Comparative Study on Effective Turbulence Model for NACA0012 Airfoil using Spalart – Allmaras as a Benchmark

The present work is dedicated to conduct a comparative study on identifying the effective turbulence model in terms of flow outlet velocity, error percentage, number of iterations and time coefficient using NACA0012 airfoil by considering Spalart – Allmaras as a reference model. The current study considers 12 different turbulence models including Spalart – Allmaras for obtaining the output characteristics individually. The turbulence models in existence such as Standard K epsilon, RNG K epsilon, Realizable variant of K epsilon, Standard K Omega, SST K Omega, BSL K Omega, Transition K KL Omega, Transition SST, Reynolds Stress Linear Pressure Strain , Reynolds Stress Quadratic Pressure Strain , Reynolds stress Stress Omega have been utilized for the evaluation and comparison. The NACA0012 airfoil is modelled using CATIA and the meshed model of the airfoil is analyzed using ANSYS FLUENT under standard boundary conditions. The results obtained have shown that the Standard K – epsilon model is found to have less error percentage in comparison to other turbulence models. The count over the number of iterations taken reveals that the models such as Standard K omega, SST K omega and BSL K omega has shown the least number of iterations compared to rest of the turbulence models for completing the analysis. The time coefficient calculation shows that Standard K omega and SST K omega ranks top by showing less time for conducting the analysis with 77.92 seconds and the maximum time was shown by the Reynolds’s stress models considered in the study.

Design of Solar Car Chassis

The aim is to design, analyze and fabricate a roll cage for Electric Solar Vehicle. It deals with modeling of roll cage of SOLAR POWERED VEHICLE and analyzing it to give an optimum design. The main objective of this research work is to perform analysis structural on our frame considering the safety and ergonomics of driver during any collision or accident, to have a compact frame with less weight and with good asthetics as well. The structure model is prepared in SOLIDWORKS 2018 software and analysis is also done in SOLDWORKS.

Review of Deep Neural Network Detectors in SM MIMO System

A deep neural network detector for SM MIMO has been proposed. Its detection principle is deep learning. For this a neural network must be trained first, and then used for detection purpose. It doesn’t need any channel model and instantaneous channel state information CSI . It can provide better bit error performance compared with conventional viterbi detector VD and also it can detect any length of sequences. For a MIMO system, the channel estimation complexity can be avoided. It can detect in real time as arrives the receiver. The main benefit is it can be used where the channel model is difficult to design and also the channel is continuously varying with time. Ruksana. P | Radhika. Comparison between Reinforced Cement Concrete and Fibre Reinforced Beam using Finite Element Method

Concrete is one of the most widely recognized development material for the most part delivered by utilizing locally accessible ingredients. This paper investigates the study of workability, mechanical properties and finite element method to investigations of reinforced cement concrete RCC with fibre reinforced concrete FRC and containing admixture of conplast SP430 was used. Fibre reinforced concrete is gaining attentionto improve the performance of concrete. Experiments were conducted to study the effect of various fibres on the strength parameters of reinforced cement concrete with fibre reinforced concrete. Three types of concrete were prepared, out of which, the first type was prepare by adding polypropylene fibre in concrete proportion of 0.25 , and 0.3 , the second type was prepared by inclusion of nylon fibre in concrete proportion of 0.25 , and 0.3 , the third was carried out by adding Basalt fibre in the ratio of 0.5 in concrete mix. All the three concrete mixes are prepared with plain M30 grade concrete. The fresh properties like slump cone test are carried out to evaluate the workability of three concrete mixes. The hardened properties like compressive strength, tensile strength and flexural behavior are performed to work out the strength parameter using different proportions of various fibres incorporated in concrete. The experimental results are analyzed by using finite element analysis package ANSYS to predict the mechanical property of composite.

Secured Intrusion Protection System through EAACK in MANETS

Achieving reliable routing has always been a major issue in the design of communication networks, due to the absence of fixed infrastructure among which mobile ad hoc networks MANETs that can take control of the most adversarial networking environment, and the dynamic network topology the nature of open transmission media. In the MANETs these characteristics also more challenging to make the design of routing protocols. The network topology varies so to determining feasible routing paths for distributing messages in a decentralized is a difficult job. Factors such as the extensive distribution of nodes and open medium, variable wireless link quality topological changes, and propagation path loss become pertinent issues and make MANET unprotected to instructions. Thus, it becomes central to develop a systematic intrusion detection scheme to secure Mobile Ad Hoc networks from intruders. In this project, we put forward and applied an efficient IDS mechanism based on Enhanced Adaptive Acknowledgment EAACK especially made for MANETs which performs better than the earlier techniques such as AACK, TWOACK and Watchdog.

Seismic Response of Structure with Single Core

Shear walls and outriggers have been used so far to resist the seismic waves of earthquake and heavy winds actions. The complete failure of the structures that has occurred in the past due to catastrophic earthquake may be avoided with the use of shear wall in the structure. The study is concerned with the use of shear wall as a single core in structure that will resist the seismic waves of earthquake. In the present study analysis of RCC building has been carried out by changing the locations of shear walls in the building. The seismic analysis performed is linear dynamic response spectrum analysis using the well known analysis and design software ETABS 16.2.0. Seismic performance of the building has been investigated based on parameters such as strorey drift, base shear and storey displacement.

Flexible Antennadesign for Wave Applications

In this paper, a three dimensional compact antenna is designed for the automotive industry is proposed. The Antenna is designed by using the flexible substrate that can fix on the top layer of the car. The antenna can be easily fabricated from a printed circuit board and a metal sheet with low cost process and materials polyimide .It helps us to cover the Long Term Evolution LTE and WAVE guidelines, just as with different administrations, for example, GPS, car to car C2C AND remote keyless entry RKE . The structure is design for reduced incorporated flexible reception antenna arrangement with adjusted planar monopole is proposed to cover the Wireless Access Vehicular Environment WAVE band 5.9 GHz concerning vehicular applications.
