A Research on use of Waste Tyre in Cement Concrete Pavement by Replacing Coarse Aggregates

One of the primary construction material that is used worldwide is concrete. For the development trading the most important materials that are used are aggregates and cement, these materials makes the primary and significant constituents for the production of concrete. As for concrete production the natural materials are being used in a greater demand. In a similar context that is required for natural resources utilization has been emerged as an increasing issue for protecting the environment as well as requirement for preserving the natural resources like aggregates that are being exploited through several materials that were actually recycled by the area unit. In this analysis, the study focuses on the replacing the coarse aggregate partially with recycled rubber tyre employment in the construction of concrete along with use of waste tyre that were obtained regionally. The initial sections of this particular study has discussed the background of the study along with the matter extent. The literature review section provides the review or discussion of the various relevant literatures that were performed for in the earlier times in this particular subject area. In this study, various tests were applied on the raw materials to investigate their suitableness and properties for this experimentation study. Three concrete grades that is M15, M20 and M25 are combined to prepare the concrete styles area units. To prepare the specimen, the coarse aggregates is used with different proportion replacement of 10, 25, and 50 for exploiting the mixture of rubber. Furthermore, to perform a comparative analysis, a bearing is developed without any coarse mixture replacement. The samples that were prepared includes beams, cylinders and cubes. After that these concrete samples were tested in the laboratory. The various tests that were performed are as flexural strength, impact resistance, lastingness, compressive strength, unit weight, and slump tests. These laboratory tests that were performed on the specimen were primarily supported by the information assortment. Results of these tests were then compared with the various concrete properties and it was observed that the concrete's compressive strength is decreased due to the presence of rubber aggregates. Although, due to this reason there are chances that it cannot be used in some structural applications. Also, along with the decreased compressive strength it has some important characteristics such as increased flexural strength, increased plasticity, higher impact resistance, and lower density. It is shown from the results that recycled rubber tyres can be used in the construction of concrete as coarse aggregates partial replacement. Due to the fascinating rubber aggregates area unit, the replacement proportion should be kept at normal amount as well as applications should be limited for specific cases where it is required to improve the properties.

WiFi Based Gas Pipe Leakage Detector Insect Robot using PI3

Security has been major issue in industry and house. Here number of Accidents are increasing day by day. Here, we saw many examples in our day to day life about those accidents that are being occurred due to combustible gases Like LPG, CNG. Frequently we hear, explosion of household cylinder which Domestic uses, travelling vehicles and many more industries. In some situation many people have been injured and several got dead because of explosion. So we are making this work for security and alerting peoples or specially workers those working on that environment. The aim of this work is to detect gas line leakage in under pipeline through Wifi connectivity and monitoring it with web. In the proposed system, the robot keeps moving along the metal pipe it keeps monitoring for any gas leakage, on detection it send data to computer via WIFI. It is automated insect like a robot that moves with the gas pipe and detects gas leakages instantly at the real time. This system is a sample project that how is leakage is been detecting and monitoring. This system may be applied in industrial applications for detecting pipeline leakages with large size kit. This system consists of gas detection using Raspberry pi and real time monitoring on web via WIFI.

An Experimental Study on Stabilization of Loose Soil by Using Jute Fiber

Stabilization is one of the methods of modifying the properties of a soil to improve its index parameters as well as strength parameters and it can be used for a variety of engineering works. Expansive soil is the major problem for civil engineers, either for construction of road and foundation works by using the stability of soil and reduces the construction cost. soil is stabilized by in objectives of this research were to investigate the effect of Jute fiber on the engineering property optimum moisture content and maximum dry density, plastic limit, liquid limit, compaction, unconfined compressive strength, triaxial and California bearing ratio test of the soil. Jute fiber is most suitable for increasing the strength of the soil and it is eco friendly material. In the present study, the soil samples prepared with the addition of Jute fibers by 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, and 1 the average length of Jute fiber is going to use in this study is approximately 10 15mm. At first, Optimum Moisture Content OMC was determined through the proctor test. At those OMC, several tests like CBR, UCS were conducted. CBR test was carried in both Unsoaked and soaked condition and maximum values were obtained where 0.75 Jute fiber was added.

Design and Simulation of Secure Network for University Campus

Today's wireless network has come to stay as an essential tool of communication in education sector. These sectors have started deploying computers to perform their daily work such as studying and learning and access resources from their network. This technology has enabled to learn much faster and more conveniently. There are some problems still faced by the users such as poor network design by having large broadcast within the network and various security attacks. These problems can be solved by implementing VLAN Virtual Local Area Network , PS Port Security in switches and ACL Access Control List . They have been simulated in packet tracer 6.3 software.

Study on Infrastructure Developments of Mobile Generations

Nowadays, as Mobile communication systems have been developing in various ways, people can get better communications and mobility. A long way in a remarkably short time has been achieved in the history of wireless. The first generation 1G has fulfilled the basic mobile voice while the second generation 2G has introduced capacity and coverage. This is followed by the third generation 3G , which has requested data at higher speeds to open the gates for truly "mobile broadband" experience. Furthermore, the fourth generation will be realized as the next generation. 4G provides access to a wide range of telecommunication services, including advanced mobile services, supported by mobile and fixed networks, which are increasingly packet based. This paper explains about the required components of infrastructure in mobile generations from 1G to 4G and also describes the performance of each portion in evolutions of 1G to 4G infrastructure. And then, people can study the introduction of the infrastructure requirements of 5G network technology.

Multiscale Modeling Approach for Prediction the Elastic Modulus of Percolated Cellulose Nanocrystal CNC Network

In this study the effective elastic modulus of cellulose nano crystal CNC network is evaluated using multi scale method and micro mechanical analysis. For this purpose, the elastic modulus of CNC water phases are randomly assigned to a two dimensional 2D checkerboard structure and the elastic response is evaluated. In addition, the effect of having a different number of phases CNC, water and interface is evaluated by assigning a discreet and continuous distribution of elastic modulus to checkerboard structure. When the number of phases increases dramatically, the distribution of phases is continuous and is defined with Wei bull distribution. The results show that for two phase materials CNC and water when the micro structure has organized pattern the rule of the mixture and numerical model provide the same effective modulus, however when the micro structure is completely random, the self consistent micro mechanical model should be used. Also, this study suggests 50 volume fraction as the percolation threshold for the CNC network with 10 GPa effective elastic modulus. The results from percolated multi phase network reveal that for micro structures with 4 phases and above, the percolated network converge to 35 GPa.
