Experimental Analysis of Machining Parameters on Turning with Single Point Cutting Tool

The metal cutting process for material removing in turning process using a single point tool on the work piece will influence, the machining parameters in terms of efficiency under variable cutting conditions such as speed of the spindle , feed rate and depth of the cute rate during the removal of material in the form of chips from the cylindrical work piece. The HSS Single point cutting tool is one of the important tool for machining operations in many manufacturing industries. In this paper, the experimental analysis is performed and the effect of parameters like variable speed on the spindle, depth of the cut and feed on surface roughness, tool life and MRR are determined and compared. The work piece choosen for the experiment is S50C medium carbon steel with HSS single point Cutting tool and the results are obtained, calculated and tabulated.

Digital Scent Technology A Critical Overview

The technology has targeted only on our sense of sight and sound so far. This is the reason why we have realistic looking games, and graphics card. What if we could send the smell of spice and flowers with pictures Now with the digital scent technology we are able to sense, transmit and receive the smell through internet in which a perfume can smelled online before buying them, freshness of a food which are ordered through online can be checked, can smell burning rubber in our favourite racing game or send scented e cards from scent enable websites. As this technology gains extensive assert, there is nothing stopping it from entering into all areas of virtual world. Envisage being able to smell things using a device connected to our computer. Digital scent technologies are making this a reality. This paper presents a detailed analysis on broadcasting of smell, hardware devices and applications of digital smell technology.

Base Isolation Retrofitting Design for the Existing 9 Story Large Panel Apartment Building

In Armenia seismic isolation of existing buildings is becoming a more common method of providing protection from earthquake damage. Thanks to the works of the author of this paper in nowadays Armenia is well known as a country where seismic base and roof isolation systems are widely implemented in construction of new and retrofitting of existing buildings. The number of seismically isolated buildings per capita in Armenia is one of the highest in the world - second after Japan. The paper given below emphasizes that Armenia achieved significant results also in local manufacturing testing of seismic isolation laminated rubber steel bearings SILRSBs . Several re markable projects on retrofitting by base isolation of the existing buildings like apartment, school, hotel and hospital buildings are briefly mentioned in the paper to demonstrate the retrofitting experi ence accumulated in Armenia. Based on the gained experience further developments take place and unique base isolation structural concepts and technologies created by the author are applied more and more to the existing buildings. In this paper base isolation retrofitting design and analysis by the Ar menian Seismic Code for the 9 story large panel apartment building is described. This will be a first application of base isolation retrofitting technology to a building the bearing system of which con sists of reinforced concrete large panels. It is stated that suggested seismic isolation strategy is reduc ing the cost of retrofitting of the given existing building about 5 times in comparison with the cost of conventional strengthening. The other important factor is that applied structural concept allows retro fitting without interruption of the use of considered building.

Fabrication of Pin on Disc Wear Test Rig

Wear occurs to the hardest of materials, including diamond, wear studies having focused on surface damage in terms of material removal mechanisms, including transfer film, plastic deformation, brittle fracture and tribochemistry Within most industry segments, significant financial losses may be incurred due to accelerated wear of various components. In order to minimize the effects of mechanical wear and extend product life, coating solutions introduced into production and is further developing them to meet even more demanding wear applications. Applying coatings is an established industrial method for resurfacing metal parts. Failure of mechanical components due to wear is the most common and unavoidable problem in mechanical processing industries. This paper explore various techniques of assessing the wear resistance of coated and uncoated materials. Test equipment for sliding wear, erosion, impact and dynamic wear tests is induced, Processes for measuring wear rates are highlighted and Procedure for measuring wear of a specimen is discussed. Mechanical devices sometimes fail because of the wear in the moving parts due to friction. This results in significant amount of investment to replace the worn out parts. The wear testing rig is a device to simulate wears in the laboratory. The pre

sent work is about a design and manufacturing process of a pin on disk apparatus which is used as a test method for determining the wear of any two sliding materials. The aim of this paper is to give information about the design steps and manufacturing procedure for the pin on disk apparatus and to discuss the problems follows the design and manufacturing process.

Analysis of Rework and Rescheduling in Construction Project using SPSS Software

Rework is a primary contributor to time wastage and time table overruns which eventually impact on cost, assets and quality. Rework is additionally affecting the mission performance. So minimizing the transform is important one. The goal of the questionnaire survey is to analyze the motives and have an impact on of rework. Questionnaire survey has been carried out among a variety of construction corporations and contractors in Salem District. The questionnaire prepared based totally on motives and influence of rework. Ranking analysis is completed by means of the use of the SPSS Statistical Package for the Social Sciences .In this analysis it helps to check the stability and consistency of information accumulated from the questionnaire survey. Finding the foremost reasons rescheduling will be done.

Design of Satellite Inspection Terminal for Intelligent Electric Power Patrol System

To address difficulties such as high error rate in data collection, untimely data uploading, and the hidden danger of inspectors, this paper designs a satellite terminal for power patrol over rough terrains. Considering the actual application scenario and the existing technology, the function of each module of the inspection terminal is designed and realized. This terminal accounts for various, flexible space ground integrated communication modes employed both on the ground and satellite, which is easy to operate and has a low power mode. Besides, it can meet the real time data upload requirement of power patrol over rough terrains. The terminal is practical, applicable, so it has application prospects in the modern power patrol system.

Computational of Bioinformatics

Computational methods to analyze biological data. It is a way to introduce some of the many resources available for analyzing sequence data with bioinformatics software. This paper will cover the theoretical approaches to data resources and we will get knowledge about some sequential alignments with its databases. As an interdisciplinary field of science, bioinformatics combines biology, computer science, information engineering, mathematics, and statistics to analyze and interpret biological data. Bioinformatics has been used for in silico analyses of biological queries using mathematical and statistical techniques. Databases are essential for bioinformatics research and applications. Many databases exist, covering various information types for example, DNA and protein sequences, molecular structures, phenotypes, and biodiversity. Databases may contain empirical data. Conceptualizing biology in terms of molecules and then applying informatics techniques from math, computer science, and statistics to understand and organize the information associated with these molecules on a large scale. In this materialistic world, People are studying bioinformatics in different ways. Some people are devoted to developing new computational tools, both from software and hardware viewpoints, for the better handling and processing of biological data. They develop new models and new algorithms for existing questions and propose and tackle new questions when new experimental techniques bring in new data. Other people take the study of bioinformatics as the study of biology with the viewpoint of informatics and systems.
