Accident Alert System using Advance Microcontroller

In India most of the accidents are happening due to vehicles over speeding. Sometimes if obstacle is close to the vehicle then they won't be able to judge the distance to apply instant brakes and accident is occurred. To avoid accident due to over speeding, obstacle detection using ultrasonic sensors is used. In this project ultrasonic sensor is used for 360degree detection of obstacle. If obstacle is in front of the vehicle less than safety distance, automatically brakes will be applied or if vehicle comes from backside of the vehicle and is at less than safety distance then the warning light is shown to vehicle. Sometimes if vehicle is coming very close to our vehicle just before hit the vehicle the airbags are open.

Tumor Detection and Classification of MRI Brain Images using SVM and DNN

The brain is one of the most complex organ in the human body that works with billions of cells. A cerebral tumor occurs when there is an uncontrolled division of cells that form an abnormal group of cells around or within the brain. This cell group can affect the normal functioning of brain activity and can destroy healthy cells. Brain tumors are classified as benign or low grade Grade 1 and 2 and malignant tumors or high grade Grade 3 and 4 . The proposed methodology aims to differentiate between normal brain and tumor brain Benign or Melign . The proposed method in this paper is automated framework for differentiate between normal brain and tumor brain. Then our method is used to predict the diseases accurately. Then these methods are used to predict the disease is affected or not by using a comparison method. These methodology are validated by a comprehensive set of comparison against competing and well established image registration methods, by using real medical data sets and classic measures typically employed as a benchmark by the medical imaging community our proposed method is mostly used in medical field. It is used to easily detect the diseases. We demonstrate the accuracy and effectiveness of the preset framework throughout a comprehensive set of qualitative comparisons against several influential state of the art methods on various brain image databases.

Fabrication of Switch Operated Sweeping and Floor Cleaning Machine

A Floor Cleaning Machine which is used indoors on a long corridor, comprising a support frame. On the support frame are installed a rotating cleaning organ at the center of frame which is in contact with the floor, the suction mechanism to pull the dust particles coming in contact with the floor cleaning machine and a motor to draw the cleaning organ in rotation, the rotating cleaning organ comprising a cleaning element made of cloths, which is destined to come into direct contact with the Floor. This machine cleans the floor with all the component which are installed over this machine in a single pass. Usually only a single type of cleaning can be done with a machine but this machine has ability to clean the floor in various ways, vacuum cleaner to suck smaller dust particles, Mop to clean the wet and dry floor and a wiper which slides behind the machine. The machine is provided with wheels which run on a motor so that it can be moved on the floor to be washed.

Motor Imagery Recognition of EEG Signal using Cuckoo Search Masking Empirical Mode Decomposition

Brain Computer Interface BCI aims at providing an alternate means of communication and control to people with severe cognitive or sensory motor disabilities. Brain Computer Interface in electroencephalogram EEG is of great important but it is challenging to manage the non stationary EEG. EEG signals are more vulnerable to contamination due to noise and artifacts. In our proposed work, we used Cuckoo Search Masking Empirical Mode decomposition to ignore such vulnerable things. Initially, the features of EEG signals are taken such as Energy, AR Coefficients, Morphological features and Fuzzy Approximate Entropy. Then, for Feature extraction method, Masking Empirical Mode Decomposition MEMD is applied to deal with motor imagery MI recognition tasks. The EEG signal is decomposed by MEMD and hybrid features are then extracted from the first two intrinsic mode functions IMFs . After the extracted features, Cuckoo Search algorithm is used to select the significant features. Different weights for the relevance and redundancy in the fitness function of the proposed algorithm are used to further improve their performance in terms of the number of features and the classification accuracy and finally they are fed into Linear Discriminant Analysis for classification. This analysis produces models whose accuracy is as good as more complex method. The results show that our proposed method can achieve the highest accuracy, maximal MI, recall as well as precision for Motor Imagery Recognition tasks. Our proposed method is comparable or superior than existing method.

Study on Properties of Modified Bitumen for Flexible Pavement Construction using Plastic Scrap and Bakelite

strong, durable and economical. In India, majority of road comprise of bituminous surfaced flexible pavements. Distress symptoms, such as cracking, rutting, etc., are being increasingly caused at earlier stages due to high traffic intensity, over loading of vehicles and significant variations in daily and seasonal temperature of the pavement. Use of fiber waste plastic scrap material with Bakelite in the construction of flexible pavement is gaining importance. The modified bitumen shows better properties desired for road construction like ductility , fire and flash point, penetration, specific gravity. The fiber waste plastic scrap material with Bakelite were heated at 160 180oC and added to the aggregate, was added to bitumen 60 70 at 120 140oC. The fiber waste plastic scrap material with Bakelite aggregate mix were then combined to get the sample for dense bituminous concrete DBC . In fiber waste plastic scrap material with Bakelite modified bitumen the higher marshal stability value is obtained when 4 fiber waste plastic scrap material with 4 Bakelite is added to the mix. We get marshal stability value of 1448 kg for fiber waste plastic scrap material with Bakelite mix and 1186 kg for without fiber waste plastic scrap material with Bakelite mixOptimum binder content reduces When 6 fiber waste plastic scrap material with Bakelite is added 5 in comparison of ordinary bituminous mix 5.5 .Reduce the cost to around Rs. 5000 Km. of single lane road Carry the process in situ

Experimental Study on Utilization of Hybrid Fibers in Self Compacting Concrete

Self compacting concrete is a non segregating concrete that is placed by means of its own weight. It is highly flow able concrete that can spread without need of vibration. In this study steel and polypropylene fiber are used as hybrid fiber to enhance the workability of the concrete. In addition to this, CONPLAST SP 430 is used as a chemical admixture which is added to SCC by the volume of 2 of cement. These components like hybrid fiber and super plasticizer are added to the concrete to improve the better strength and durability of SCC. In this study, the various mix proportions of fibers discussed in this study are 0 , 0.25 , 0.5 , 0.75 , 1 , 1.5 determined by preliminary test on self compacted materials. By this desired compositions test for fresh concrete such as slump flow, L box and V funnel, U box, J ring are performed for SCC. It is found that compression and split tensile strength has been improved by the addition of hybrid fibers at 1 respectively. This experimental investigation is carried out to improve the compressive, split tensile and flexural strength in SCC for obtaining the optimum value.

Investigations on a Diesel Engine Run on used Lubricating Oil Biodiesel Blend as an Alternative Fuel

Exhaust emission coming from IC engines affects not only the environment but also the human health. This serious issue has got attention by the government as well as from the researchers throughout the world. In this regard it is necessary to find out alternative to not only fossil fuel but also environment cooperative fuel. In this regard, investigations were carried out by using Jatropha biodiesel and its blend with used lubricating oil which was discarded after use. The test was carried in a single cylinder diesel engine and different terms such as performance and emissions of diesel engine were found out and compared with diesel operation. It was noticed that engine can be run by using these kinds of fuels. By using these fuels not only we are solving waste disposal problem but also replacing diesel fuel and environment friendly fuel. The used lubricating oils were blended with Jatropha biodiesel in different proportions and test were done.
