Food Policy An Introduction

A food policy is designed to influence the operation of the food system network of farms, distributors, restaurants, retailers, and consumers . It impacts on how food is produced, processed, distributed, marketed, consumed, and disposed. Implementing good food policies is crucial to achieving more equitable and sustainable food systems. This paper provides a brief introduction on food policy.

Food Manufacturing A Primer

Food manufacturing transforms livestock and agricultural products into products for consumption. It involves businesses that collect raw food materials and process them into edible products. It processes a wide range of food and drinks to cater to the needs of the global population. In the United States, the food manufacturing industry has gone through significant changes in recent decades due to climate change effects on agriculture, rising environmental standards, severe competition, and changing and diverse customer expectation
s. This paper provides a primer on food manufacturing.

A Microcontroller Based LPG Cylinder Booking and Leakage Detection using GSM

the society. The main aim of this project is used to design that can automatically gas booking system, gas leakage detection system, alert system and control gas leakage. LPG cylinders have become an integral part of every home. Our kitchens are occupied with LPG cylinders which is used to make delicious food. But it can be very dangerous to make problems in our life. The aim of this project is to design a safety oriented system which will alert the user about any problem in the kitchen through mobile by using GSM and give the buzzer sound by using alert system. This system will detect the gas leakage of LPG and send an alert information to the user, at the same time it will switch off the gas supply of LPG by switching regulator switch using BO Battery Operating motor. It is also used to monitoring the high voltage passing through the home appliances and also industrial sector it will used to reduce the voltage level in the power supply. It also measures safety from any gas leakage accident like explosion. In additional advantage, this system has a load cell used to continuously monitoring the cylinder weight and send information to the user. The project is very helpful to check the entire LPG cylinder booking procedure automated Without human intervention and also Automated cylinder booking we also designed feature related to the safety to the user. And also the LPG Cylinders are produced some heat energy. The heat energy is generating the power by using generator through exhaust fan.

Internet of Things

unique identifiers UIDs and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human to human or human to computer interaction. In the consumer market, IoT technology is most synonymous with products pertaining to the concept of the smart home , covering devices and appliances such as lighting fixtures, thermostats, home security systems and cameras, and other home appliances that support one or more common ecosystems, and can be controlled via devices associated with that ecosystem, such as smart phones and smart speakers.

Control of Two Stage PV Power System under the Unbalanced Three Phase Grid Voltages

Under normal condition, the interleaved boost converter will extract the maximum power point MPP from the PV array and the three phase inverter will inject the power to the grid. During the unbalanced grid fault scenario, the input power and current of the interleaved boost converter will be controlled by the proposed DPD to achieve the power decoupling capability as well as to eliminate the dc link voltage oscillation. The proposed work has been carried out in MATLAB, and the results are presented.

Effect of Temperature and Humidity on Indoor Radon Concentration

Because radon gas is colorless and odorless, it is impossible for humans five senses to know whether one is exposed to it and as it is an inert gas that is nine times heavier than air it is prone to accumulation after being brought into the room through cracks in old buildings, connections and drains, thus creating indoor radon exposure problem. Although indoor radon concentration is related to indoor temperature and humidity, no research has been conducted to actually control indoor temperature and humidity, and to find out how changes in indoor temperature and relative humidity have affected indoor radon concentration. In this paper, we experimented with varying temperature and relative humidity respectively to certain conditions in the laboratory where the thermo hygrostat is installed, and using the results of the measured experiment, the relation between indoor temperature, and relative humidity and indoor radon concentration was explored.

A Deep Neural Framework for Continuous Sign Language Recognition by Iterative Training Survey

Sign Language SL is a medium of communication for physically disabled people. It is a gesture based language for communication of dumb and deaf people. These people communicate by using different actions of hands, where each different action means something. Sign language is the only way of conversation for deaf and dumb people. It is very difficult to understand this language for the common people. Hence sign language recognition has become an important task. There is a necessity for a translator to communicate with the world. Real time translator for sign language provides a medium to communicate with others. Previous methods employs sensor gloves, hat mounted cameras, armband etc. which has wearing difficulties and have noisy behaviour. To alleviate this problem, a real time gesture recognition system using Deep Learning DL is proposed. It enables to achieve improvements on the gesture recognition performance.
