of Continuous Variable Transmission CVT and a constant mesh two stage reduction gearbox. The gearbox and disc brake were modeled on SOLIDWORKS version 2018 and analyzed on ANSYS mechanical workbench version 2016 and the result were found to be satisfactory.

Key Aspect for Approach of Smart Grid Design System

With development of smart grid technology, power generation and distribution network acts as new brain in this field. In this technology, the network will not only get going to integrated and set communicable all over the country but its demand will be tracked by the control centers in different aspect and at high time the usage of power is going to cost higher than the actual rate with intimation given to the customer through notification via sms or email. Through this research, the designing for Smart Grids was inspected from a logical aspect, monitoring its behavioral, and physical, and must observe the optimal integration of entire system. From the conventional distribution system, we can see the designed for the control of all the constituents as observe to be autonomous with each other. Thus, centralization in control and consolidated functionality are the main challenges discover by the distribution system. To minimize these matter of concern, the term ""distribution system and its responsibilities"" came into effect by using information and communications technology ICT to power the resolution in circulating distribution system. For preparing the outline in this aspect, this paper aims to present a layout in initiating smart grid technology and responsibilities. In contrast we argue to design an interest in the field of Smart Grid.

Experimental Analysis on Vulnerability of RCC Members Due to Floods

buildings that is severely affected by floods. The buildings in the flood prone areas of Chennai city is mapped using ArcGIS. Mapping of these areas helps to make immediate strategies on those areas during flood. Various techniques are incorporated to reduce the vulnerability of the building, Crystalline admixture has been used to turn the normal ordinary Portland cement to hydrophobic cement which makes it has highly water repellent and Epoxy resin is applied has a coating to the reinforced bars to make it corrosion resistant and helps it to fight against sulphate attack. These techniques is also applicable during the construction of coastal buildings with very low vulnerability. Using of these techniques in buildings helps the structure to gain more durability and sustainability especially during the time of flood.

Modified Child Rescue System against Open Borewell

In the past few years, children get trapped into the bore well hole which is left uncovered. The rescue process to save the child from bore well is long and complicated. To avoid this, there have been several rescue system designs available currently. Even now the existing systems are not satisfactorily used to rescue the child from bore hole. The proposed design is to rescue trapped child from bore well within short period and with safely. An additional component like adjustable arms, digital integrated camera, audio communication, rope and pulley drive are added to the design to improve rescue operation. CCTV camera is used to continuously monitor the child's condition. This system has a high power LED which acts as a light source since light intensity inside the hole will be less. The advancement in the field of automation along with the mechanical design has a great impact on the society.. The modern equipments are implemented for various parts of the system, since the system performs a life rescuing activity. The light weight servomotors are implemented for the system's operations. Borewell rescue System is a human controlled computerized system embedded with additional safety devices.

Design and Analysis of an Exoskeleton Arm

In this study, the exoskeleton arm has been analyzed to obtain the maximum sustainable load which is to be lifted by the arm hook. This preliminary analysis is required to design the capacity of another power source that operates the exoskeleton arm. For less power consumption and the weight, suitable material is selected. The 3 D model of the exoskeleton arm is prepared by using PROE software and computationally analyzed by using ANSYS transient structural tool. The results are simulated for different hook load condition. The safe design condition of the exoskeleton arm has been determined from the simulated results and the proposed model has been selected for the further advancements.

Safety Assessment in Construction Projects

The Building area is growing very fast and indispensable to Development involving of Building. Workers Operate in dangerous Environmental and accidents are a common incidence at Building sites. The fundamental Objective of the learn about has been investigate the Safety of worker at constructing sites, and arose out of the need to have a safer working environment. Safety and what have an effect on it have been examined and the most effective preventive and mitigation measure, which can be adopted, that are like minded with the practices and applied sciences handy regarded at. The Methodology adopted involves, an big Literature review, Collection of records by use of Questionnaires, on spot web site test plus oral interviews at Building site. The finding of study are, that the stakeholders are not nicely educated in security planning and administration but they have a main function in providing and keeping a protection at constructing sites, the protective gear and first aid furnished is now not sufficient, and attention plus attitude closer to safety at all level in poor. A protection Assessment tool for building sites has been developed, Conclusion and Recommendation made, which include integrating safety into standard expert coaching and site management, plus introduction of a fine safety.
